Hi Guys
I have a strange icon at the top of my phone that looks like two hands cupping a small white object. This icon is not listed anywhere i can find LOL Any ideas? When I plug the charger in it goes grey and then white when I unplug.

this icon means extended standby mode is active
and it goes grey because extended standby is disabled when you plug the charger (because it doesn't have to save the battery then)

Alright, I'll keep this short:
I have a galaxy note, and got the docking station just today. Now, I like the dock app that comes up as soon as you dock it, however, the background is standard this blue thing. I change it to a black background in order to save screen lifetime and prevent SuperAmoled burn in.
The problem is though, after a few minutes it goes into a different mode where it rotates the position of the clock and hides that status bar, but then it also changes the background back to the original background, meaning I don't dare leave it in the cradle for hours.
Is there a fix for this? Is it actually harmful to the screen to be on for such extended periods of time?
help.....
My wife dropped her phone from about 4 feet high. There is no visible physical damage, but the battery popped out at impact. However, after she put everything back together, her phone won't turn on. When I connected the phone to the charger (with battery inside), I saw a green battery icon with a red exclamation in a circle near the upper right of the battery icon. The light indicators then flashed orange and green alternately. After a few minutes, it just shut down again. My PC wouldn't recognize the phone either while connected.
What can be done to revive the phone or salvage the data?
Thanks in advance.
It turns out it's connector issue, one of the pins for the battery was bent.
The power button broke on my Note 3, i reassemble the phone hopping to fix the problem, i found out the small dome shape piece of metal is out of its place and there is no way to put it back, also there is a tiny piece of clear reddish plastic to cover that metal dome, i found the whole circuit in amazon and i ordered one.
i closed the phone back after connecting all connectors back, i did that very carefully.
when i connect the charger (the phone is off) a gray battery icon shows for a couple of seconds then the phone screen become bright white for few seconds then turned off, the charging LED indicator is off. usually the battery icon changes to green with 5 green dots underneath it indicating the phone is charging.
if i disconnect the charging cable and put it back nothing happened, if i disconnect and connect the battery then plug the charger, the gray icon an white screen scenario above happened again.
I remove the battery overnight and tried it this morning, i got the same behavior again.
any help is really appreciated.
Phone: unlock ATT note 3 with custom ROM.
WOW, am I the only lucky one with this problem???
I found out that the battery is really charging, but neither led nor the screen are indicating anything, I figured it out when i noticed the battery is worm,
Also i was able to manage to boot my device by connecting the charger while pressing the Volume down and home button, i was able to go to download mode then restart the phone using volume up.
the phone is charging fine when it is on.
Not sure about the main issue if it caused by the Power button or something else.
Update:
I have a bad ROM causing too many problem, I flashed to NC2 4.4.2 and every thing is working, no wonder why nobody has this issue.
Thanks,
Good night, my LG Gear R started to annoying me with a white battery logo when i charge the Watch
I never saw this before, anyone knows how to fix it please?
He becomes a little bit "hot" when charging, i cant even turn it on while charging
Thanks!
EDIT: FIXED, i dont know how but i let the watch to charge the whole night and hes working normal now
I've never seen that indicator before. Are you sure you are not using a new watchface or app that could causing the display to change?

Yeah, i just let the watch chargin at the baqse while i sleep and this morning he was "okay" the button wasnt working, even the touch. Just the signal flashing while charging lol
i'm not using watchfaces, i'm using the default LG watchface (i like it  )
But thanks anyway!
It is when watch is battery totally empty. Not enough battery to Power ON the watch when put in the charger, so it display only the charge symbol.

Oh, thank you for the tip!
Had the same, still dont know why
Iv had a little issue like this once when the watch was not fully empty
Also had it a few time when i put on charge and just had a little battery with lighting in a notification bubble (like the little bubble that tells you when you dont have connection looks like a cloud with a line through it)
Dont know whats going on but it charges and normally sorts itself out
I have a P20 Pro (CLT-L29) EMUI 8.1.0. I've had it for a couple of weeks.
I have noticed three types of charge icons in the status bar (the battery icon on top right):
- simple lightning bolt (accompanied by a "charging" message on the lock screen)
- two lightning bolts : a simple one below and a smaller one offset above (accompanied by a "fast charging" message on the lock screen)
- a longer lightning bolt with more bends in it (accompanied by a "supercharging" message on the lock screen)
I did a search on the forums here and found this thread where the two-bolt symbol apparently is indicating supercharging. I am a little confused. Perhaps this was in a previous EMUI?
Is there a comprehensive list of notification icons for Huawei phones? The manual isn't a lot of help, and the ones i have found online do not describe the various charge icons.
Here is something I found on hicare. It helped me in some things so the image is in polish language, but it says that one small bolt is standard charge, two are fast charge and one big is fastest, supercharge
/For some reason I can't upload image but I said everything
If you're using your original charger then it should be super charging , if you use another then you'll get something else like quick charging.
