Good morning, I open this thread to post any of your problems lg optimus 4x HD.
Beginning I, after only 9 days of operation my phone has stopped reading sim. Useless was my attempt to reset the phone KDZ updater, nothing more to do not read the sim.
Any other advice you can give me before you send it in for service.

understood the problem ... it has cleared the Folder to efs alone ... booo ... I had not done the root .... who knows how he erased alone. There is a way to restore Tenedos realize that I did not have a backup .. maybe a copy of the folder that you can pass me?
My 4X has problems with the audio....it stops/cut off sometimes.....
I changed my microsd from class 2 to 4 but still cannot solve this,can somebody helps me out? Should i wait for the custom rom in order to fix that? Coz i dont have to run to the customer service..... thanks

i have LG thrill 4g but for the past 2 weeks the touch is not working properly, the phone freezes and wakes up after 3-4 minutes. the top notification bar doesn't work in portrait mode but works in landscape mode.
So my query is :
1. do i need to replace the digitizer ? if yes, can i use the new digitizer of LG optimus 3d. O3D digitizer is compatible with Lg thrill or not ?

thank you very much for the reply, so i can go ahead with the Digitizer but just on other thought , any idea about why i am getting this problem with my phone ? is it possible if i use other ROM , this issue will get resolved w/o changing the digitizer ?

What rom are you running right now? I would definitely try wipes and a reinstall before I replaced hardware.

i purchased LG thrill from US last year, using it here in India and just 2 months back i upgraded it to GB when LG released the upgrade. i have already hard reset it 2-3 times .
Are u rooted with clockworkmod ?

I'm not very familiar with stk hard reset..but I don't think it wipes system partition as it would have to reflash rom. If you have corrupt system files hard reset may not fix....may need to reflash or could be hardware I suppose..I would reflash with lg flash tool if you haven't tried that already... Well truthfully I would have rooted and installed cwm long ago because I hate flashing from a computer through USB. I like my clockworkmod.
if u want to go that route find dark lestats thread in development it will walk u through the process.

Does anyone have a backup of a plain normal and just goy after kdzing update backup for cwm? I did mine back in the day but it is corrupted. And it hapens now that I have to return to stock from CM10 each time I need tethering and I don't really like to use kdz method (I did before, but I just don't like it )

Just try this new method someone posted on the general sections with lg pc suite, its easy and comfortable...

Ok, is what I thought. You know, I'm kind of busy at work and I can't stop by home. So I thought of copying the backup to the sd and restoring the LG Stock in the way, instead of being home restoring through KDZ

You DIDN'T search at all. Searching involves looking through the forums and opening your eyes. Don't be so lazy - everything you need is already documentet many, many times.

I have been dealing with a problem on my lg optimus l90.(d415)
I have been reseaching for months but have not found a soultion:crying:
I can still go into download mode and facrtory rest, but when I try to use the lg flash tool in download mode , it fails.
Also, it won't boot into android 5.0.2. it just stays on the lg logo and doesn't do anything eles.
If anybody has a posible soultion, please let me know. I am very desperate.

I dont know best solution for u but I had several conection issues using flash tools under windows 10.. If thats your case a reboot on PC may help phone conect.. At least it worked several times with me..
