Need Help; the aplication xxxx (process.com.moto) has stopped working - Motorola Droid 3

I bought a Moto Droid 3, the guy told me that is blocked (was from Verizon, and im from Argentina) to call and send sms/mms, but i could use Android apps with WiFi, the camera, etc...
I didnt want to call or send sms, i wanted to use it as a WiFi Tablet and the camera 1080p. So i thought great! So i bought it.
But i realized that the phone was rooted (i saw superuser app instaled).
I had some errors so i tryied to fix them clearing cache and dalvik cache in the safe mode but, i have THE SAME PROBLEMS in safe mode!
The problems are "The aplication XXXX (Process com.motorola.XXXX) has stopped unexpectedly. force close" with the following apps:
Calendar Storage (com.android.calendar)
com.motorola.service.main
Msg. SMS/MMS (com.motorola.conversations)
IM (com.motorola.im)
Email (com.motorola.email)
Contacts storage (com.motorola.contacts)
Twitter and some more...
Error in Google Apps when i download/update an aplication:
'"XXXX" could not be downloaded due to an error. (491).'
Also i cant download pictures from facebook for example.
Aplications running in Safe mode (also getting all the errors):
Data Manager Service
Settings
Voice Commands
Google Services
Sync Service
Files
Maps
Text Messaging
Swype
How can i fix the errors, help T_T

Google SBF for the Droid 3. There are two versions, 890 and 906, which you'll have to go to Settings, About and find out which version you are on.

anybody found a solution to this yet? still cant get it to work.

[Q] Everything force closes, can't call, can't text

So I've had a friend's old Droid for a few months, and it's worked alright for the most part, but the other day it just decided to completely screw up.
As soon as I boot up these guys force close:
Amazon mp3 (multiple times)
google services framework
messaging
bluetooth share
gmail
google.process.
calendar storage
Other symptoms:
- I can make and receive calls, but neither I nor the other person can hear anything.
- I can't receive texts. Handscent lets me see the list of conversations, but if I try to view one it force closes. The stock messaging app instantly force closes.
- The phone won't recognize the SD card
- Trying to see the call log results in a force close for android.process.acore
- On the stock power management widget, the GPS button and the screen brightness button don't do anything. They highlight the borders like they're being pressed but the icon doesn't change... the rest of the buttons seem to work fine.
- I can change the screen brightness using the Quick Setting app, but as soon as I go to the home screen it goes back to full brightness.
- If I turn on wi-fi, it immediately turns back off again.
I've tried clearing the data and caches for Calendar, Calendar Storage, Contacts, Contacts storage, Gmail, and Google Services Framework multiple times, but it all seems to get reset upon rebooting, even if I turn off the auto-sync before I reboot, which also gets reset to on upon rebooting.
Android version 2.2.3
Baseband version C_01.43.01P
Kernel version
2.6.32.9-g68eeef5
[email protected] #1
Build number FRK76
Not rooted. I wouldn't mind starting over or maybe rooting, if only to get rid of the bloatware and get wireless tethering... I just want to save a bunch of texts I haven't backed up with Handscent. Oh, and that app will let me try to log in, but it says my login details are incorrect even though I can log in on their website.
Anyway, I'm beginning to think I have a trojan and some government is tracking me with undisableable GPS or my phone has been haunted.
Oh, and I might add, I didn't install any new apps or even change any settings before this started happening. Any thoughts?
I also listed which apps work or don't work, if that helps...
Doesn't work (Force closes):
AK notepad
Alarm clock xtreme free
Amazon mp3
browser
calendar
capital one
chargebar
digital clock widget
draw free (doesn't say force close, just closes)
dropbox
Facebook
Gmail
Goggles - took a while authenticating then force closed
Handscent - can see the message list but force closes on looking at one of them
messaging
play store - seems to force close after it accesses my credentials
Talk - doesn't ever sign in
Voice dialer - immediately says "please try again. You can also try restarting your phone."
Youtube - "There was a problem with the network response."
Works:
calculator
camera [[works but no sd card recognized]]
clock
car home
contacts
Easytether
Gallery
Gasbuddy
Gpad
Maps
Market
music [[works - doesn't seem to play anything though]]
news & weather [[works, but can't get any weather info]]
OI file manager
Quick settings
Stopwatch & Timer
Tweetdeck - I can tweet from it, force closes sometimes though. (Didn't before)
Voice recorder
Also, all the data for contact storage, calendar etc. reappears after I reboot the phone, even when my number has been programmed onto a different phone.
Reflash
Did you try reflashing your droid?
No, and I'm confident that would fix it, but that would erase the texts that I want to save.
Look for com.zegoggles.smssync in the Market, it backs up messages and call logs using your Google account. Once you're done, reflash (CM6 works great in Droid and Milestone), then reinstall the app and restore your messages. Good luck!

