I also have this problem. I tried with factory reset several times (5/6 or more). After that it is working for 2/3 minutes and then starts to show ... unfortunately google.apps. process stopped .... It is showed when a new message is received and the telephone tries to show the notifications. When the chat is active the messages are shown without error.
I also tried to remove the account and add it again but the problem is still there. Can somebody give us some help to fix this.

The problem is the "Google Play services".
I have found a fix:
Setting --> Application Manager --> (DOWNLOADED) --> Google Play services (klick on it) --> Uninstall updates
Setting --> Application Manager --> (ALL) --> Google Services Framework (klick on it) --> Clear Data
Setting --> Application Manager --> (ALL) --> Talk (klick on it) --> Clear Data
Restart!
After the restart gtalk is working fine for me.
tried

You can try a app from market called "imo".
I'm not a big fan of gtalk app but i used it few days without any fc on stock JRO03H.I8190XXALJL build.
My fiancee also have this problem with her mobile, really annoying... It works for a while if you clear data on the Google Framework and Gtalk, but the problem always comes back.
Very strange... which version of rom you have?
Im on: JRO03H.I8190XXALJL

Did you just root and is started to work or you flash something else? (apk? ROM?)
And guys what about to flash newer version of gTalk somehow? Possible?
Thanks

Now I am going to check if disbaled services affects my needs and maybe to enable one by one to find one (or more) responsible
\\ UPDATE 2
this s how I set + Google Framework service with cleared data. After reboot it seems working, after another reboot gapps process keeps crashing and disabled processes needs to be enabled/disabled and Framework data cleared

The phone hasn't been released yet in the country where I'm currently residing. Same problem. Did update manually thanks to the xda forum. And is perfect. I'm sure you could give that a try.
You could check sammobile for the firmware. And browse the instructions for manually upgrading at xda and you shouldn't have any issue doing it.

Alredy happen to me
A common error occurs to Android users when they attempt to use Google Play to download apps that says “Error Processing Purchase DF-BPA-09″. The error usually doesn’t allow users to download anything and the problem will reoccur with every attempt.
The following steps usually fix this problem.
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap Applications.
3. Select the All tab.
4. Locate and tap Google Services Framework.
5. Select the Clear data button.
6. Tap OK on the warning that appears.
Although you may not have to, try restarting the device, then try to use Google Play. You should now have no problem downloading apps.

I have this problem: gmail's app sync stopped working properly. Basically, whenever I get an email, I get the "X new mails" notification, but the problem is that what I do on the app is not reflected on my gmail accounts on the PC, therefore maybe it says I have 5 new emails, I actually have just 1 new email. If I archive an email, for example, from the app, I will still get it as new undread message on the PC. I have to redo all the work on the PC in order to get rid of this stuff. On top of that, sending emails stopped working as well, so when I get a notification on my X8 I have to pickup the computer and reply through it. It behaves like that since I restored my backup (wanted to change rom, but I didn't like the new one and restored the latest backup). The fact is that sync is enabled, I tried disabling and activating the sync again, no luck, cleared cache, no luck. Any other idea?
One suggestion is to try other version (latest preffered) of gmail.

Probably it's time to change it anyway, I would love to have the latest Android 4.2 as I have on my tablet, do you have any suggestion? I need a light ROM with wi-fi/USB tethering to computer/tablet it's very important for me because I often work outdoors and I always need internet. I have a decent internet plan on my x8 so I usually use it to give internet to my computer. The native wifi hotspot on this rom works great on USB, but not too well wifi, so I can't use it on my tablet
So I got the latest MiniCM10 - a great rom, indeed, but the problem is not 100% fixed as now google syncs every hour or so which is annoying... I wish it was like with my old CM7 when it was working

Check your connection. I had the same problem, and later found out that it was a problem with my connection. Otherwise, clear data and cache for google play and google freame work, reboot and try clean again, reboot again and then try to connect.
If not, reflash the device.
I have no problems with internet connection gor example xda and browser works great. Do a factory reset solve the problem?
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app
Umm, sorry. When I meant connection, I meant if your internet service provider is blocking the ports that google play needs to work. That happened to me and I could not downlod anything, update or something else. But internet, browsing worked.
Try to connect to a hotspot around the city, otherwise, do as I told you earlier. Clear the cache for google play store and google framework.
Ok I cleared chache rebooted my phone, still having error. Tried another wifi, nothing changed. But wft is google framework? Sorry I am hungarian and I am not the best at problem solving...

You will find there more detailed info but the advice will be the same. Again, try to connect to a public hotspot, not just another wifi connection you have in your vicinity. It could be a port issue.
Still nothing. But any apps from google.doesn`t work like gmail. I think there is a problem with my account but from desktop everything worked. I`ll try more wifi tomorrow.

Gosh -- yeah, I had that once as well. Let me guess: some custom ROM? Some IP addresses of Google servers had changed, but were hardcoded here in the hosts file. So all apps went nowhere when looking for those servers. Commenting out the corresponding line(s) did it for me back then.
i had installed existenz rom 2.1.5
after that i cant add my google id in that
i had checked all other id but same

Reboot device and readd account. Should work.. unless Google has some problems with the servers tho.

Do you have 2 Step verification on? I found that on existenz, i couldn't add my account if 2 step was on, with 2 step switched off on my google account, it let me add the account.
