I just purchase N.O.V.A. 3 and it said the device is not compatible. Does anyone know how to get passed that and play anyway.

It worked for me on the default sense build. If you are running liquid ICS like your SIG says then its probably wasn't updated to work with this phone and ICS.

Im not much of a well known Dev. But I know my way around programming and Android. Ill look into this and reply back with what I've found, and if its possible.it should be seeing as they did this to the nexus roms. But I'll check back when I investigate more.

It is really easy to turn an ICS build into tablet mode. If you pick one of the ICS builds out for the bionic that you want to run I will show you how to do it all for the low cost of a thanks.

I like this ics rom. http://www.mediafire.com/?v16w74zbwrx480x thank you so much
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2
This is rather simple to accomplish. The biggest thing you have to do for this to happen is change the screen density. Since the tablet ics ui is fused in with phone roms now.

I set it to 155 and it didn't do anything except make everything small. What else do I do?

Is there any chance for this device to get the new Jellybean?
Sent from my HTC PH39100 using Tapatalk 2
Officially, it's highly unlikely... but there will likely be themes if not some ports done by the wonderful developers here at XDA.
yeah, I've been wanting to see the performace improvements they claim to have the upgrade to 4.1
Judging from the Vivid tech specs...I'm assuming its possible for a ROM/port of JB. But, as far as I would "guess".....I don't think there will be an actual update for the Vivid, as HTC has not yet gotten full AOSP...

Some people say "yes", some other say "no" and HTC is not answering tweets related to that, actually I think it's possible, we have almost the same hard as One S, and it's pretty sure getting JB, but untill HTC let us know about that officially we'll be just dreaming

I would he happy if they would just fix the problems with 4.0.3 - supposedly a 4.0.4 version that is coming/has come to some phones.
I want jelly bean bad my friend just put jellybean on his Sony Ericsson play r800x

Just bug fixes. Now, I couldn't tell you what those are though.

in my opinion, the hardware of the Vivid is more than capable of running Jellybean. I used to have a Motorola Atrix 4g (1 ghz dual core) that was like 3 years old and it ran Jellybean better than my Vivid runs Ice Cream. I imagine this was because of Project butter but I think the Vivid would be a ok.

I have a Samsung Infuse that is a single core 1.2ghz with 512mb of ram that runs jellybean flawlessly
Anyways...looks like h8rift has found the fix for mic and just needs to perfect it...won't be much longer for a stable 4.1

I have been watching videos on youtube and the note 2 is pretty epic...the way you can have two apps running on the same page just like a laptop etc just looks pretty epic.
If some one has done it, link me to it, or if someone is in the process and it comes out in time, then remember me and link me to it
Lol thanks guys
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
It's part of the new Touchwizz framework so sources aren't available and we can't port the note 2 roms to the note because it's different hardware and drivers. There's a chance they'll include some of the note 2 features such as pick up to answer in the jb official release but that's all speculation at this point, just have to wait.

But surely if someone has managed to get HTC sense working (is) on the note then the drivers etc should not be to hard?
Well it would be hard for me but I have no idea what so ever lol
I really hope someone does it at some point, because it does look rather impressive.

I believe HTC release the source code for sense to their developer network, whereas samsung don't.

I just flashed the PAC man ROM and I just want to say its a great experience. there is an audio issue not quite sure if it is my phone or the ROM, but when I put the volume high it sounds crappy like staticky but I just dropped my phone before I could ever hear something on the rom so not sure what it is. One other thing is I like the keyboard for this ROM but it is taking me some time to get used to. Is there any way to get the sense 4 keyboard? The black one with the arrows. I really like that keyboard
Thanks in advance.

1 - Not just you - it's an issue with all the JB ROMs at the moment
2 - If you can find an AOSP JB keyboard mod, it might work with this ROM. There are none available in the Vivid forum at the moment, and I have not tried any from elsewhere. But make a backup, try it out, and let us know
I might just get the keyboard from the holics ROM. And put it in here see if that works I'll report back to it. As for the sound k l try and see if I can do anything to try and help with that

DT nice to see you here.
Thanks for a great and stable ROM. Just a minor bug. :good:
The 2g/3g still disappears after a reboot. I know for sure this is fixed in the carbon rom. How this helps.
Keep up the good work man!

Yup, that was reported in the last build. I'll check it out. Kind of crossing my fingers on some 4.3 love.
Last update was more of a clean up after my lappy died.
