Value of tab today? - Galaxy Tab Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

What is the price of a secondhand going for now? Wondering how much cash i can get out of mine. Almost perfect condition, apart from a chip at the bottom.
Cheers.

Cheers! Bit strange that it costs as much a brand new Nexus 7? Any idea why?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2

Priceless in my view... GTP1000 still out rocks a Nexus 7, mainly due to the 3G.

I am quite surprised how much it values. There are far superior tab on the market for about the same price.
Also who wants a Tablet that officially support just 2.3.x when there are others that run JB.
My Galaxy Tab piled dust until I decided to root it and install a custom rom; before that it was almost useless.

Why would the Galaxy tab on GB 2.3.x be useless? I have 2 Galaxy tabs, one of them is still on GB, the other is on cm 10.1. Aside from the interface look, I fail to see, what the tab on ICS does that the TAB on GB doesn't.

The ford ka do the same thing like a bmw, but slower.

Really? Doesn't sound fair given that I only paid $299AU for a new one a year ago (3G model)

In US it costs anywhere from $100-$180 with 3G. The value hold mainly due to 3g network connection.

Guessing the value has dropped even more now that the iPad mini is here
Should have sold it earlier
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2

In the Netherlands they are sold for about 150-200 euro on marketplace(dutch ebay) with 3G
Verstuurd van mijn MK808 met Tapatalk

Actually , I suspect how this tab can still have that high of prices.
As the tab is not good at all.(Lack of ram and speed)
No matter it can perform better sound than GT 7.7 and so on .
But definitely it should not stand on the same level with Nexus 7.
Although 3G is absent in Nexus 7, I should better buy GT 2.0 with this tab present prices

Galaxy SII • Stock XWLSN • Dorimanx Kernel

This device is performing well yet! Actually new devices are not overperforming.

[Q] Might swap Galaxy S2 for Atrix HD

So I was considering swapping my AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 i777 for an Atrix HD. I got a guy who will do a trade. What do you guys think? Would this be considered an "upgrade" as far as performance?

Yeah I just read the thread about upgrading the battery. Seems simple enough. I am convinced. Swapping on Friday.
Where could I find this thread?

Still worth buying or aged?

Looking to buy a new phone soon, and just wanted your views on whether this phone has gone aged.

If your price range allows I would invest in an s2 otherwise this is still a highly supported phone

In my opinion it's worth buying

You could also consider the i9001 (Galaxy S Plus), which looks exactly the same as the i9000 but has quite different hardware. At least on paper it's quite a bit better and not nearly as expensive as an SII. I've got one of those and am really happy with it
Yes but the i9001 only has slightly faster CPU and slower graphics you can easily set the i9000 to the same clock speed as the i9001

I asked around on the nexus s forums and they told me not to buy. They say its showing its age.
I'm looking at Xperia S now. Probably gonna buy it.

A rooted Galaxy S I9000 is still pretty good, but if you can afford it I recommend you the Xiaomi MI-2.
I personally think that the i9000 is a great phone. It was my first Galaxy class and is still with me
I rooted the phone and switched over to running JellyBean (SlimRom version) and think it is just great. I do prefer the S2 just because it is that much faster, but finding it hard to part with my trusty original
Good all round phone but a little slow on some of the major games (I believe - though cannot vouch for that)

What phone compliments the nexus 7

Currently using an iPhone 4s alongside my nexus 7, OK its nice to have best of both world type devices, but I would like to use my nexus to be able to use mighty text type apps so I think its time to grab another android phone, got an option locally a guy wants to swap his galaxy note, but I'm thinking this is pretty close in size, what would you recommend?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Galaxy Nexus all the way. The Nexus 4 is too fragile and not worth the hassle in my opinion. Sure it has a quad core processor and 2Gb of RAM, but honestly.. who uses that on a phone.
I would recommend the HTC One X, but seriously... After some of the stuff HTC have been doing nowadays, I struggle to recommend HTC.
I have an original GNote and can't imagine having any thing else. There is a bigger difference in size then you would think.
And remember "When you go Note, 4 inches is a joke".

I am finding N4 compliments N7 greatly. Basically you get some great raw power on both devices, but the tegra in the N7 give way for different, but complimentary usage. Tegra exclusive games run with great power, while N4 runs non tegra with even greater power.
Maybe it was a design decision so that both devices have equal usage. XD
Well screen size is also a factor. I am not so interested in watching video on the N4. Still I find myself using both devices at once a lot. N7 definitely being the couch/bed lazy movie viewing device.

Wich is the best tablet to use with an HTC one?

My friends, I'm thinking that I really need a tablet to complement my SGN2. I don't want to close any option before I hear from you. I'm an advance user, and I'm looking for something that really gives me more that my sgn2. I used to have an iPad I sold it because only my children were using it to play around, but since the anounncement that office 365 was out in USA, I'm thinking to get me an iPad mini. Another choice might be an w8 tablet, since I want it only to get my job done (lots of reports and presentation, microsoft dominates my working environment). I was thinking also to let go my SGN2, get an HTC one and buy a note 10'. What do you think?? Please help me out here.

Or wait a month or two for a probable announcement of the next Nexus 7 Unless you need something bigger in which case a new Nexus 10 should make it's way to announcement soon as well~
wait for the new N7 or N10
if you're getting an android tablet might aswell be a nexus

But what do you think of the other tablets?, I want it to use it on my job, advance tools for powerpoint and advance tools for excell... on Android I can't seems to find somethingh as powerfull as the office suite.
I've allready have an apple account with several software bought, maybe w8 is a good choice but it's a new system and just to have to buy all over again just doesn't seems right.

Well it's weird then that you're asking on here what NON-Android/HTC device to get considering you're already leaning way towards an Apple device anyway for the above stated reasons

It's a work based tablet. You shouldn't be buying a tablet for work though
I am using galaxy note 8.0 and HTC one. You just can't get wrong with the combination.
I used S4 which I think was really laggy and half of the memory was taken by Samsung apps.HTC one get the dev edition from HTC USA online store.

Sure, I'll use it only when I feel creative. I also have an Lenovo X220 Tablet and is really to big and heavy to carry arround. That's my main working device, but on the go, sometimes y feell that my SGN2 just doesn't help me all the way. I'll take a look at that Dell. thank you!!
