If you can get the phone to boot into emergency download mode then you could try installing the Samsung Kies application on your windows PC and using the "emergency firmware recovery" option.

[Q] Galaxy mini GT-S5570 can't start up

Somebody.. please help me. I'm newbie, I dont really understand about rooting..
My Galaxy mini can't start up (boot) after I tried to install ROM..
at the first I installed CWM via 'ROM manager' it's done. after I tried to install ROM. and then my device can not start up, it just shows SAMSUNG (logo)..
Help me please
thanks before
As it's already been said thousand times you DON'T have to use rom manager cause it doesn't work on our device..Now you have to check if you can go in download mode and if odin can recognize your device..if not then you have to bring your device to a samsung center

First of all, WRONG SECTION THIS IS A S5830 Q&A THREAD!!!
READ READ READ READ UNTIL YOUR EYES CRY BLOOD, LOL!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1552792
This has been said over a hundred times in forums. The SGA and the SGAi dont have much things in common (except for the name ). They have different builds, bla bla...
So flashing ur phone with Ace ROMS might brick you Acei. So flash your mobile with Acei ROMs. I think this shall solve ur problem.
Edit: Well the thing in question was CWM, not ROMs. But still, the answer is same.
Cheers!

Hey!
Flash .pit file from Odin(Download mod) if no luck May be you should go back all way back to stock rom then come back to your jellybeen..
Hit thanks if i helped you :highfive:
Hey, on our phone you have trouble getting into recovery if 'touch sounds' are on. I don't know if the same thing applies to the i9000, because the phones are very different.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2659269
i was wondering if it worth installing my girlfriend have s5830 but im looking for a stable and smooth rom... have you tried cm11 on this device and if is slow or laggy?
IOP its not worth. Once you install it will be running good but once you install 5 or more apps it will become slow.

I completely agree with @aurisltu and @Viper The Ripper. CM 11 KitKat is still under development so its not completely stable. Also installing few apps can make it slow and laggy. But developers are currently working on it to make it stable and smooth. So you can check back in few months. In the mean time, you can go with CM 7.2 roms as they are much more stable and smooth. My personal suggestion,

Can you boot into the Download Mode? To boot into the Download Mode, hold Vol Down+ Home+ Power button until you see the yellow "Downloading..." text on the screen. If you can go to Download Mode, then you can solve the problem by reinstalling the stock rom using odin. Here is the link on how to install stock rom using odin. Go to "Preparations" section to download all the necessary files including drivers.
Flash stock rom on Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 using odin
Once installed, go to recoverymod and do a wipe data/ factory reset & wipe cache (otherwise bootloop might occur). Then restart. Now you have successfully flashed the stock rom. Here is the link for rooting and installing CWM 5 on Samsung Galaxy Ace,

You usually get the "setup connection" error when you are in the Emergency Download Mode instead of Download Mode. You go to Emergency Download Mode by holding down Volume Up + Volume Down + Home Button + Power Button in which it loads a screen that says "Emergency Download Mode" and you go to Download mode by holding down Volume Down + Home Button + Power Button in which it does load the correct download screen with the yellowish message that say "Downloading…". Please make sure you are going to the Download Mode. Then try to flash again. Do post the result. Hope I Helped
