Hi,
not sure if the problem is général or ROM related...
This morning after new kernel flashing, I rebooted, and at the same time was talking to some people.. so I looked at my phone at least 5 min later, and the boot process was done for long, and SIM card was locked...
I didn't find how to manually launch the PIN code identification process, had to reboot...
Is there a way to do it without rebooting ?

Not sure about this, but I think turning flight mode on/off will bring the pin id screen back.

I think I have the solution to your problem. I am using pbs shell 3d, and sometimes while it restarts (after booting phone) the pin screen does not appear. It seems to happen with a few launcher or similars to spb shell. It has happen to me quit offen. The solution is to install a task killer. If it happens again, drag the task killer and kill all runningprogrmas. The pin screen will appear straight away.

firstly do not abuse and tell us if you have overclocked it or not
sometime when we overclock or underclock it the device get unstable and start rebooting again and again
if your mini is 2 week old you can carried it back to the company
Try to restore factory settings.
Every thing ia stock, and i tried reset to factory settings but it wont change anything.... Bougt it in mediamarkt. But before sending it back, isnt there anything i can do?

So I was flashing my OB with a newly rooted verion of 20i using the auto root tool and began flashing it. I've done this before many times without issue. This time part way through it stopped and eventually I got an error saying it had timed out. When I pulled the plug and plugged it back into the OB to try again, it won't go into sw upgrade mode. It won't do anything. Even if I try to power it on using my batter, charger etc...nothing.
Did I fry the OB?? I think I made the mistake of not having the right files for the CP and AP bin selections (backwards) but I can't imagine I fried it?

Auto root tool? Do you mean smartflash tool? If your referring to smartflash tool, it happened to me before. After flashing 4 times a got an error and saying i had a time out. What i did is just turn off the phone and leave it for an hour maybe 10hrs After that try to turn on the phone or try to flash again. If you have problem entering sw upgrade mode try to hold the volume up a little bit longer like 1 minute until it enter sw upgrade.

Yeah it was the smartflash tool, after rooting with the rom converter.
When you left it, did you leave the battery in or out? Plugged in?
I just pull out the battery and leave it for an hour. The error indicate time out so be patient and take some rest.

There is nothing displayed on the OB. The timeout was with the smartflash tool on my PC. I've left the phone empty for an hour and tried plugging in. Nothing. I think she's hooped.

Yeah the timeout was with the smartflashtool it happened to me and just like what i said before i pull out the battery and i leave it for an hour then i flash rom again using smartflashtool. Try this hold volume up( keep holding even it takes 1 minute just hold it) then connect it to the pc using usb. Keep holding volume up until it enter sw upgrade mode. I have a case sometimes that it takes 30 secs to enter sw upgrade. In case you enter sw upgrade and you flash rom check also if you still have battery left on your phone. Don't unplug it quickly just take some time to charge the phone. If this method did'nt help you, I think you need to go to lg service center. But before that try your best and look for all possible solution to your problem.

Doesn't look like its going to work. The PC won't see it and it won't turn on. Tried a few different computers too. I'll leave it overnight with the battery out but likely it'll be shipped out tomorrow for repair.
I have to say, after just shy of a year of ownership with this thing, this is the first phone to pile up on me like this. Yet another reason why I'll never buy LG again. (Oh and their refrigerators SUCK too!)
GOOD NEWS! My replacement phone came in today!!!
BETTER NEWS!!! It's a Galaxy S2X and I'm putting a modded ICS for my carrier on it as we speak! Far better phone, and way more support.
Thanks to devs for your hard work here. Sorry there were so many tools asking for ETA's. I hope there are less foolish people in the Galaxy thread.
Peace
Lucky you!!!
I must try that trick and fry my phone too.
Really hard on the devs trying to fix stuff without full source code and drivers available. I am on the verge of swapping my ob plus some money for s3 right now, will wait until September but that will be the end of it.

