[Q] How to prepare my note for warranty and what I've to tell?

Hello XDA!
I managed to brick my Note, so I'd like to sent it to the repair under warranty.
But my problem is, I'm currently on a stock ROM (I've flashed it with patched PIT) and I don't know how I should show to the repair centre that my partition is damaged and what to tell. Also my note has currently 3 flash counters.
I thought about the CF-Root Kernel -> TriangleAway.apk -> Flash a ROM with Mobile ODIN (Think doesnt increase the counter), but when I do it like this, my phone is still re-partionated with the patched PIT, so I have to remove this patched PIT, but when I remove it with ODIN and try to re-partion with stock PIT it would increase the counter? (And wouldn't be able to flash smth else because my note is bricked...)
At the moment I've no perspective how I can manage that. Has someone tip or knows how I could do that?

Yes theres no other way.
You can buy it in ebay. Its better to buy the jig than to pay the repair, because they will surely see the binary count and void your warranty and also tell them you hardbrick your note by factory reset your phone.

Triagle away is good for working phone but if you hardbrick your phone, how can you use it?

Hmm, isn't it working through CWM? Can't one enter CWM when bricked?

The funny part is that my note is actually working with custom pit, but I have to show to the repair centre that they wont be able to flash a normal ROM, so I have to reset my counter first (this is possible with custom pit and stock rom & triangle_away.apk), but then I have to flash again the normal pit, thats the point. To flash again original pit increases the counter, or I am wrong?

Read all the threads here in Q&A. You'll find alot of threads like this, every one knew what the were doing when voiding the guarantee, but it's not prohibited to ask what they told to the repair centre? So where's the problem?

Let's be frank, the eMMC bug is a manufacturing defect and Samsung knew it. That's fraud.

IF u can re-partion with stock pit i guess u can flash stock rom too.

So ive the same problem.. Updated OTA to ics, made a factory reset -> Damaged partition. So i used the patched PIT to get it working again. All working fine now, except that there are much more lags than before.
So i want to send it back to samsung to get it repaired / changed. What can i do now? I think samsung will check the phone and they will notice that it was flashed with patched pit. Is it possible to get it back to stock (with stock pit) to send it back?

Not 100% on this. Don't think repetition ingredients to stock would work as it would fail, but this might actually be a good root to go down. There's a chance the partition would be damaged enough to pose a re- superbrick. Alternatively, install stock ics and go for another superbrick.

[Q] knocked on the recovery

I have a Samsung device Galaxy SIII Mini (GT-I 8190)
Accidentally installed a version that was not his, and knocked on the recovery, and now my device does not get any updates, not through the OTA and automatic updates, simply the recovery screwed.
I tried to change version, and restore the original version and it did not help ..
By the way, every time a version I do, he gets stuck, and I must do him param then he recovers back. No param is stuck in the front window.
You know how you fix it please?

I dont think that any update was published.

Well, what shall I do?
Can fix this?

Maybe flash an official firmware from the start and do a hard reset (after the flashing).
That should definitely install the official recovery again!

You can download a new firmware from sammobile.com and then use the following guide for instructions:

Was your flash succesful and did you do a hard reset after the flash?
Can you describe us EXACTLY (by letter) what your device does?

I did install the original version, the installation is completed to the end ..
After doing the installation device stuck, I could not do anything to him, not a hard reset, or anything that is stuck and went to recovery.
The device remains stuck until I did a setup to PARAM

Well, the way I understand I need to Install a new ClockworkMod Recovery..
Where can I get this file please?

There is no cwm recovery for our phone yet.

How I saw that s iii mini and the sii is the same system and the same processor and the same data to both devices,
what do you say? I can try the cwm recovery of the S II on my device?

sorry my english is not so good
I have exactly the same problem I do not come purely from recopvery menu
already tried everything from nor even with ADB hardreset not one time with the code * # 87976633 #. if I pull on it ne other firmware I've also the problem that the programs I had before the bottles are then on it is still there or twice since
there may be the possibility to erase the phone completely, format as in the PC hard drive???
or what can I do otherwise??

Probably your problem is like mine, you have the recovery fails, and you can not do anything, that recovery is available now, so have to wait

[Q] Help needed to revive dead S Advance

i was doing a manual update through Odin started the process off and then went to fetch a drink from kitchen, came back to laptop Odin had finished the process and had PASS written in box, but the phone itself is now lifeless will not switch on will not do anything.
can anyone help me?

Do you have I9070P??? If so, your phone is bricked. Take it to service.
If not, can you go to download mode?

Developer CallMeVentus bricked his that way, and he took it to warranty. No way you can fix it by yourself. You should read first.

ppls dont post in Dev forum for Q's! we will help you even if you post in the Q&A Subforum(dunno what it appears as in your browser,but i think its pretty clear!) as for bricking,only way is to take it to service.

Yes, one with title: Do not flash I9070 roms and firmwares to I9070P. Duble check before do some instalation.

Note got hard bricked [display black]

Current Status is no display and getting slightly heated when battery is in also PC is not detecting it.
I had installed offcial Indian 4.1.2 JB [N7000DDLSC_N7000ODDLSC_N7000DDLS6_HOME.tar] Rom from SamFirmware.
I just tried to root it with philz_touch_6.07.9-n7000.zip but it failed to install in Stock Recovery and after that it got Boot loop error n also it was giving error to boot into stock recovery.
So I tried to re-flash it with this one N7000DDLSC_N7000ODDLSC_N7000DDLS6_HOME.tar but it failed just after FactoryFS.
After that I did some searching and got some knowledge about pit file flashing from here (http://www.androidayos.com/2012/09/...galaxy-note-n7000-unbrick-and-recovery-guide/) and I flashed it with this [Q1_20110914_16GB] PIT file.
On ODIN I got PartitionSET,failed and My Galaxy Note got totally Dead. :crying:
Is there any way to fix it? Please help me

You should research how to odin back to stock from "flash mode". That should fix this for you.

Nope. You need a pc to fix your problem.
That happened to me once it twice.
Odin stock is only way, to my knowledge, to fix this.
