I just want to make sure Tx has wifi tethering feature? or need to rooted phone and download third party app?
how is camera? how is battery life?

I am using the TX on T-mobile and it works fine including 4G hspa+. Battery life is good, lasts a full day no problem. Quick charge is awesome, will do a full charge in am hour or so. I bought mine off an eBay seller with lots of reviews.
Also, it does have a wifi tether app, though I haven't used it. The camera seems good, but I am hoping Sony has another update to make it better.

Too expensive! You can get a cheap one off ebay, probably are the same OEM. Battery Left or Battery Calibrator.
Does this thing stick out? Or can you use the standard battery door, along with standard cases?

Nope, actually the Mugen battery was more expensive from ebay. And those cheap ones are crap so not even worth the shipping cost.

No, it fits under the standard cover. Tighter fit but it fits.
Have now charged it 3 times and it seems like the battery time is at least 22% longer. Usually I would charge my battery during night and use it during the day. At best it would die when i turn on the screen in the morning if I would have forgot to charge it. But usually it dies around 6 in the evening. So lets say it lasts 12-18 hours in normal use.
The Mugen battery charged during the night lasts for 18-24 hours. So I'm pretty satisfied ;-)

At least 12 hours. I would say around 18 with the latest CyanogenMod 7.1.0 RC13 11.08.14 and things like logging etc. shut off.

Hey did anyone else from the US pre-order on Negri? Im about to pull the trigger as they are expecting stock on the 1st latest.
I was about to and released their version will not have LTE or even if it does its gonna be EUROPE bands.... that kills it for me. Cannot get a phone in 2013 and not have LTE.

Truthfully HSPA+ is MORE than enough for me. I get LTE in select areas around me (like manhattan) but not where I live in jersey. Also I never download anything on the network and am on wi-fi mostly.
Consider this .... the HTC developer edition with att LTE and 64 GB will be 650 + tax..... and available at same time as ATT version...
Having LTE will also mean better resale value when you jump on the "next big thing".
You make the call.
I haven't ordered and was planning to order the dev edition from HTC directly. I can wait a few weeks so its not an issue for me.
I use H+ most of the time but I do like having the ability to toggle between them when I want to watch videos or download large files, hotspot, etc...

I cant download large files with 2GB of a data plan. I want the dev version also but it coming out the same time within a 30 day span kind of pisses me off. I'm going to go buy a Note 2 tomorrow and call it a day most likely.
I'll be trying to grab one next week as well. Haven't decided who to get it from yet. Probably whoever gets them first

EXpansys -USA said theirs should be sometime next week as well, but that it could be Friday and that they wouldn't turn around until the next Monday.
After the S3 launch fiasco with Negri last year, I will never again order anything from Negri Electronics.
Anybody has more information on the Xperia Z on t-mobile USA? Just want the 4G LTE and wifi calling which is why i am waiting for the carrier version. I heard a couple more weeks from some people around 2-3 weeks ago. Just would like a general time frame if anybody has any new information on this.

I wish t-mobile would just come and give some type of statement one way or another so i can stop wondering about it, Its not like everybody hasnt already seen the FCC documents. Gonna give it to the end of june before i decide if i'm gonna get another phone or just buy it unlocked.
By the time it's launched its not even worth getting.
Better to wait for togari or honami.
S4 pro chip isn't all that great lol. Can't wait to see s800 to perform.

I dont mind getting a slightly older phone since i dont need to have the latest and greatest, especially if i can get it a cheaper price. Only reason i even have a smart phone is because i want to be able to watch E3 and other gaming conventions while i'm at work :laugh: and the only reason i want this phone is because i want to be able to say i have Playstation Certified Smart phone :silly:
And it's "water proof"
Even if you never get it wet... it's pretty cool to be able to say you can! lol

I have a problem. when i recharge my phone from 1% to 39% without using the phone. it just stop recharging and discharge instead.. to 36% . i rebooted the phone to restart recharging and i lost -14% so it have 22% left. when my battery got 50% and i reboot one more. the battery got glitched and get +30% more power so it have 80%. i don't know what's going on with the battery. my phone is rooted and i lost warranty... what to do?
normally the battery should not give itself 20-30% more power or lose power when reboot.
UPDATE: My battery is a little bit swollen now. i'm gonna to buy the new battery.

I don't understand very well what you're saying, anyway are you using the default charger or other!? The default battery or a chinese laugh one!? Which rom!? Give more useful info please.

I'm using original Samsung charger, original Samsung battery made my china (NOT replacement) and stock rom.

sounds like it's time for a battery replacement to me. something similar happened to me about 6 months ago and a new battery fixed it

You could also find yourself some batteries on Ebay. Found mine on it, it's been working perfectly ever since. Don't wait until some kind of accident happens.

That's right, there are a few original ones on EBay. But I think if you want the smallest chance on a fake battery, you better look at the phone stores themself.

You can buy a 1700mah battery from the Galaxy Ace II. That's what I have and no complaints so far

yeah... i never use ebay before but i had heard that some people got fake iphone 4s / 5 bought from ebay so that's why i don't trust ebay. i always buy items in my local store (not online) that i trust. that's all

I try not to buy from people with less than a few successful sales. On the other hand, I tend to trust people with hundred of thousands of successful sales, and basically never regret my purchase. But you're absolutely right when you buy from your localstore. At least you don't need to wait weeks before you get your product Anyway, i'll stop talking about Ebay as it's not the main topic
