Ok, I have Repencis 3.5 installed, with the last PX kernel, no CWM installed. I'd like to go back to Repencis kernel. Is this the right one? Why is it build2? Is it more advanced than the one included in the Repencis ROM?

Also, how do I install it?? I tried with both stock recovery and CWM. It shows it's flashing but then, after reboot, i still have the PX kernel. Any idea?

hi, can you enable swap on this kernel? very thanks! good work!
I tested it on my "arc s" looks like the phone insists on running 1Ghz maximum not 1.4. I see in cpu spy logs. And seems swap is enableb. Thanks
does this support ext4?
Working fine
Hey,
I'm trying this on my lt15, unlocked bl, stock rom (latest). And it seems to be working just fine.
I'm letting a couple of battery cycles to be completed to report on battery performance.
Thanks
Working flawlessly on my Lt18i. I have noticed the 1GHz limit also when I started No CPU frills. But for me it's not an issue at all. By the way, I'm using Jader's Ice Bean ROM and it's totally compatible with your kernel. =)

hi guys, i believe i flashed your kernel. I think!. I mean the downloaded file is the same name as yours. The kernel version says: 2.6.32.9-perf. I flashed this using flashtool. I flashed this kernel alongside jelly sandwich 6.1. I am currently not able to use the google play store as the data plan does not seem to be working. Play store is asking me to connect to wifi and not data plan. the button is definately switched on an connected to the vodafone network.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks Matt
I need a Froyo based custom ROM for my galaxy mini.
I am facing some wifi issues with the gingerbread roms like cm7,emanon and also ics based ones.
I need a Custom ROM based on froyo. Also my galaxy mini, when running stock froyo ROM(ddka7) lags frequently.
To be able to use wifi at my home i need froyo roms.
Can you guys please suggest any Froyo based custom ROM for sgm. Also do the stock Froyo Roms of sgm support init.d ?
Please Reply ASAP. Thanks in advance.
Really ? If you need to flash Custom ROM you need ClockWorldMod Recovery (CWMR), and CWM need Gingerbread to work !
So answer is = NO
we have cwm for froyo but no custom rom. so bad luck
init.d?

those script will work if you got success in enabling init.d
to enable init.d try the below command
Code:

You want a froyo ROM and jellybean is out!!!!!!!!!! Dude I suggest you to checkout akop or cm10 by the whisp they are both good roms but you need to be on gingerbread in order to flash them using CWM so good luck.

Hmm. A lot of threads to read in the development section for you there are. Answers you will find.
-
But as I am kind:
I think the best beginner roms with great benefit are darkys roms. But since u have to flash cm9 to flash darkys v11 black, you can also stay with cm9.
I think the stable 9.1 is a good choice with either semaphore 1.3.0 kernel or devils 1.0.3 kernel.
Cm10 is still too unstable for me, but I am sure there are other opinions.

In CM, you are flashing kernels, modems, mods - via CMW (flash zip from sdcard).
I think ICS - based roms don't need any memory tweaks.

CM9.1's stock kernel works well.
IMHO If you're not looking for specific tweaks, you don't need to flash a different kernel.
what's about memory(storage)?
do i need to install anything to expand it?

Storage is physical memory. You have to buy a external microSD card or delete apps to get more.
If you are talking about ram: there are tweaks in the kernels mentioned above.

Hi guys,
I'm running on CyanogenMod 9.1.
Which kernel i can use to overclock CPU? Is siyah kernel compatible with CM9??
Please help.
Hello,
So after getting some knowledge of the things (thanks Shut_Down :good, I was wondering which is the best combination for this phone?
Right now I am running the stock ROM and kernel.
Will the new official JB upgrade also change kernel or just ROM?
Since people here have already tried different combinations, which combinations have you found that give good, consistent and fast running?
Thanks!

Same here. Stock JB LQ4 + ThunderZap 3.5.
So I am guessing I will upgrade to the stock JB ROM (till there will be a JetMod version of JB).
1) Which would be a better kernel set CoCore or ThunderZap?
2) I am right now still running the stock GB ROM.
What would be the right upgrade process kernel update then rom, or rom and then kernel?
The reason I am thinking kernel first is because I still don't have a custom recovery (using the stock brand) so i can't backup or load new roms.
What do you think?
Thanks!

Try both and see what firs you better. And about order, you can install ROM with temp. CWM, but I suggest you use permanent, with custom kernel. So first kernel, than ROM.

Hm, on this Russian JB there is no Hebrew as I see. So if you want it you should wait for release for your country or any with your language.
