I don't know. Its just rebooted and stucked at the X logo. Then i started the recovery menu. I pushed the factory reset, but i don't want it, so i put out the battery. Its just started the reset. I know, it was stupid thing, but adter the phone worked normally. Next morning (i charged it at night) it was stucked again at the X logo, the led was green. I left with the phone, but i can't power it on. Afternoon it doesn't do anything. When i try to charge it, the battery get hot, so its charging, but the led doesn't lights up. I have no recovery on anything else and the PC can't see the USB. It's the full history.
It lets you boot into recovery right? So why haven't you just re-flashed your rom?

As i said, it does nothing. No charging led, recovery, boot screen, nothing.
Check out the RiffBox. For $150, it has support for unbricking several dozen devices (including the Nexus One). The RiffBox allows you to reflash your SPL.
Hello everyone,
I'm new to such things and I messed up my LG Optimus 2X.
Now my 2X stucks on the screen with an LG logo with blue highlights.
I tried NVFlashing but am really stupid that I don't understand a thing.
I just want to get my phone back to stock and most probably won't touch such complicated things again.
Help will be much appreciated.
Just to add on, I can't get into recovery mode, it just stucks on the lg logo with blue highlights screen. I guess if I get into recovery mode, I can do a factory reset right?

Thanks but I don't quite understand
"I was able to NVFlash (battery out, hold both vol keys and plug in USB) over a good recovery, and the phone booted straight to it, from there I restored the old boot.img that I had, rebooted"
Where do you get the good recovery? :/
Sorry I'm really dumb at such things
Er, the link in that post maybe?
I downloaded it but don't really get how to use it..
Somehow I found a link containing "2x-v10b-1300166062-nvflash.zip" and downloaded it. I opened the flash.bat file and it successfully turned my phone into factory state. Thank you very much for your time anyway. I really appreciate it

do a hard factory reset.
press vol.down + power for 10 seconds.
wait for the phone to recover to its factory state.

It should be possible but Lg doesn't release sources to tools that can do that.
Ive been trying to get it to boot from SD card. So far no luck.

Try reflashing the image and make sure all your drivers are installed. Go to device manager and look for any yellow triangles!
Try this :-

Yes this guide is the one but first you need to re-flash ICS back onto it to get it out of the boot loop. I tried going straight back and after flashing GB back onto it it would continue on its boot loop only way I got rid of the loop was to flash ICS back onto it then downgrade using the guide.
I did this myself and thought i had broken everything!
Re-flash your ICS then follow the guide. This worked perfect for me and my phone is faster then ever!
on a side note #15 on the guide says WITHOUT i kept messing this part up >_<
Hi everyone,
I recently flashed my S advance in odin from ICS to GB but after I flashed it, the phone freezes when I boot it.
It stays stuck on the boot screen where you see the phone's logo in black and white.
I can't go into recovery mode and I can't charge my phone cuz it freezes when I do.
(My phone was rooted when I flashed it)
Can anyone help me please?