[Q] Network Error when trying to Tie contacts to "Ok Google"

My problem:
Whenever I use "Ok Google" or Moto's version of the same I get this pop-up saying
"To improve contact recognition, Google needs to use your device contacts."
when you press continue i get the error...
"Network error. Check your network connections and try again."
This happens no matter who i try to call or text. It even happens when I speak the entire phone number, and not just a name.
So, some background
I just got a Moto X 2nd gen. It immediately started updating to Lollipop (which was cool) so i don't know if this was an issue before.
I am on verizon.
I am using a stock ROM.
I have tried this on both mobile data and wifi.
I have immediatly after tried connecting to google play, gmail, random internet and they all work.
Other voice searches work. I can get "Ok Google" to navigate, open web pages, get weather, ect...
Searching online...
Reset Cache on Google Contact Sync app
Reset Cache on Google Now Launcher app
Reset Cache on Google Launcher Config app
Reset Cache on Google App
I have already reset phone once.
Update.
When I reset and don't tie into google account it works. Once I tie into a Google account to get contacts, it stops working. I think it is tied to the "google app" app. Turns out you can not roll the "google app" back to factory setting. Clearing its cache dose not work.
I had a similar issue with Google Now when I got the new Moto.
Apps > google settings ? search & now > now cards > delete card preferences
that took care of the that same error message for me.
You are the smartest man ever. Didn't occur to me that it would be the cards. Fixed.

Can't send SMS after Android 10 update

Hello,
I have an unrooted, p30 pro Canadian model vog-l04. I just got the automatic update to Android 10 but now I am unable to send SMS messages. I can receive them fine but can't send. I have tried everything in the list below. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Cleared the system cache in recovery mode
Checked SIM card
Cleared network configuration (reset network settings)
Force closed messaging app
Cleared messaging app cache.
Uninstalled messaging app updates
Updated messaging app
Rebooted
Edited contact phone numbers
Confirm Message Center Number is correct
Checked voice calling and mobile data
Deleted old messages conversations
Tried sending from different SMS apps.
I really don't want to do a factory reset if I can help it! Is there anything else I can try?
Thank you!

Honestly, although you don't want to, after a major OS upgrade a factory reset is always advised, a vast majority of the time it leaves behind rubbish files which cause inexplicable problems like this one that just cannot be fixed any other way.
The only other thing I can think (but doubt) that occasionally happens upgrading to 10, is the APN settings password needs fixing, but that usually causes a no data problem rather than SMS, but worth a look
Thanks for your reply. For anyone else who has this problem, I managed to fix it without a factory reset, thanks to this post here. It's as simple as downloading huawei backup from the play store, which I think I had previously removed. SMS now works fine

Thanks so much - I had tried what I thought was everything to fix this!!! Reinstalling Huawei Backup did indeed instantly fix it.

Question Origin OS Ocean Google Messages

I have debloated my phone and replaced the Chinese apps with Google apps. Notifications work without any problem. I knew going into this that I wouldn't be able to use Android Auto, Google Backup, and 'Hi Google' voice activation for Google Assistant, but I've run into a snag with the Google/Android Messages app. I can send and receive text messages, but when I try to send a picture it just says "sending" and I eventually get a system notification that my message could not be sent. This happens whether I have RCS Chat enabled or turned off in the Google Messages app settings. In both the Google Messages settings and my Vivo system settings I have enabled "allow MMS messages". I know that MMS uses Mobile Data only, so I tried sending a picture with the phone's WiFi turned off thinking the phone was trying to send the pictures by WiFi rather than Mobile Data, but they still won't send. I have installed an uninstalled the app, gone into Recovery Mode and cleared the cache partition, but the problem persists. If I reinstall the default Vivo Messages app the pictures send instantly. Can anyone think of a reason why I can send SMS but not MMS in Google Messages?

Hi Craig. You know that I face the same problem. One of my friend is working in Vivo France. I contacted Vivo China to expose the problem with google message. They find something and they told him that they are going to push an update soon with a patch for google message. ✌✌✌✌✌✌
Thank you for staying on top of this!

Missing SMS/MMS Still There?

My girlfriend's Note 9 suddenly lost all of its SMS/MMS in the Samsung Messaging app.
Things I have tried:
1) Rebooted phone
2) Booted in safe mode
3) Wipe cache
4) Wiped the cache of the Messaging App
5) Checked that her Messaging app uses almost 400MB of storage, while my Note 9 which hasn't lost its messaging uses about 200MB, which tells me most likely all her messages are still there.
6) Tried to use SMS/Backup Restore app but it only sees the few new messages that have shown up since.
7) Tried to use Smart Switch to migrate the messages to a newer phone and also tried to use a Google Pixel 7 to migrate the data but it will only migrate the data since the messages went missing.
The folder where the data is stored which I believe is "/data/user_de/0/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db" is "permission denied" when I try ADB because her phone is not rooted and apparently a T-mobile Note 9 cannot be rooted. Is there any way to get to this data?
Any other ideas? She is desperate to get the messages back because there are memories of loved ones that have passed away etc. I'm open to suggestions, hiring someone that can help me retrieve them (or a donation to your fav charity?), etc.
Thanks in advance!
