Yeah, it was being weird. Here are the symptoms, let me know if anyone else experienced the same thing
Random Reboots
Battery Drainage (even with an Anker 4400 in it)
Slow Boot Up times
Micro USB port really loose.
Got it all replaced now with Orange UK. They didn't even charge me, makes me think that there were more people with problems like this.
Let me know.

standard OUK policy. if the phone is within 7 days, you get a brand new replacement or a reconditioned there after. chances are because the phone is so new you'll have got a brand new one
I've had it for two months now. I think it was a brand new phone. all is working fine for now.

This past weekend had to run out to Chuck e Cheese for my daughter's second b-day and my Tilt wasn't charged so I figured hey I'll just use that nifty car charger I got with my case off eBay! Plugged it in and it fell into a thin slot in the center console and I just left it there for about a half hour. When I went to pick it up it was EXTREMELY hot to the touch! Got that feeling in the pit of my stomach and verified instantly that it was dead. Pulled the battery, plugged it into the wall charger and did everything I could think of but I couldn't even get a light to go on. Called AT&T and it was under warrantee so they sent me out a new one so problem solved right?
Well... I did have Dutty's 2k8 rom installed and I couldn't flash it back since it was dead so I'm a little worried. It was obviously a hardware issue cause by either a cheap car adaptor or the lack of air while it was charging but I'm afraid they'll get it working and see the new rom and say oops! Out of warrantee! Here's a $500 charge on your bill.
So I was just wondering if anyone's experienced anything like this and what you think my chances are of getting nailed by AT&T for something completely unrelated to the problem?
BTW I didn't mention this to them I just said I charged it overnight with the OEM Charger like always and it was just dead the next morning.
Thanks!
I still have the fried phone for a couple of days if anyone has any ideas...
Dont think you will have a problem. If its fried its fried.
Enjoy your new replacement and relax
Hello!
I got an old Samsung gt-n7000, it worked well until the battery went old. The screen started to flickering for some days, until the battery lost all the power, the mobile turned off and I could not recharge it. I then bought a new battery and everything worked, I thought. Until I should charge the phone, it still dident work to charge it. I look all over the internet and found that maybe its the usb connector in the phone that stop working. I ordered one at ebay, got it today but it still don't give me any response at all.
The phone was rooted for ca one year ago, but then I factory reset it to all original. So this dosen´t matter?
Any thoughts what I can do? Is it just trash?
My advice is to get an external battery charger and a spare battery.
It could also very well be a bad usb cable.

I already tried 5 different cables and none of them work sadly.
Yeah I guess that's the only way?
I suspect something like this would work as well.
Please note that i have not tested/used/researched/ordered this. But its what i would consider giving your situation.

Hi guys, I bought htc one, almost 6 month ago. It was amazing nd all but i still felt it wasnt working well.
Then i used some roms .. didnt help much. battery was killed. I thought it was coz of rom. Well then finally after asking alot of advice here, I returned htc one to 100% factory settings (pain in the a..) then sent it to warrenty.
Here is a list of all things they changed (attachment). Is that normal?
did i have a really badly made htc one? or did i broke the components by using unoffical chargers/roms/kernels etc etc etc.????
Since I have noticed that it works WAY faster and battery is way better than it was.
maybe its coz i used xcover 2 the time htc one was away so i kinda got used to that piece of s... ? anyhow im way more satesfied with it now than before. but still, this is first time i sent phone to warrenty so i dont know if this much changes to the device is normal or not
Ps. The reason for giving it to warrenty: battery would get to 100%, when unpluged worked normal until 60-70%, then it would just die. no way to turn it on without puting it on charger atleast for 20 minutes.
(if i didnt put it on charger.. after 2-3 hours it would magiclly get 20-40% charge lol)
sorry about my english guys

Wow they changed a lot of things here!
I see 2 options, either your battery over heated and died + damaged some components or they damaged the phone when trying to open it to change the faulty battery/usb port.
Don't worry, at least your phone is working good now, there is so much horror stories about warranty repair here, glad to see yours came back in good condition.

