Does anyone know of a tempered glass screen protector for our Nexus 7? I have one for my Galaxy S III and love it.
Thanks.

I have the one for my GN and love it. Working on a version for the N7 as well.

Quite a steep price (I was hoping for half that), but it sure would add some protection to the unit.

Who rocks their Nexus S without a screen protector?

Who does not use a screen protector on their nexus s? My invisishield just got really bad so I took it off. I think I will get a new one but who doesn't use one at all? You have any scratches?
I don't use one. Have had my NS for 13 days and no scratches yet!

I have front and the camera lens covered. I'm waiting for Otterbox..
Why would you use a screen protector? It would totally negate the amazing oliophobic coating that makes this device so special

Ive never had a screen protector on this phone, and ive had it since the day it came out. Not a single scratch on the screen.
Of course now that i say that im going to scratch it tonight.

Had mine since release, not one scratch...on the screen.
I have a ghost armor screen protector and have been wanting to go no SP. Only thing stopping me are the painful pictures I've seen of the oleophobic coat wearing off.

I've had my Nexus One for about a year. I have a couple scratches on my screen even with Gorilla Glass. The scratches are definitely from keys. I also have a few nicks on the body. I went a month with a pouch/case and screen protector but after about a month I realized how you totally lose the design of a phone with cases'. So I think when I get my Nexus S, Im gonna use a pouch and just rock my phone fully NAKED, who cares if you scratch the screen or the body, Its just a phone. In about a year when your going to sell it, its already dated and worth little to nothing, How much is a 6/10 condition Nexus One Vs a 9/10 Nexus One?
im looking for a pouch too. i love the way the stock phone feels on my hand.
i'm not using any screen protectors for about a month, and no scratch till now

Because there are small spots on my screen where the coating is gone (or seems that way anyways). There are others who have experienced this also in the big "oleophobic coating" topic. It can only be seen under light in a certain angle, but it's definitely there. The screen protector negates the effect so I don't see it anymore. Weird, but that's why I use a screen protector.
No screen protector. No scratches either

I don't use a screen protector, had my phone since the week it was launched in the UK and I don't have any scratches on it.
I always think they look rubbish, no matter how neatly they are put on.
i dont even use one on my evo, unless your working in the trades I dont think most people will benefit from using a protector
No screen protector since day 1 in december, no scratches either despite some bad drops on concrete which have dented the plastic around the screen.
Glass is tough!
I think building up a castle around a phone is "iPhone user style"

zagg invisibleshield

anyone know if they are going to make one for note 2
Have you tried contacting them? Usually they won't have one until it is released in the US.

yes fired them an email today
They put protector tint on my ex galaxy s III back door. It was excellent job.
Is it worth using it instead of a case for body protection?
I haven't used any zagg shields before but à friend of mine had one on his nexus one, and it was looking awful..

In the Galaxy Note 10.1 forums, many complain that the Zagg feels terrible with the rubbery S Pen tip. Drags a lot, they recommended those crystal clear ones like those from ClearPlex. I dont think they have one for the note II yet tho.

There are a number of them available from Amazon. The Galaxy Note Zagg/BodyGuardz had the same issue.

Zagg sucks go for a Glas.T when they're out or if u can't wait go for the crystal Spigen available on amazon right now

I hope best skins ever make one for note 2 I allways use them much better than zagg and cheaper.
If I'm not mistaken, doesn't the user manual recommend NOT using a screen protector? Something about it interfering with the S-Pen.
But yeah, I'd go with something other than the invisibleshield, as stated above it adds a lot of friction (in my experience) and you get a sort of orange-peel effect.
FYI looks like they ship 10/24-10/26 for those who were waiting

Ok, call me crazy, but I find myself wondering how much use I will get out of the pen. I am used to android and navigating with my fingers. As well my ipad too.
What about the zagg HD it feels just like glass compared to normal or anti-glare zagg I don't think it will feel too rubbery. I've had zagg since my hero days and I love them. I'm waiting for US release of GN2 and I'm pretty sure I'm going to get zagg HD for it as long as one comes out for it. I'll report back and let you guys know how it is.

