xda2i sound problem

please tell me what to do i have 3 xda2i whit the same problem when you call the sound go to headphones i make update whit qutek but is the same problem all the time when you try to call the sound go on headphones pls give me advice
your phone may be dfooled into thinking that there is a headset inserted in the jack. if you can, plug in a jack and take it out a few times, jiggle it about a bit. in a bid to restore system sound.
does it happen when the charger or usb cable is plugged in? if so, it's likely to be the connections on the plug. See this thread I found on the subject, http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-245857.html, and this one for the connections. http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Connectors.
I had the same problem, I cut both loop wires that go from pin 2, to pins 5 & 18 (on mine, the only two that looped back) and everything worked fine after that.

[Q] Audio Problem

Hi,
First of all i apologize for my english.. Now i hope i can explain my problem..
I have a Galaxy S3 I9305 bought in Germany and i'm having some audio issues.
When i connect my headset (the ones that samsung gives) the phone reconize them (it says "headphone connected" and shows the icon) but if i try to listen music it doesn't work... If i pull out a little the jack it starts to work but then i have to don't touch the jack or i will lose the audio again.. is there any soultion ?
Ah, and the 3,5mm "isn't plugged in all the way".. "the ‘shaft’ of the headset isn't all the way in with the white portion of the headset touching the ‘frame’ of the phone" i have to push harder ? i tried a bit harder...but i don't want to break the socket..
Hope you can help me
Just try another pair of headphones or plugging it into some kind of a speaker via AUX to see if you have a faulty socket, if all is well then just use another pair of headphones or chase whevever you purchased it from for a replacement pair
Sent from my GT-I9305 using xda premium
Tried different headsets...
I looked into the socket and i see something...don t know what...
I also tried my headphone on my sister's S3 I9300 and the jacket goes all in...into my I9305 doesn't anyone having a I9305 could try the stock headphones from samsung and tell me if when they plug the jacket it goes all in or stay a bit out?

headphone issue - no sound at all

Hi, I had an 4GB Alpha for a week but have just sold it today (I realized I still prefer my Xiaomi Max). The guy who bought it contacted me after a couple of hours because he can't get any sound out of the headphone socket. He tried it with several headphones which work without issues with other phones (as far as I understand he tested it with Samsung and Sony headphones) and I have no idea what setting to change (he tried the volume buttons trust me) - any ideas how to make the headphone socket work? I had no idea about this issue as I don't use wired headphones at all. Btw the phone detects the headphones as the headphone icon is displayed when a headphone is connected.

Mine work just fine. received the phone the week before Xmas and it got 2 updates since then. Tried with Samsung, AKG (both in hear) and JVC headsets and had no problems whatsoever. Maybe you/he can solve the problem with this last system update via OTA or could be a hardware failure. In my Samsung A5 2017 only the Samsung headphones would work because the jack was a tad longer than the AKG's. The latter would spring back after being inserted and only one channel would work.
pause for effect
I have found that inserting the jack but pausing before pushing in for the "click" allows the phone to detect the headphones. Logo shows in the status bar. I don't even think about it anymore when I do it. Not ideal but workable. I use an old pair of Samsung earbuds.
Hope it helps

Wired ear plugs/head set stopped working suddenly

hi guys
I'd like to ask, if you got some idea what could have happened. Out of the sudden, my wired ear plugs/head set stopped working. Tried with other devices, with the adaptor -> working. When I plug in using the adapter, there is no head phone shown on the display. BT was ff, connecting to a computer works, charging too. ONLY the ear plugs are not working with the Oppo... strange somehow, right ?
ANY ideas ?thanks in advance, FrankOppo
