Who else is back ordered?

I got sent the back order email days ago. It days I should get my phone with in 3 weeks.
Who else got one of these? Do you have any info to share? Is it still 3 weeks or is it 2 now seeing add it has been a week since order?
I know there are other threads related but not a single just for back orders and I think it would be help full to get an idea of how many back orders there are.
Please provide order info-
I had my carry full many times but the order I got through was not until 4:50est. I am hoping to not have to wait too long.

I got the BO email on the 15th. Nothing changed since then with my order.
CS told me the 3 weeks is from the BO email date.
But who the F believes them anyway. They don't know ****.

Can we have a thread so we can get an idea of how many are back ordered. An imaginary club within a limbo thread is worthless on an info perspective.

Me to.... I did not get my order in until late as well. I never got any shipping estimate though.
Also my payment is no longer on hold. Money is back in my bank account.
One thing I worry about is possibly getting someone's return. I would rather get my phone from a new batch then to get one that someone returned for some minor issue like a rattle or something.

I got two backorder emails, the initial one and one yesterday. :c
Apparently both my phones are on backorder, I ordered them separately around 9;40 PST.

I was about to start this thread and between drafting it and posting it and this started up so my thread got closed :silly:
we do need a separate thread because watching those in limbo is terrible for us on BO.
If we can post any change to status it may give us some answers or indication of what to expect.

Yeah dude, that spread sheet was awesome. I would kind of like one though that is updated and narrowed down just to back orders. Many on that spread sheet have gotten their phones by now. I am trying to figure out who is going top have to wait.
Why is it that they keep saying 3 weeks? I got bthe back order a week ago or almost. When I asked cs if it was 3 weeks from the time I got the email or 3 weeks from now he never replied. What scares me most though is than when I asked if he could guarantee a 3 week time frame he said no.
I get the feeling that 3 weeks was sort of made up to get everyone of their backs.

I am afraid you are right. They don't really have an estimate so they threw the 3 weeks in the air.

I called earlier today and the guy was like.. 'I really don't know how long backorders will take. It can be a week, three weeks, etc. We ship them out as soon as we get stock in.' Meaning they really are out of stock? I don't know.

Called Google and reported the phone as lost/stolen, the CSR said it will take 1-2 days to process then 3-5 days to ship the new phone, but I'm going to try and cancel my order during the processing so I can get another one off of CL

Thanks for this thread. I was about to post one myself, but didn't know what the mods would think. If anyone who got charged and the shipping email on friday, plus has been in the YBOD and has had the tracking change please post here. Please let us know when the tracking finally showed up. In the other threads some 1-2 weekers were getting tracking today, but I don't know if they were charged Friday like us other YBODers or if they got charged today with the 2-3 weekers. We need some kind of comfirmation that we are not getting forgotten by Google/UPS.

I called GP support two times, none of them give solid answers, just told to wait till the 1-2 week window to close to file a shipping refund claim.
PS: I think we should start calling at regular intervals (say: 2 hours) to force them to do something. Is totally unfair that 2-3, 4-5, etc week window are getting their shippings too early (and ahead of us)

Google Play Store shipping

When did you place your chromecast order with play store? what was your initial estimate and when was it shipped?
It helps others like myself whose order is "Pending".
I placed my order on Aug 8th. The estimate was 2-3 weeks and the order is still pending .
Update:
Looks like I've placed duplicate orders. So, I've two extra chromecasts to get rid off. They will ship from google on Aug 29th to my US address. They will be shipped to Bangalore,India immediately after delivery at my US address. Send me a PM if you are interested. You will pay only whatever it costed me to get them here, not a penny extra

I ordered on 7th Aug. Mine is pending too.Status on google play says ships by 29th Aug.

Order #1: Ordered July 24th. Google said it would ship August 2nd. It arrived July 29th, much earlier than expected.
Order #2: Ordered August 6th, Google said shipping in 3-4 weeks. Online lookup in the play store says it will ship by August 29th.

Ordered on 29th July. Expected shipping date 23rd august.

Note: Play Store now shows "Ships by September 3" for new orders.

Ordered mine July 24th, said it would ship Aug 6th. Showed up July 31st before I even got the shipping notice.

Just an FYI. A pending debit doesn't actually remove the money from your account, it's just a hold. You can call your bank and release that hold at any time.

So everyone who used moto maker, how long did it take to go from building your device to shipped? I ordered mine two days ago and got an email saying it was being built a few hours later. What has everyone else's experience been?

i ordered mine yesterday the 27th. hopefully i get a message that it will be assembled. mine says not shipped yet as the status

Ordered my 32GB black leather black front green trim VZW X on the 26th (first day of orders). It was being assembled that same day and shipped the next day, the 27th. It will be here tomorrow by 8 p.m. From the time I designed it to my doorstep will be about 4.5 days.

Ordered mine on the 26th and got a "it's being built" email the same day but it hasn't shipped yet. It said in the initial confirmation email that the estimated delivery date was Oct. 8th. Bummer

Mine also gave an initial delivery date of Oct. 8th, but it quickly go bumped up to Sept. 30th. Don't be surprised if yours gets a small bump as well.

Mine went from ordered to building in 12 hours, then 8 days from building to ship. No email from Moto or FedEx, had to check order status on moto's website.
My initial date was 10/13, showed up on 9/29.
I was in the first-few-days mess with AT&T/pure pre-orders.

Purchased Friday, built same day shipped on Saturday, should have tonight. I got the black front and Navy back if that makes a difference

Ordered mine on 26th in the afternoon, got estimated date of October 27th ?, email that it was being assembled on Sep 27th, same estimated delivery date as of right now...

That is how mine is. When I ordered my MOTO 360 or said ship date of 10-22nd but I received it yesterday. I never received an email outside of the receipt email.

Ordered the Pure Edition w/ T-mo sim on the 30th and got an estimated delivery date of the 9th. I've contacted motorola about it via chat a couple of times and I get the same story every time about some kind of delay in shipping and the last person I talked to told me that it's waiting for FedEx to pick up so we'll see.

nope no email as of yet...i don't think they will start shipping until Monday..so once you get it, it will be closer to the actual release date.

Press release clearly tells us this Friday, though.
"Preorders will begin shipping Friday, Aug. 14. Both smartphones will be available in Sprint Stores and all other sales channels beginning Friday, Aug. 21"

At least you guys were able to get your orders in. It trying to get mew to change my data plan which I do not want to do. Trying to order the Galaxy Tab 4 and it wants me to select a data plan. Hopefully the person I am chatting with will get it sorted for me.

I placed an order at 5pm PST on Thursday, 8/13/15, since the Sprint website said pre-orders being shipping on 8/14. My current status is still "waiting at the warehouse to be processed". At 5pm today, Customer Service Live Chat said that my order will be shipped by the end of the day because almost all of the pre-orders were practically ready for shipment at the warehouse. A few hours later, my status hadn't changed, so I contacted them again at 8pm. He then stated that it should now ship this weekend.
*Update:
At 11pm last night, I received an email saying that it shipped through UPS. The Sprint site says that it shipped and supplied a UPS tracking number, but the UPS site says that it's just "ready for UPS" and does not provide an estimated arrival date other than 2-day air.

This time its Sprint first. Last year, T-mobile users get their N4 first.

i'm not on Sprint, but FedEx tracking shows my wife's ATT Note 5 is scheduled for delivery on Monday, August 17th... surprised it's shipping that soon.

ATT also. Tuesday arrival. gonna miss my SD slot. but gonna love the phone no matter the difference
