you have to flash them using cwmr but make sure you pick compatible themes or else you will end in endless FCs.

[Q] LPF rom and CWM

can someone PLEASE tell me..if i go from LPY to LPF using the posted instructions can I then install the CWM.apk so i can install various mods ie Battery cricle mod, Beats audio mod, Flash a new boot animations and a few others. I DON'T want to install a rom through CWM just mods as listed above.
I have asked and asked everywhere and had no answer from anyone.

If you flash LPF and follow the instruction by Dr Ketan from here, then you'll have both root and CWM to "play" with your Rom!

[Q] The best way for a migration to CyanogenMod from stock ICS 4.0.4

>>>> WARNING <<<< Noob inside
Hello everybody
Please forgive me if my english is not good
This is my first post in the XDA forum, and after more than day to read a lots of interresting posts, i'm completly lost...
I have a GN with the last stock rom from Samsung (4.0.4 XXLRG - Open Germany) and it's rooted.
When i look into the XDA CyanogenMod thread, I read that:
- I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO FLASH FROM A CF-ROOTED STOCK GINGERBREAD ROM, JUST TO AVOID YOU HARD BRICKS.
And in the CynogenMod Wiki, this:
- This guide assumes the device is already running stock Ice Cream Sandwich available from Samsung. If the Samsung Galaxy Note already has the ClockworkMod Recovery installed, skip this section.
I'm confused....
What's the best way to install CM9 on my note ?
> going back to a "safe" GB rom ?
> keeping my Stock rooted ICS rom and start the install of CM9 ?
Thank you in advance for your replys.

Download Stock GB Rom from Dr. Ketan's page
Flash that using PC Odin
After flash do wipe from recovery
Root + CWM from chainfire's thread(use search feature )
After CWM, put CM9 zip in SD card and flash(instructions available if you search :highfive
Don't flash from stock ICS because of emmc brickbug :sillyagain search will help here )

[Q] about accessibility to change rom

Hi guys
I have a question: I'm on the custom rom ultimate 4.1.2
and I wanted to know can I change my rom to the CM10.1 (4.2.1) and if I dont like it, return to the ultimate ?how ?
Thanks so much cause your help :good:
Use the q&a section for these questions.
Yes you can change to Cm10.1. Instructions are in the rom thread. Before changing boot into recovery and make a backup. Later you can revert back to same rom using the restore feature in Cwm.

1) Yes it needs a deodexed rom, it says so in the instructions (Please read them)
2) To install a deodexed rom, find one in the dev section and read the instructions on how to install it
3) No need for unloacked bootloader. (Please read post 2 of the all in one thread. Its the first thread in this section)
4) No idea, you need to decide which rom is best for your phone yourself.