Do it!
I can't believe what a difference this "comparable phone" is. I'm getting like 6400+ scores on antutu just stock. Soooo many north american roms to choose from too! very excited. This should have been my original purchase.
LG NO MORE!
Ok so not sure what the heck i did but I cannot answer my phone.
It is rooted, and does not have ICS, pretty standard goods.
About 2 days ago i turned on the phone and lots of my on screen apps were gone from the screen, still on the phone but just gone from the scrolling screens.
Phone rings yesterday and i hear it, but the caller ID never pops up and I cannot answer the phone, no option to do so what so ever.
I press the phone icon and it just shows the keypad and again no option to answer the phone.
Something else i noticed is the swipe down options are gone as well. GPS, DATA, etc, it does not even swipe down at all.
Entertaining suggestions
The weekend is here and I REALLY need my phone lol
Cheers

I tried that before and nothing, i think it may be the rom i have installed.
Sometimes it will just crash and reboot too.
I guess I should go back to the stock rom maybe, but i did a titanium backup before but it did not backup and i lost all of my s memo notes amongst other things.
Grrr
May just donate it to the concrete.

(asks if u want to load custom OS) Odin Mode
or if i press volume down and reset phone
i just get the loading screen from whatever firmware i put on there when i first starting adding roms and so on ages ago
bump
ok, what if you try instead of pressing volume down press volume up and clear data and cache? And then again put it in download mode and try to restart? I am not sure I understand what exactly is you problem...

The problem is that whether i do vol up or vol down it still just cycles and never comes out of that mode.
I have gone and did the data wipe and then vol down and it just cycles and never stops. I recall this issue when i installed the rom but it said it may take time but if longer than 5 min take the battery out and reset. I have done this and nothing.
So now, i did vol up again and i get the Android guy and it reads at the top Odin Mode and downloading, do not turn off target. And this just never does anything.
Cant take it to Orange for fix because it has custom firmware and they will tell me to have a nice day, warranty voided.

Does this work on the NON AT&T version, i live in the UK and have a different version
I've got an unbranded HTC One and I've performed the OTA update from a few weeks ago. I'm not saying the update is the cause, just that I'm on the latest ROM. The phone is also not rooted.
I've noticed that it's getting slower and slower when pressing the On button before the keypad appears and also longer for the keyboard to appear and then it takes longer for the keys I've pressed to register and then another few seconds for the application icons to appear.
All in all, it takes about 15 seconds to turn on, enter my 4 number pin and for the icons to finally appear. Normally this whole process takes me 2 seconds. I know an extra 13 seconds doesn't sound a lot but when you're trying to get to your camera or to take someone's contact details, it feels like forever.
Restarting the phone fixes the issue but it eventually slows back down again. I don't want to have to restart my phone every 3 days so this isn't really a viable solution.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
If not then I can only assume it must be software I've since installed but I'm very careful with what I install (no games, just work related apps like Astrid and things like WhatsApp).
15 seconds!!!??? That's looooonnnnnggggg on anyone's book using any phone!
My One is instantly turned on when the power button is pressed and sometimes the password keypad took a bit longer to appear because I use Swype and it's still a bit laggy compared to stock keyboard, but I am talking about between instant and half a second delay, not even one second.
Yours definitely got some issue, either hardware or software I don't know, likely to be software if you say a restart solves it. What keyboard app you are using? It could be that...

Everything I'm using is stock.
I've just timed it again - it's 15 seconds if I've accessed the phone recently otherwise it's closer to 18 seconds.
It feels a long time to me and when I say it out loud "18 seconds" it sounds pretty insignificant but I assure you, it's very, very irritating.
How many weeks uptime do you have on your phone?
I've removed almost all my apps now so we'll see if it starts slowing down again.

Go read Gunny's response on losing your warranty. The warranty loss claim is complete bs. It states you MAY lose your warranty. I've returned so many phones for warranty that were rooted, bootloader unlocked, and even bricked with a different devices software on it and I never had any problems.

Fair enough but people dont need to have to root and unlock bootloaders and do this and that to get a good experience. People just want to get a phone out of the box and use it. and HTC have done a good job at that. And there are too many noobs that just dig themselves a big hole after doing down the unlock path
back on topic: its probably an app thats causing huge lag on your device. check your running apps in settings
