plz i love this rom alot but hate this battery issue i have searched alot and cant find answers plz help out people

Be more specific. You're on Jellybean right? It's your media scanner that's pegging your CPU at full speed. Download Rescan media root from the play store and disable media scanner.
Search next time.

In my opiniom it is GC8.2. I tried all roms available. The most stable, freememory, free ROM space and with SE look + widgets, I found GC. Go with it.
I find it really funny when people don't like a certain phone or ROM, because theu can't play a certain game.
I guess I'm the same. I'm getting an iTouch for xmas just because I wanna play Minecraft PE!
Leave a thanks if I helped!

Because the IPhone doesn't have real multitask. The IOS basically freeze the background application (except a few like music player).
Android doesn't. Android has real multitask.

Good answer
but is it really I mean we have ndrive for example when you press home button it still track you in the navigation and give you instructions Iphone doesn't have this option??!!!!
also how many space should I have in my internal memory to have fast phone or all depend on free ram?!!
if it was on the ram so which apps takes a lot of ram (in general)??!
thnx all
I have noticed something paradox. In suppressed rom (v6 & V7) i had only 4-5 apps running in back ground and around 170-230 mb rom free.
In marvel 9, i have 9-10 apps running in back, n 210-270 mb ram free and it runs more smoothly then suppressed. No I am no one to criticise any ones hard work..but it is just my personal observation.

Battery drains faster on leaked JB Rom

I tried to install some leaked JB custom roms such as Ultimate, SVA, or Rocket rom. In my opinion, JB battery drains faster than ICS custom rom.
why? kernel issue?
I also tried Jelly bam and slim bean 4.1.2. Those roms have better battery life.
Screen on time is only 3 hours on JB custom rom as the same usage, and ICS or AOSP JB rom have more than 4 hours screen on.
I do not have other android devices. Basically Jelly bean is worse than ICS on battery life? How about galaxy nexus between JB and ICS?
I hope official Jelly bean update will be fixed this battery issue by Samsung.

i have xxlsa and 4 hrs of screen on time. it will take some time to settle down... also check for wakelocks and apps that drinks the juice
Most JB leaks have a media scanner issue with large folders, it keeps running in the background draining your battery at high CPU load
Try to go into Settings -- Applications -- running and stop media scanner and see if the problem resolves
if it did, download a free app from play store 'rescan media' to stop media scanner and enable it on demand.. However, new media (pics and music) will not appear on the gallery or the music player if u didn't run the media scanner first (Provided you have rescan media disabling media scanner)
Best of luck

Agreed.
Also look into disabling Google Now if you aren't using it. That's also a major cause of battery drainage. My battery life increased by a decent margin after I disabled media scan and google now!
Also disable location stuff like GPS and the other ones that help my battery a lot

I agree the battery drains faster with the JB leaks. Confirmed with every ROM I tested, however it's not that much compared to Samsung ICS ROMs. What really helped me is JuiceDefender Ultimate customizing the settings so it turns off the radios and limits the CPU clock when the screen is off, besides other things. But when you are actively using it, there's not much you can do.
try alliance beta 1.1 LSC it gives me 4.5 hrs on moderate use ...

[Solved]: Multimédia process is draining battery

Hi all,
I just want to know If somebody else is suffering the issue ?
To make it short, randomly this process is not stopping and running until my device is so hot that makes me aware about this issue.
Also by reading the stats of battery usage, this process is almost 1st and I am not a music listener on my normal daily usage (impossible at my work).
I have tried like everything I know:
Reboot
Kill process
...
Nothing really satisfying and do not know what is causing it ???
Any ideas around there ?

Multimedia process is 2nd place most of the time. and never i use multimedimedia file.
But i do around 18h of usage with 4h screen on.
So i think its a visualization bug because the battery life is pretty good.
Multimedia or media server ? If it is media server/scanner it's probably because of broken image file or music file ( if it is image the broken it won't show in the gallery and you'll see black pic instead). If you have some kind of music/video files you can check them for errors too. If the process is multimedia...
Could be caused by a MKV file stored in the external S.D. Card ?
As default Sony player didn't read it, it perhaps tries to create thumb...
Do you know a workaround to avoid this (if it is the cause) ?
BTW thanks for the hint

Is media server just how audio playback shows? I was just listening to audio all day, like about 7 hours. And I checked battery usage, and mediaserver was showing 70% usage. But the actual audio apps I was using didn't show at all. I thought that might have meant that media server was also how locally played media shows at it is the low level library for the actual playing.

[APP]MusicTimeOff- all android devices- TRY IT

Hello,
I have built a new application named MusicTimeOff. You can find it in this link
A big part of coding was done with my nexus 7.
The app stops the music after a certain period of time which use will define.
This idea came to me when I left my phone playing music at night and in the morning it was dead ( battery 0% ) so I thought a program to stop music will be useful. Furthermore , the other apps in the market is more complicated and some of them is paid, so I developed this app alone.
There are also other useful features.
Check it out , it worths the time.
Cool, I remember a time when I had Music Stopper on my Symbian v5 phone, so this has to be useful, thanks :good:
X2 tks
