Hi,
I'm just want to know if someone has the official spanish ROM so i have it in case I need to downgrade my Trinity before the upgrade to the new English GPS ROM.
Thanks!!
Hello,
I have this stock firmware on my phone XFJM1/XXJM1 and I would like to upgrade to JM8. Does it have romanian language? IS IT OFFICIAL firmware? or is a beta? The only version I could find is I9000XWJM8 from samfirmware.com. Thanks a lot!
Salut,
JM8 is leaked firmware not official and it doesn't have Romanian language in the UI.
Only Swype in this version has this language. It's very fast tho' with JM8.Stay with JM1 and use the voodoo lag fix until official froyo is released.
Yep, this seems right.
I am from Thailand and i am trying to do this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=904175 for Thai keyboard.
but official roms in thailand does not have Spanish keyboard (only English) so i am looking into flashing new rom to get the spahish keyboard to start with. can anyone recommend which rom i should use?
I am C# dev but never touch this ROM thing before, would appreciate some help for this
Hello proud Xda-devs and members . I have a question , what are the differences in stability between JVH , JVA , JVB , JVK , and what language do the firmwares have , what swype language have . I am searching for one with romanian .
I would also like to know this. It might be a good idea to create a thread that lists the known differences between each updated ROM.
Samsung can answer.
JVH is the latest release. Released officially in Scandinavia. It replaces JVB, which as been pulled from kies probably because it had some bugs.
JVA I am not sure that it was released officially. We got it after JVB but the build date is prior.
JVK was a leaked beta for the UK. The first gingerbread we have had.
JVH doesn't seem to have Romanian, sorry (unless it's spelled something I didn't recognize). Not sure about the others.
JVH languages :
Cestina
Dansk
Deutcsch (germany, austria, swizterland
English (Australia, Ireland, NZ, South Africa, UK, USA)
Spanish (Spain, USA)
Estonian
French (France, swizterland)
Icelandic
Irish
Italian
Kazakh
Latviesu
Lietuviu
Magyar
Nerderlands (Belgium, Netherlands)
Norwegian
Polish
Português
Slevencina
Suomi
Svenska
Turkce
Greek
Russian
Ukrainian
1 east-asian language that I can't type, I would guess Korean
JVB Swype languages :
UK, US English
Cestina
Nederlands
Français (azerty keyboard)
Deutsch
Greek
Magyar
Italiano
Korean (I guess)
Polski
Português Europeu
Slovencina
Espanol
Türkçe

hi i'm struggling to find the answer to this even simpler question:
what does jvh/jvb indicate? I'm running a jvb ROM (debusROM). I dont even know what that means, other than knowing that JVH is supposed to be better, and JVH kernels aren't compatible with my JVB ROM...
Could someone please explain or point me in the direction of a thread that does?
thanks

Hello Everyone,
I have an old HTC Dream (T-Mobile G1), and as the time goes by new versions of Android are released and those versions make my phone slower.
So, and because I want to have my phone the most updated possible, I've been searching for fast and stable roms for it.
And, by luck, I've found the Froyo by Laszlo rom which works great (since all gingerbread roms are too slow). There is only one problem, the rom includes all kind of languages but not the one I want, Portuguese, and since I've got problems to understand English well it is a little bit hard to me.
Can someone please help me adding the Portuguese (and/or French) language to this rom ?
Thanks in Advance,
Luis Da Costa
adding languages
i also wonder about adding language possibility to a framework in a custom rom too. i have a korean rom base and while i was modding, i saw that the containing language database only includes korean, japanese, chinese, portuguese and english.
i'm looking for a way to import languages like turkish, german, french etc.
can anybody help or show me the way of this experience's possibility?
