I recently updated my galaxy tab wifi GT-P1010 from froyo to gingerbread 2.3.6 thru kies.
Alas, i lost my root and till now am unable to root it. Can anyone please help?

hi, i would like to root my VZW Gingerbread EF01 galaxy tab. i tried the ef01 rooted rom but i didnt like it. i tried gingerbreak and it didnt work, is there another way for 2.3.4?
I also tried z4 and that crashed

My tab Samsung 7" GT-P1000M is freezing at logo Samsung when it reboots because I've tried to upgrade it from Froyo 2.2 to Gingerbread 2.3.6. My firmware is UGJJ7. Could you help me to fix this problem? Thank you in advance and you are my last hope!

Have you tried to update using Odin 1.7?
What Rom did you tried to flash?
I'll suggest to restock using the instructions on the overcome thread.
