I know the current max GPU clock for note is 400mhz
But would it be possible to oc to 500 or 600 like s3
Since its the same identical GPU?

Think that pushing farther won't make any difference...

I disagree. I think it will make a difference but if I recall correctly, the one in GS3 is not exactly the same and can run a higher speeds with less heat/voltage. Unless I am totally off on that one.
Should give noticeable performance increase during 3d gaming.

Some kernels say the gpu is clock to 320mhz, what is it clocked to on stock? Also some kernels state dual core, does this mean stock doesn't use both cores? Just would like to know I'm kind of a spec junky. HTC vivid

Anything that promotes dual core is just hype since our phone is a dual core.
I believe stock gpu is around 266

in my country its like 10% lesser that one x and approx 35% lesser than s3 so basiclly its the cheapest quad core phne
Its about 500-600€ here, but i got it for 350€ and i think this is really worth it. One x and s3 are ~50€ more.
It's £300 sim free on expansys

http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=4238&idPhone2=4854 you should probably go into a store and check note 2 to see if it's size suits you.

I think you should take S3 if you don't need 5.5 inch screen. The hardware is pretty same as in Note II, same gpu, processor(in Note II 1,6Ghz), chipset. Note II has better battery, but with this hardware it can last for max 2 days w/o charging. IMHO if I would change my phone I will probably take S3, I don't need big screens
but note 2 got 2gb ram n s3 jz 1gb ram...tat is what im thinking

Personal opinion id take the S3 without hesitation.

Note2 for 2GB
For smooth i suggest Note2.
is it possible to double our ram somehow ? like taking from SD or even adding a hardware ? that would be awesomen

if you have madd skillz and can change motherboards components/firmware, maybe. Not sure if done before.
Options people do use are swapfiles. But I have only read that.

Are we ever going to see the advertised 2.1ghz or are we stuck in 1.5ghz land? This it's like the not stepping up to the next level.
Thoughts?

The phone runs 2.1 and 1.5 simultaneously.

Shouldn't we see this in like cpu spy and other apps that can log the high and low during a bench test?