Thanks for the reply bro.
Now i wanna know what caused the death of the battery. was it coz i used some unoffical chargers?
(like samsung charger which is for note 10.1 tablet, and some nokia chargers)
or was it coz i flashed roms way too frequently?
I m scared to unlock it again and start flashing but i really want to

You should only use official chargers, or at least be sure they output the same voltage (5v). There are some tablets charger (i.e Asus TF101) that output 10V and that amount of voltage will probably kill the battery....
Maybe it was only a bad battery, maybe damaged by CPU overheat.... who knows
Flashing roms doesn't damage the battery

Got my Note 5 with the adaptive faster charger about 3 and a half weeks ago. On my second Note 5 now (had to send the first one in due to problems) and everything was working fine until a couple of days ago. I would notice my phone saying "charging" and then I would have to unplug and plug it back in then the "fast charging" would appear. Now it doesn't ever go into "fast charging" and no matter what I do I always get "charging". I currently have 93% battery and it is telling me 15 minutes until full which seems a lot slower. I tried using my old Note 4 fast charger and get the same issue.
Anyone else with this issue? Wondering if it's the phone or actual charger and if there is anything I can do to get a replacement.
I never paid attention, but I just always figured that the adaptive charger would switch from 5V/2A to 9V/1.67A when it was nearing full charge.
(Sent from another Galaxy)
Try a factory reset. If it doesn't work, get it exchanged asap.
Check if the fast charging option in power settings is enabled

I know this thread is kind of old but in case you havent resolved your issue. I had the same problem with my phone so I called warranty, they sent me a brand new charger with cable and it works fine now. I compared the one they sent as a replacement and the one that came with the phone and the replacement cable is actually a lot thicker and feels way more durable. My guess is Samsung cheaped out and threw in a crappy cable to save cost but it wears down A LOT faster than a durable heavy duty one like the replacement I got. Anyways the new charger is working 100% of the time and has held up for about a week so far. we'll see how much longer this cable last.

Quick question, did you contact Samsung directly for this? Did they mail you something or did you have to go in to a local repair depot?
Thanks.

I actually called ATT customer service/warranty center. He told me he'd send me a new charger and cable and I needed to send back my old one. Got it in less than 2 days. Sorry for not being more specific. Also fast charging is still going 100% of the time on the new cable.

Thanks. Looks like I'll have to give my provider a call. I can verify that once I switched the cable I have no issues fast charging. I'm not having a good experience with Samsung so far. When you charge almost $1,000 for a product I expect it to be free of defects in every day use. Meanwhile my cable is messed up after only 3 weeks of owning it and the phone has signal problems that require me to cycle airplane mode to get data working. Never had a problem with my Nexus phones or iPhones. Really poor qualify control.
Guys I've a very big problem with my nexus 6, please see and respond with whatever solution you could think of, it'd really be very helpful to me.
Also sorry to write so long message, I've just given my entire issue in detail for some help.
I urgently need help please from someone experienced with this problem(if possible)
I'm having this really weird problem and I've no idea if there's any solution available online.
From past few months, whatever charger I'm putting in it, it's just not working ever again. It takes time, but after like 1-2 weeks the cable just doesn't work.
*I've recently observed that the cable goes something like, first it's charging*around 700mA(on a 1A charger), then after some days it was averaging 500mA(and the charging time increased too), now it's between 100-250mA(and charging time of atleast 6 hours), and finally after few days it'll stop charging.
I can assure that all cables and adapters I used were original(the first one to stop working like this was the original cable which came with this phone), there is no problem in them as I've regularly changed these and whenever I test in some other phone, the cable works until the time Nexus 6 permanently stops the cable.
It has happened to over 5 charging cables now, all this time I thought that it happened because of one charger, but now I think it's because of the phone. Please tell me what to do asap as I don't want to waste more wires on this. I'm losing a lot of money now. I'm unable to sleep at nights over this issue.
I told this issue to service centre, the person over there was surprised that a wire can be damaged too like this, and said I'll be charged ₹200 for checking(which moto customer care says there isn't any charge), I thought of getting it repaired somewhere else, but other people are suggesting me to change cable. I can keep changing but it'll cost me more and I'll have to keep doing this for next 2-3 years. I just need a permanent solution.
I live in Mumbai, India and bought the phone from Flipkart, and also it's out of warranty.
Also I can't find solution to this anywhere in Google, I just need help in determining the exact issue as it is unheard of so I can decide how to proceed to repair(if it's costly then I might not) or give me suggestions.

Probably you battery is dying.
A common problem for all smartphones after 1/2 years of use,
The Nexus 6 can be charged wirelessly; it's slow but good for the battery.
Buy a cheap QI-pad and charge the battery wireless.
