[Q] Samsung Widgets Missing After Froyo Upadate

Hi everyone!!
I have the Galaxy S since last couple of days, then I updated the firmware via Samsung Kies to froyo and when I turn it on, the Samsung Widgets option is missing;
I have looked all over the web for the last few hours , couldn't find anything about it .
Did anyone have had this problem before?
Can anyone help...

I am getting a Nexus One soon, i Luv Android, but im new 2 this forum & iv had but never activated an Android phone... Even tho, i kno so much about phones, Android, & all types of stuff, its ridiculous... I dont even kno if this is the rite part of the forum 2 ask this but anyway: On the Nexus One i wanna put the Desire HD rom on it but i also want 720p HD video recording, even tho its on another rom, can i still hav it with the Desire HD rom over top of it, or something? Also I wuz wonderin since it has quick boot, still i wuz wantin 2 put a quick little custom pic rite there, possible? Is there a way to get the Locations app on the N1? Last question: Wut do i hav 2 do 2 get better or\and louder sound out of the speaker? Mod the speaker, hack it, or use Desire speaker, which sum1 pointed out that, they both hav same form factor... I kno its a lot but, if sum1 could plz help me, id b so greatful...

No, you can't "mix ROMs". Not at that level.
It doesn't have "quick boot", it has "quick resume from hibernation". Different things. Nice feature, completely useless for anyone but frequent fliers.
Look for "custom bootanimation", and you'll get the next answer.
If Locations app is ported to Desire HD ROM - you'll have it, if not - not.
You can't get the speaker do more than it does.
Proper English would have gotten you way more answers, not only in this forum, but generally. It's painful to read such post. And I'm not a native English speaker.

Haha yeah no doubt eh... Were you typing this on an old nokia with T9 in a blizzard... because if so I'd completely understand. I guess xda supports old brick phones now...

Launcher pro

Sorry if this is off topic. I just recently bought my galaxy tab and purchased launcher pro through market place but havent recieved no key to activate it. Is there a step that I am missing here please help im a noob to andriod.

you just need to restart launcher pro after buying the unlock key

Yeah... You'll find with Launcher Pro that after installing most things you will need to restart it before they show up in the app drawer. Just hit Menu/Preferences/Restart Launcher Pro.

Wow thanks guys this tab is amazing. Im acrually a windows phone fanboy but this tab is really mking me want an andriod phone. One more question how would I be able to text I read some where that you can text and call and on my sprint statement it does say unlimited texting. Actually I can text my self but it wont let me respond to the text

What kind of tab do you have, check the dev section on how you can enable calls/text.
That feature comes standard on euro gsm tabs

I don't have much experience with the sprint devices, but look in the Dev section there's a couple roms you can try

Home button to get to the home screen during a call, then you should be able to access any app on the phone/tab including sms.

Hi can someone please please help me.

Hi I question this question on a other website but got no answer im hoping to get one here. I have TMO galaxy tab that I flash the Euro Firmware everything works fine but when I click on web it keeps taken me to my.t-moblie.com but when I try to go to a other website it wont let me and takes me right back to my t-moblie is there something wrong? Also is there a way I can get 3g back on my tab? Also if I get Gingerbread Upgrade would it ease everything I did and would it unlock my tab? I'm very sorry for all these questions thanks. for any help.I also can't go to the web when I put my sim card from my cell phone in my tab but when I put my sim that came with the tab the internet works fine runs slow. Is there anything I can do about this? thanks

Same thing happened to me so i remove my data plan: -) Now i am enjoying on my wifi.
Now i think u can make it work by flashing a new rom on it. try overcome jupiter rom.
Just dig into forum more there are more topic on this.

[Q] Vibrate on answer

I've been using htc for the last 7 yrs, I tried Sony Tab S more than a year ago after that I decided to make.believe. So I got my Xperia Z 2 days ago, by prr-ordering from Sony Dealer
back to the topic, on my (android) htc devices I used to have this feature, the phone vibrates when the other party answers my outgoing call, so I don't have to hold the phone next to my ears while waiting for the call to be answered. it is extremely important for those who live a busy life like my little self
any app or trick to do it on XZ?

Wouldn't you notice when the phone stops going "beeeeep-beeeep"?
You can hear when someone picks up.
But a swift google told me.

I can't hear the beeep beeep as the phone is far away from my ears and sometimes on the desk (the whole idea is not to hold the phone near your ears while waiting for the answer)
try it, you wont be able to live without it the feature I mean
I tried the above and couple of others from the market, none is working, any other suggestions

I read about modifying phone.apk on galaxy note 2 as this feature is not possible by just installing an app from the market
Can we do the same, it was 2 lines added to the phone.apk?
Can I use the gn2 phone.apk?
