Is there any Android 4.0 (Or higher) roms for Nexus One that's any good? I've heard that there maybe would be a new Cyanogenmod sometime soon, but I couldn't find anyone confirming this. So I was wondering if there was any of you guys on XDA that had made such rom? Sorry for being a n00b. Rooted my first phone a couple of days ago. It was the HTC Tattoo. Now I use the Nexus One with the newest Cyanogenmod...

Hi guys,
I was wondering - There are a lot of builds of the Android 2.3.3 for other devices. When do you think we will see a Gingerbread rom for the LG ? Could some devs look into the 2.3.3 and see if specific things like Camera, Wifi, bluetooth etc could be directly implemented? I know work like this is going on for other devices..
Hey,
the dev team behind cyanogen mod 7 is working on a port for the LG optimus 2X. CyanogenMod 7 is an modified Rom from AOSP Gingerbread 2.3.3. In the next few week you can be sure that you will get a Gingerbread Rom.
Today i have read that LG will release an update to 2.3.3 this april. 2 Weeks after OTA 2.3.3 you will se some amazing stuff on like custom roms on 2.3.3....
Only be in patience dude ;-)
sry for my bad english :-(

Hehe, thanx - But..
Look at my signature m8 - I have a HTC Desire with Android 2.3.3 on it and i know of the changes - I wont have Android 2.3.3 on my device, just for the version - I want a rom that works
On the HTC Desire i recommend you MIUI 1.4.1 and CyanogenMod RC4. Both are very stable and based on 2.3.3.
Any chance to see the miui Rom on our LG?

This is good news! So the update will finally come to optimus x2. Is it possible to update the phone using ..say Paul's rom or do you have to revert the phone back to stock for update to work?

MIUI team is already working on it. See the CM7 porting thread in this forum for news on these two roms.

A random user who checks often this board and tries to help when possible. Due to my limited knowledge (I haven't received my 2x yet) I never post anything, this time I tried to be helpful.
Can't figure out why you asked though.
Thx for your answer dude!

Some people just shouldnt be allowed to post in here, but hey, just ignore it.. I have been following the Android development since almost day one, and it seems that the devs on other roms/devices are a little more experienced in the coded stuff than the ones yet to play with the Optimus 2x(No offence to any1 i hope), but i would like to know what exact issues there are, related to modding the current 2.3.3 builds for the Optimus. If anyone knows ?
ewm how do i put this ... screenshots or it didnt happen anyone???

Yeah, I think drivers as well. Now that LG has released their p990 source as well it shouldn't be too long until the LG 2.2 drivers have been ported to 2.3... I hope.
Is this update only specifically for the Nexus S? Will the Nexus One receive this update?
The CM team already merged it a couple of days ago.

Are you on Stock ROM? If your N1 was originally supplied by Google they might OTA 2.3.5. If the phone was bought from a carrier you will be at their mercy!
As mentioned above, CM Nighlies are now running on this version.
But I read that the update is an exclusive for the Nexus S! It can also be mounted on the N1?
I checked the AOSP repo, and 2.3.5 is there for the N1 branch. Would imagine an OTA would be coming soon. Looked like someone in the dev forum made a ROM based on 2.3.5 already.

I believe 143 was the first...
If this update will be rolled out for N1 then what will be the changes? Has anyone noted anything significant on latest CM7 Nightlies ?

What issue are you having with battery life? I'm on Project X and have found the battery life so much better than almost any other rom I've used. Certainly better than the standard rom, much better.

Hi folks,
what's currently the best ROM to use PDroid on the Nexus 7?
I'd prefer an experience as close to a stock ROM as possible. It seems that 4.2.1 ROMs are out (not supported by the AutoPatcher), and I've tried to patch a few of the 4.2 ROMs floating around and haven't had much success either. Who is currently running PDroid and what ROM did you use as a base?

AFAIK opensensation2 has pdroid installed
You haven't had much success because development was dropped a long time ago. It only supports gingerbread.... sorry bud. I loved pdroid too

I should have clarified that I'm using PDroid 2.0, which is under active development for Jelly Bean.
Thanks for the tip regarding OpenSensation. For the time being I now patched a vanilla 4.1.2 AOSP build (4.2.1 is being worked on). Will look at OpenSensation these days.

Well I don't have a Sensation... and OpenSensation for the Nexus seems to be pretty much in beta... not to mention that the OpenSensation developer has been warning people that his server is compromised and that they shouldn't download anything (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=35428325&postcount=9591), so I'll be taking my time with this.

I've tried searching the forums and such for information but stock android and aosp returns so many results that aren't relevant so I figured I'd just quickly ask here:
Is there a stock rom for the HTC one yet? Like just stock 4.2.2 android?
If not, are there plans for one or is there a limitation of some sort that would prevent it?
Thanks much.
There's stock roms for 4.1.2 but htc has not released 4.2.2 yet

An early alpha version is out if you are into that, although most of the stuff aren't working.
Thanks for the replies. I'm pining for my Nexus cause I miss my stock 4.2.2. I'll hold out a bit and wait for an AOSP rom. This phone is just too gorgeous.