Anyone ever use Skinomi? I have a friend that always uses Skinomi screen protectors (and a full body guard once I believe) and always gets a PDAir case. I've never used them, but he swears by them.

In my experience the Xtremeguard quality was less than stellar. I've tried a few wet application urethane manufacturers and found the Xoskins were excellent with good customer support, but they are more expensive.

As an FYI, the skin protectors are good against scratches not drops. I know it's common sense but I had a perfectly self applied zagg shield on my Nexus One and it fell off my night stand and the screen broke. After that I went out and bought a Seidio Surface Case and haven't looked back.
They had a Zagg skin on the display model of the original note I tried out at Target and it really didn't work very well with the S-pen, as stated too much drag, felt awful. Something between that feel and the too slick feel of the naked screen would be perfect. I thought I had that right after applying the Spigen Ultra Crystal, it was just right initially but it became as slick as the glass after a little finger oil accumulated.
Keep away from this guys the zagg for note2 really not good i hv bought one from bestbuy before yesterday and i have regret to buy, toutching is not good, all not good at all, i just west 27 usd for nothing, ill go and buy sgp from amazon

heya guys, apparently xtremeguard are having a sale on all screen protectors.
head over to http://www.xtremeguard.com
add your items to cart

sorry if this sounds like an ad, but i just got an email, and it seems like a bloody good deal! already ordered 5 full body ones!
The screen protector that they make is badly marked by the S Pen. Just FYI.

really? i havent had any issues with their screen protector on my note 1. still waiting for my note 2 and note 2 screen protectors to arrive though.
they sucked for my galaxy nexus. clarity sucks and marks everywhere with 6 months use on my nexus.
got the mobc screen protector for my note which is so freak clear ! not sure about scratch resistant yet.

Otterbox Defender screen protector vs Just like Glass one?

I am wondering, is the otterbox the best screen protector for protection? It seems like it is, since it sits off the screen, and would be really hard to scratch, but is a DBA or Amzer, or one of the just like glass ones better? just wanted to see people's opinions,
Thanks,
Pretty much I want BEST drop/scratch protection!
I ordered a voyager 2 tempered glass screen protector. I HATED that built in screen protector and the plastic protectors don't work for me so well since I work and go to school in full fluorescent lighting. Should be here in a week.

I wouldn't dream of any other case than Otter Box. I've had one on each of my Notes and one on a work phone. Keeps phones in pristine condition.

Top bulky for me I'd rather break my phone on one drop than hide it that much. I use just like glad easy install, that is if You aren't bugged by a wet install. The only thing is it has a rainbow effect to it with the screen off only though so it's not that bad .
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda premium
I use both the JLG and Defender protectors at the same time. No issues.
The main issue with the Defender is that the gap between the home button can allow dust/sand/grit to get under the protector and scratch it up. The JLG prevents that Also if I swap cases for whatever reason, the screen will still be protected.
I bought a 5 pack or regular ones off amazon and the work great. Had an otterbox but it seemed like the screen protector was super thick.

I haven't tried another brand to compare them to.figured for inexpensive has they are i can just put a new one on more often lol
With my g3, i have ordered twice from xtreme guard. First set the glass just a had a cutout for the front camera and speaker which was great and nice looking .the second time i ordered the protectors, they were notched the whole way across the top of the screen to not cover anything
If i get the note 5 id probably buy a set and try again
I want to put a new one on my g3 when i get a new phone and post a scratch test and show how easy they scratch for me.
Thank you. Ordered.

So the regular screen protector for $8 is a plastic film? The only glass one is the spartan?

Don't order the plastic one it's a much cheaper material. I've tried those as well and they suck. Their glass screen protectors are legit. For $3.99 you can go wrong
