I dont see the "star_led" option anywhere when i open rootdim it asks for superuser and gets granted... then i see a slider bar that changes brightness of screen, then other lights has 4 options button-backlight camera:flash0 camera:flash1 and spotlight. I asume that button-backlight is the option to turn off the backlight on my capacative buttons but when i click that i get a trigger menu and i haven't been able to figure out how to use it properly, any help would be appreciated. my phone is lg p930 running cm10

You won't see the star_led option on a Nitro HD/Optimus LTE. I suggest you ask in the P930 forum or send the developer of rootdim a support request as this forum is for discussion on the P990

How would i go about locating the developer of rootdim to contact them?
also does rootdim settings stick after reboot? if not then i wouldn't bother i already have a way to turn the lights off it just doesn't stick after reboot. in order to turn them off i'm using the app "keyboard backlight controller" except like i said the settings dont stick after reboot. the reason i want them off is i had to replace my digitizer and the new digitizers lights are too bright. they drive me crazy and i obviously dont need lights to tell me where the back/home/menu buttons are.

Yeah, Ive had it on my deodexed .621/.605 rooted droid x for about 6 hrs now, its running smooth and in all honesty its the best ROM Ive ever used as far a WIFI connection goes. Every one I know that has the OG droid X had WiFi prob's including me, it always dropped you for no reason or on some Roms it wouldn't connect at all but I haven't dropped once since Ive been running this. I dont know what Kiladar did to this but whatever it is my WiFi is scared to break connection. :goodThanks BTW Kiladar):good:
As far as the rest of the Rom, it runs smooth and everything Ive opened or tried is working like a charm, the only thing that ive run across that doesnt work so good is the themes from theme chooser. It has a problem resizing the theme for my screen size but I dont think thats the Roms fault. You can still use them but not all of them will fit correctly (not so bad if you dont get the ones with writing on the background) I will see about getting you some screen shots when I have access to a camera. my GF is out of town at the moment and I dont have a way to take any pics but maybe ill try the mirror method and see if that comes out clear enough.
If you hold the power button you can take a screenshot from there just an fyi

Awesome! Thank you. Love it, works great. Hope to see 4.1
Anyone have a mirror or a link to something other than 4shared?
Just coming back to dx. This ROM is awesome. No hangs, reboots, or general bugs. I've had the camera crash when I locked the screen with it running, but it immediately started back up. Could never have done that without a reboot on other ROMs.

[MOD] Camera during call and shutter sound on/off Enabled
Very easy mod to do just make sure your rooted and have root explorer on your phone.
Go to root explorer scroll down to system click on it scroll to CSC click on it now scroll down to Feature XML. Open it in text editor. Look for <CscFeature_Camera_ShutterSoundMenu>True</CscFeature change the text from false to true that will open the option in the camera so that you can turn the sound on and off. Now look for <CscFeature_Camera_EnableCameraDuringCall>True</CscFeature change the text from false to true. Take note to the pic below. Once you do that back out and save than reboot your phone and you're all set.
I love the 90s. Good times.

The camera hacks work. Re-verify the file was in fact edited and turn off and on completely.
Another note, there are settings for autocorrection in the SIP keyboard in the feature xml. But they dont do anything if changed except to enable the option in keyboard settings. Wonder if its disabled in the keyboard app itself.

Knock on yes. Knock off normally has it set for status bar on aosp because it does not have the frame work to knock off anywhere.
I use apex launcher and set a double tap home gesture to use screen off and lock from the play store.
And it works the same way as a stock ROM would. But it won't work on the lock screen.
So ROMs offer a setting for lockscreen knock off

Build seems to be running great. Tons of options.
Pretty excited you ported this for us. Not quite sure about the Netflix deal though tried three 3.7.x versions, and tried 3.4.0 and none would work. If anyone knows of an exact version that works without using xposed, hook me up.
Other than that, beautiful ROM.
