[SOLVED] [Q] Total amount of ram - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Looking the current apps running I can see the following:
289 MB using
354 MB free
Altogether 643 MB. Assumed that the phone has 1 GB of ram. ¿Where is the rest?

when you use nbsplit and nbmerge you enter in a data value where you want the split to occur. On the touch pro 2 im not sure what it is. On the original touch pro it was the same as kaiser so it would have looked something like this.
nbsplit -kaiser windows.nb
** kaiser = 0x800 (data value) **
so on the touch pro 2 i tried that but when i start to rebuild the rom i get this error message.
Maximum ROM size (0x8000000) reached, aborting!
so my guess is that the data value is different. Anyone knows the answer?
The values are the same as Kaiser/Raphael/etc. (0x800 0x8 iirc)
The error you got is due to the imgfsfromdump.exe version you are using, it has an internal limit of 128MB set. The source code is available and it has been recompiled to increase the limit - look for a recompiled copy of it. I believe one comes with Ervius Visual Kitchen.

Please Help with Topaz Memory management / Memory Leak !!

Hi,
Got a Branded HTC Touch Diamond 2 (aka Topaz) from SFR (Vodafone) France upgraded to 6.5 official ROM.
Versions are as follow :
ROM Version 2.16.163.3 (67041) FRE
Windows CE 5.2.21854 Build 21864.5.0.80
Total Memory 185.92MB
Manila Sense version 2.1.19192532.5
So System about tab shows 185,92MB total memory. (thought it was much more than that but, let's assume a certain amount of memory is reserved for manila or whatever ..)
After a soft reset, HTC task manager shows approx 50% Used memory.
At the end of a day use, used memory grows to 90% !!! EVEN WITH ALL PROGRAMS CLOSED.
And there is no way to recover memory (using cleanram, oxio or whatever).
Now what I don't understand :
* gwes.exe seems to be the culprit as its memory grows very high (more than 34MB) but how can a standard winmo 6.5 process can have a memory leak ???
* Now the funny part, taking all processes shows in Fdcoft task Manager (the best ever), and summing all process used memory, I have the following :
Process Name Memory
gwes.exe 30594
cprog.exe 7141
filesys.exe 5404
device.exe 4581
Pocketwit.exe 4222
Opera9.exe 2753
manila.exe 2070
services.exe 1788
shell32.exe 1719
Audiomanager_eng 842
tmail.exe 802
PhonelogService.exe 444
lumos.exe 333
connmgr.exe 115
TaskMgr.exe 114
AlbumSearcher.exe 63
ResInfo.exe 56
batti.exe 4
SAPSettings.exe 3
MFDownload.exe 3
NK.EXE 1
TOTAL 63052
Taking the total memory (186) minus the memory used, we have
186-63 = 123
So I should have 123MB free and looking at free memory amout in Task Manager or ResInfo, I have only 24MB FREE !!!!!!!!!!!!!
My Question, where are the missing 100MB ???????????
Somebody, please Help !!!!
Thanks a lot !!
Thomas

Just I want to ask - I can not understand that he had a memory: when I go to the section of memory shows me what is inside. memory - all of it occupied 0.98 761 MB, and 131 MB is available. And there is also a built-in memory: only 13.44 GB, employing small and loosely 13.35 GB. The question itself: it is that one section holding the android and the other the rest of the place? Kernel version, camera2 API and ARM architecture

Hi, I'd like to know what title says: Kernel version (in about phone), if this device supports camera2 API by default and whether it is armeabi-v7a or arm64-v8a. Thanks in advance
Kernel: 4.4.21
Camera2: Yes. This phone has a Hexagon 642 DSP and a Sectra 160 ISP. Link.
ARM: armv8 (64-bit CPU)
Check on Geekbench or CPU-Z, this phone actually uses 64-bit Android.
You can use the google camera port

I don't remember the exact size, but it's right around half of the 32GB. I think it was right around 15-16 GB usable?
The system takes up 13.1 GB, and "OTHER" is another 2.7 GB.

? I hope I can get the 64gb version, 16 GB is too little. In my 32GB Moto Z play I can use 24GB.

Yeah I wasn't super impressed with almost exactly half of the storage being used for the system. OTOH, you do get a microSD card slot, and considering that a 128GB U3 microSD card is like $45, I'm not that worried.
