Hi everybody, i'm new in this forum, but not in android world. First, sorry for my english Secondo, I would ask you some questions (i don't know if this is the right section).
I don't have a custom rom, i've the stock one. I'm waiting the android scream v2...so, i mount some scripts in my device: the last kernel of rafael baugis, adrenaline engine 4.4 and v6 supercharger. until i've installed adrenaline engine everything ok, but after no. the device is slow. I think that is the v6. Do you know any way to unistall this script? i've read the thread of kernel, and when app have forced close i must wipe cache and after, if problem persist, wipe data/ cache. I tried to do it, but i'm failed, i've wipe cache partition and i had to flash original rom with odin. Can you tell me the right way to wipe? thanks a lot guys
Run the V6 Supercharge script via SManager or similar, and type the number that corresponds to "UnSupercharge".
I've installed last version of rafael baugis's kernel and adrenaline engine 4.4, but when i try to install V6_SuperCharger i had some problems : when i finished i did super clean ad reboot but the cell blocked in a black rectangular screen. So i leave battery, and cell reboot normally. Repet, and i arrived at 100%SuperCharged. Ok, it's working, but apps and generally are slower...someone have same problem?
I've chosen the option everybody panic for unstable kernel and installed al tweaks. I don't know what 's the problem.

I am trying to update my kernal. After installing various zip packages my phone will enter into a boot loop, return a black screen after the first LG logo or freeze during the animated boot logo.
I have tried all different versions of ironkrnl and Vadonka's kernals.
I'm running a clean install of Temaseks CM7 KANG 33 and using clockworkmod recovery version 5.0.2.7-RC2 for internal memory card.
Am I missing a vital step? What is the correct sequence to install a new kernal?
Thanks.

Check the installation guide in those threads....should be some wipe which is missed....Dalvik wipe (inside the Advanced menu in CWM recovery mode)usually the reason.
if you have the connection issues....check the BB and RIL combo....CM7 is with 218BB and check for the relevant RIL
I've tried again wiping the Dalvik cache as you suggested. I received a notification that there was no sd-ext path.
Now the phone hangs at the second LG logo each time. I checked through the kernal threads and there are no specific instructions other than installing from the zip files via CWM recovery.
Vadonka's script includes a cache wipe.
I'm stuck for ideas.
Strange... This problem occurred to me too, but after I used Temasek's P204-28 KANG the problem disappeared. So you might want to try that

EXT 3 or 4 partitions?or re-flash the ROM once again with wipes and then power off instead of reboot....then after a while retart and see....
So it usually happens to me when I install a rom and immediately the kernel; before it, you must reboot. Another possibility is that you have the wrong file system or the kernel is not supported by your ROM

I tried with CM7 204-28. It went into another boot loop, however the system did start up completely. Then it would randomly reboot every 30s to a minute.
Tried rebooting after a fresh install of CM7 (performed a factory reset/wipe). Then installing the kernal later ... froze at the second LG logo again.
As far as I am aware both the ironkrnl and Vadonka's kernal support CM7.
I'll contact them to make sure. Thanks for the help so far on this.

Hi
i am having issues...
ok so i had the latest JW4 installed rooted and all... so i use the ext4 and convert it to ext4, boot into cwm, clear cache, dalvik, data etc etc...
then i install aokp in cwm, it installs fine, same with gapps... then when i go to reboot a splash screen comes up with glitch kernel v14 ? then boot loops over and over and over...
what the hell am i doing wrong here.... im not new to this... i load ROMs like no tmw on my previous atrix, sgs2, now nexus... cannot get aokp on this i9000 to save my life...
any thoughts would be great...
Install the latest cm9 nightly first frm here... use the same process... let the phone boot once... then get into recovery and try aokp...
And i suggest u leave the phone on rfs... there is basically no need for ext4...
Hi there, as stated ICS RR V10 is installed with notecore v14 std kernel, the system crashed after trying to connect to the bluetooth headset: the screen switched to full brightness and because nothing was responding i pulled the battery. Since then no boot was sucessful (only until the android logo), cwm (5.5.0.4) was kind of slow when i booted into recovery, cache and dalvik cache got wiped - the flash of RR v10 itself was successful again but still the system doesn't boot (same behaviour, back get's prettry warm).
Before i do something stupid, i ask you guys what to do next:
-flash abyss 4.2 and try flashing again? ( + full wipe ?)
-flash notecore v14 and flash again?
Thanks for your input.

