Well maybe I should get some more sleep and not reply withouth thinking in the future... Or maybe I should just not reply at all Thanks for correcting me.
But if that is what you want. There is an option in LauncherPro for just that.
Preferences ---> Appearance Settings ---> Disable wallpaper scrolling
Which is good if you already use LauncherPro of course.
That will give you the same wall paper every page, I think the ts would like to set a different background at each page...which will be nice....but I didn't see it yet...
Wow multipicture works....but is a bit laggy...

This does exactly what I want, but it's a bit hanging and refreshing the background all the time, instead of just putting a fixed one
Thanks!
I'm looking for a application that put on each display a different picture.
An aplication like Wallpaper Set And Save

when I use it and give apply only shows a black background with no picture
by other reviews I understand that this is a problem in several phone models
it is another app call multipicture live wallpaper but in this if i have 5 screens on the screen 2-3-4 image is ok, but in screen 1 appears a portion of the image from the screen 2, and in 5 a portion from 4 . However, this appears to be closest to what I want

I wasn't aware you could set wallpapers using Desktop VisualizeR.
Nor was I. I'll have to check that out.

Yeah.. Not the same as using it to set a wallpaper
EDIT: I have the 8.9" version. I figured it would be the same on both... Guess not.
I have Nova launcher installed, and I installed a gallery app but every time I choose a wallpaper it crashes the app...
Is there a way to set a wallpaper from an image on the device?
Do you have the ICS Galllery apk installed? That is about the only one that works with mine. Also, wallpaper apps work with nova/apex/adw/go.

I do, it always crashes when it gets to the crop part :/
Probably should have specified that I have the 8.9" version.
I have the same problem on my 8.9.
Search the play store for an app called "kindle fire - wallpaper change" it works like a charm.
You will still need "ics gallery" to look for the wallpaper you want after launching kindle fire wallpaper Change. Just select do not crop.
Also don't use the stock photo app to select your images. For some reason they come out blurry if you select them with the stock app instead of the ics gallery.

Hello! I'm running CM10.1 on my 8.9 and would like to show images truly full screen when looking through gallery. Is there anyway to do this? Some kind of auto hide bar like in Windows at the launcher level or even just a new viewing app?

Go to settings, system, power menu, and check extended desktop. Then tap the power button to bring up the power menu and enable it.

Worth a try but no dice. Oddly the black bars are still there in the gallery after doing this. The image will snap to full screen for a moment and then resize as though the bars were still there. Thanks for the effort.

I tried a couple others that had weird resizing issues; like they would muddy the render or something. Quickpic fixed it... Thanks so much!
Is it possible? I really like the stock Messaging app, but for ease of Emoji etc, I like to use Go SMS. Unfortunately it comes with a hideous stock icon, and trying to change it while keeping it in the dock is proving to be quite difficult.
Any ideas without running a third party launcher? I'm trying to keep the phone as light as possible.

Surprised this hasn't been answered yet. Anyway, it's fairly simple. You can only change your docked apps when you have the app drawer open. Simply open the app drawer first, then move the current app in the dock and drop it into the drawer. You can then move any other app from the drawer into its place. Hope that helps.

Sorry, but this doesn't really help me as I can't change the icon for Go SMS when it is in the dock. Using an icon switching app seems to only let me create a Go SMS shortcut with stock Messaging icon on a homescreen, not in the dock or app drawer, which is what I need
