If you hardbrick your phone due to bug, as long you have no binary count ( use triangleaway or usb jig ), you can claim your warranty.

If you go to download mode you will see it at the top, if you see 0 then your ok.
Triangle away is a program that set your binary count to zero.
Usb jig, is a device you put it in your usb to enable you to go download mode without doing a combo button and use also to set your binary count to zero. But the easiest now a day is to use triangle away, google it for further info.

Ok, so I Flash rocket rom on my note and when i rebooted the phone it stucks on the screen of samsung galaxy note, i can not enter to CMW mode so i can do anything...What do i do? i think i just screw up my cellphone please help me
Probably get a usb jig. Take your battery off.. Insert battery and connect jig. Your phone will boot into download mode. Then remove jig and connect your data cable and flash any stock Rom via odin

Go to this site http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3 and you will find Odin 1.85. Firmware for your country/region and flashguide. Register first, it`s free
It`s not so hard: download Odin 1.85, download the right firmware.
Put the firmware in PDA in Odin, close Kies and kies trayagent and PDLR in your windows toolbar (rightclick and go to taskmanager), put your phone in downloadmode, connect with computer and when you see ADDED in the left corner window of Odin and the the ID.com left upper window turns yellow press start and flash and let it boot. Hence, i was told to use odin1.85 to flash back the stock rom.... during the progress... it stuck on factoryfs.img

Does that means i need to pay samsung to restore back for me?
Hello guys, even I am stuck factoryfs.img when trying to flash stock ROM.
I bricked my phone trying to install rocket ROM ICS.
I am using PC ODIN and LA5 firmware, I tired KL3 too, but no luck. I am just stuck at around 95% with odin saying flashing factoryfs.img.
PLEASE HELP
If you are able to enter recover, wipe cache, wipe delvic cache, wipe off data
then reflash
I am not able to enter into recovery. Only download mode is working, but when trying to flash the stock rom, it is stuck at factoryfs.img.

Not specific, you select any different, n as balok said connect directly to usb port, n close if antivirus running. Better download rom without antivirus, some time antivirus can cause problem, if any component of rom falsely consider as trojan.

Easiest way is
If you are able to get into download mode
1. Flash Stock ROM with PC odin
2. get root N install ICS base custom ROM
3.Use triangle away to reset counter
4 Back to Stock ROM

Hi dude here is the message angelom sent to me its got the link to the Kernel Enjoy
So here is the link kernel that reset counter and remove yellow triangle:
http://www.mediafire.com/?5bmrc6cf81w5mya
Of course this is what I tried last night and it was fine (flashed over 10 times)
instructions:
It 'a tar file, then flashed it with Odin Pc
You need to have ICS, so if you tried to install GB with odin, you have to flash the Chinese leak ICS (always with odin)
Even if you flash the rom from error, after trying to install, always installs with odin the kernel, it usually also with your problem is successful.
Just you see that phone reboot (just odin gives you the message that the flash of the kernel has been successful) disconnect the usb cable and press once the keys to enter the recovery mode (Vol + + home + power) and keep them pressed until do not see the recovery.
You'll still have the yellow triangle.
When did you get into recovery (still touch CWM) touch on reboot
So, even if eventually the Rom should not start it for the problem of partitions, you'll see that the triangle is gone and the counter is reset.
Of course you do so at your own risk, given my experience after what has happened, I emphasize.

Install kies in ur pc
Install odin for mini
Dwnload tass.ops
Check for working usb cable and port
Dwnld any stock firmware from samfirmwares.com
Extract its contents and place it anywhere in pc
Keep ur phone in download mode...power+centre+down buttons when phone is off
Connect to pc while running odin
If odin detects your device ( to check this, observe a yellow bar in COM1 AFTER connectin phone)
Click one package, select ops, select tar.md5(stock firmware)
Push start
Have some water take a potty break
When a blue colour in COM1 is shown with pass in it...THEN ONLY DISSCONNECT THE PHONE
THE ABOVE STEP IS VVVVERY IMPORTANT
Use ur phone like before
Happy flashing and good luck
A nice quick clean guide...I will put it in my blog with links..thanx mate

Flashing custom cm roms or aokp through cwm won't necessarily raise the counter. I've only had 2 raised counters and that was when flashing with pc Odin. It seems mobile odin or cwm are a bit more reliable on that front. And I think it's more the kernel that raises flash counter.

no worries about there. I myself flashed ROMs quite a few times already and my counter is still 0.. I know of others whose counter is still 0 even though they've flashed more than thrice compared to mine. But hey, I'm not complaining. It is good that my counter is still at 0.. Many use triangle away to reset theirs to 0 but mine has always been 0 so all is good

Please give some more details what you exactly did and what Rom you use and how you rooted it.
"somehow i manage to get it rooted n working again" isn't precise.
First of all you should check if you can boot into recovery or into download mode. In download mode you should connect the device to your PC and check with Odin if it is recognized. I take for sure that you connected the Note successfully before with your PC (and you have drivers installed).

yes, nw i can boot into recovery n download mode. yes, in download mode odin can detect my phone, but not kies, it says device cannot be detected.
tis was wat happen...i was on stock rom, then i try to root my note using cwm.zip n superSU-v0.87.zip. after running in cwm recovery i run superSU then i assume tat after doing the steps i should wipe my data n reboot my phone my phone. i was wrong, my phone got brick. then i try to restore it bk to stock, so i dl odin n the stock rom, but it dint work. then i came by a thread on the forum on how to get the phone bk to life by using some pit files, so i tried. after running the pit files, then i run odin n try to restore bk to stock. my phone came bk to life but stuck on the logo page, so i ran cwm again n rooted my phone. but nw my phone has a bit of problem, it does not connect to kies thru usb, it turns off by itself after a while if i leave it for abt 20mins, i cant turn on my bluetooth. ps help. thks.
After using a repetition pit, the phone will freeze on large roms. Best bet is to install a slim rom and test out.