No need to flash Abyss kernel, you are already on safe kernel, try flashing some different kernel, Speedmod or different version of STD Notecore.
If that too doesn't help flash rom again.
its issue with your kernel, Notecore version 14. fix is coming, in meanwhile try speedmod indeed.

thanks for the input: tried notecore 13 std and speedcore k3-13 separatly, installed the rom and kernel again, situation didn't change, still hanging at the kernels boot animation (android/samsung logo + no sound ?)
out of despair i just redownload rr v10 and give the new file a shot.

Now, do not try anything, just download pre-rooted GB rom from dr.ketan's thread and flash using pc odin.

ok then I dont know, how a system crash is preventing bootup. Others had issue on v14. Maybe instal was not vlean to start with. Maybe emmc is corrupt, many maybes.
first, on safe kernel wipe cache and dalvik cache. Also fix permissions, Reboot. Fixed it? No continue:
perhaps starting new, cleanly could solve it. Like above you can start from gb, Just to check you dont get stuck at flashing it.
or you can start from save kernel recovery, On notecore or on speedmod. The install of rocketrom went good first time right? if not, then redownload rocketrom as instal file could be corrupt. Check md5s if it doesnt install.
You can format system from mounts, then data from mounts, then wipe cache and dalvik. Then install rocketrom, then instal kernel of choice, wipe cache and dalvik for fun again and reboot. All of course from safe kernel kernel recovery.
If this didnt fix it, start new from pc odin and flashing a gb rom. For this to succesfully boot, it maybe needed to format system/data before flashing from pc.

solved (partly - data lost)
problem got solved by installing the pre-rooted gb rom (dr. ketan) via odin 1.85, afterwards i installed abyss 4.2 (probably not necessary), rebooted into recovery (advanced), wiped cache data and dalvik and installed rr v10 again. Of course i lost all data, but at least the phone is up and running again.
thanks to dr. ketan for his effort and jeetu1981 for personal help

please help me!!
i think that the problem in zeusteawker but i not sure.
thank you very much to all answers.
Needed more info, but it seems you're using a GB kernel on a ICS/JB Rom, as usual try 3 wipes before flashing
what is mean "try 3 wipes before flash" ?
i make one full wipe and than i install a new ics rom and then kernel of ics ( i install [ZeroGravityKernel v 1.0)..

You cant use a GB kernel on ICS Well I dont really know, what the problem is, but please try to wipe data, cache and in advanced wipe dalwik cache. Then flash the ROM and try again. Maybe use my ROM, since it is stock with CWM support. zerogravity has got OC and UV and those two features may cause issues.
But I've never seen a battery getting to cool Are you sure it says LOW? And not high?
Hello, can some one help me with this issue please, this has never happened to me before, I really don't know what is wrong or how to fix it. I want to try out TheWhisp's CM10 rom on my S6500D, I follow instructions that few ppl posted in the original thread of the rom.
Download rom
Go to squadzone CWM
Wipe data
Install zip
Reboot
I follow that tutorial, I download latest 13.2 update/build or w/e, I have squadzone's 5.0.2.8 CWM, I'm on a stock rom and I'm rooted aswell, so I reboot in CWM, wipe data/factory reset, then Instal zip from sd card, when it tries to instal I get that status 7 error, it say's something about build.prop, I looked around and saw that you can delete something at the beggining when you open updater file and I did that but then It starts to instal but finishes really quickly, less then a minute. Shouldn't it take longer? When it instals I reboot my phone it gets stuck at the screen after Samsung one, on the one where it says Samsung GT-S6500D and then goes into bootloop, can someone help me with this please. Maybe i deleted wrong strings or w/e it's called in updater? I also tried wipe cache + dalvik cache + battery stats
are you sure you used the rom for mini 2 i think the one you flashed was for mini
