[Q] Rocket Rom tont know how to flash with CWM?

Hey,
I rootet my Galaxy Note right now and I hat Display issues but with a newer kernel it was fixed.
Now i wanted to flash Rocket Rom on my device, I have downloadet "ROCKET-v20-LA4-eybee1970.zip" to flash it on my device.
Like I learned I extracted the files on my device in the folder .../external_sd/firmware (there are two folders, one flash image, one modem.bin and one zImage), I thought there where a md5 file or something like that.
CWM cant find the right files.
Can anyone help me... I dont know what to do!

No dont do it, you hav mention method is for stock rom
Dont extract zip.
here you need cwm, reboot in recovery, select flash zip file from sd (int / ext depend on whr u have save zip file)
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium

- Do not extract ROM, just put it in your internal SD (11G)
- Boot to CWR (hold home+power+vol up after shutdown your note)
- Chose install zip from sd-card, chose internal sd-card and select your ROM (.zip file)

After flashing do a wipe / Factory reset and Wipe cache if stuck on boot loop after flashing.

I flashed Rocket Rom 21 today and all works fine.
But one problem is again...
on Rocketrom 20 where a lock animation like an old CRT and not it only goes Black without an animation, how I can install that now?? Or can I change a setting to do that?

I forgot about the CRT affect - thanks for reminding me turn it on.

[Q] Problem Installing Gapps

This is my first post here and im pretty new to android
I recently flashed imilka's cyanogenmod 9 v3 and its been working great.
Problem is that I havent been able to get google apps on it.
I went into recovery mode, hit install from zip, used "gapps-ics-20120422-signed" and when it installs the system hangs on unmounting system and the status bar goes of the screen
any help would be much appreciated

Seems like a bad zip download!! Try with a fresh zip!
and toggle signature verification to off from the recovery sub menus.
And that should resolve the issue.
Once gaaps are flashed clear cache and dalvik cache and reboot.
It should say android is upgrading and the it will boot.

[XXBLL5-V8] Ripper Rom no Themes ?

Hi im using [XXBLL5-V8] Ripper Rom with Perseus Kernel and 23 toggles .. i tried to install the Moto theme and the Alexander one but they don't change anything .. i tried to install a theme for multi-window but that don't change anything either .. what i`m doing wrong ?
1) installed the rom with factory restore and format sistem and wipe all
2) install Perseus kernel
3) make rom little with apk from updateme
4) install 23 toggles
5) install alexander theme ( no change )
6) install moto theme (no change )
7) install theme for multi window (no change )

What recovery are you using. The themes are VR Themes and are not compatible with TWRP recovery but should work for CWM recovery. If you are using CWM is there free space on the internal storage as the zip has to extract the files and mod them on the storage and then sends puts them into the system. If you have an external sd you could try to move the theme zip file from the internal storage to external and see that lets you flash it

I using TWRP recovery so this is the culprit , will the touch CWM work ? I really don't like the normal one with the volume keys and all :crying:

If you want a touch CWM then I recommend using Philz.

Do we have a custom SystemUI that we can flash so the mods for 23 toggles and Drop Down Mods will work ,or do they have to be made specific for the 9305 ?
The Motomoto theme say it install a new bootanimation , but i have the original animation still

hey saw your situation and thought i had a very similar one that could be note worthy. i have been using pandariam for awhile now and absolutely love it. thats besides the fact, i had followed his instrutions on installing the cwm recovery 5.5 because of everyone having problems with the touch versions. now whenever the 5.7 release came out i just recently updated to TWRP which cause all themes that were availiable in his pacage to prove unworkable. i had tried probably about 7-8 times before backdating to CWM recovery 5.5 until the kinks are worked out. the touch is nice and user friendly but not when ever it doesnt work with the user's wishes. hope this helped a little and if u run into a problem connecting to your pc or flashing back to cwm 5.5 PM me because i ran into a data network hiccup and a one whenever i tried to flash back to the older version.

[Q] status bar problem

i flashed this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2041264 and it flashed succesfully but after logo and on startup i have status bar bug avoid me to start system although i did all steps

Tty clearing cache and dalvik cache. If that doesn't work, reflash ROM

take your sim card out and do a fresh install without any scrips

Soft bricked my phone while changing fonts

I have a rooted ace with cwm installed.
I wanted to change fonts - I copied the original clocktopia.tff to my sdcard, and replaced the original in the phone.
Now my phone boots up, homescreen appears and it keeps resetting.
I want a flashable zip with the original fonts. Is it possible to unbrick it?
I'm sorry if my sentences don't make sense, I'm scared.

Yes. Flash a new rom and that will fix it. Also wipe all data in the recovery mode before installing the new rom.

Isn't there a way to fix this without installing a new rom? Can I flash http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19493099&postcount=3 ?
I don't want to lose all my stuff.
Oh, and also I have the font backed up in my SD card, can I transfer it to the font folder?
