[Q] Ingress (Google Game)

Its not working for me, stuck at "Booting nyantic software..."
Im in stock rom, just rooted and twrp recovery, tried with coCore kernel 4, same result.
I had the same problem with Galaxy SL (i9003) but when I updated to a custom 4.1 rom it worked fine.
So I am wondering if anyone could figure out how to make it work with this device.

I have a stock non rooted rom,
I installed the app it ask for allow permission to google account, i clicked allow, for me it is asking a activation code. Someone knows what is it.

I just tried on JetMOD, and I past that "Booting nyantic software..." It demands activation code too.

it doesnt ask me for google app engine permission, still just stuck at booting... what rom are u in? also i9070 or i9070p? if 2.3.6 stock which variant?

Permission is asked after that where you stuck. And after that it ask for activation code.

I tried that link but no use

use it > MFYGBX86, I know it have to ask by default for permission but it doesnt. So its still stuck at that booting screen. I tested it in a tablet with 4.1 firmware and worked -.- but I need it to work on my phone >.<

JetMOD have build.prop set to be 4.1.2. Try to change it to that.

EDIT: tried and nothing happened
it is only me that cant play? account related issue? what's your base band / rom / kernel?

It gives activation code validation failed.
Plz give a code. How to get it.

I cant put the code either..stuck in boot niantic..maybe its a google services problem..because i have jetmod in my phone

To all having this issue, I can finally say I have found a solution FIX, someone posted a modified version for MDPI devices (I know it is not a mdpi) that worked like a charm, I just installed the .apk and worked flawlesly, then installed normal 1.12.5 .apk over it and still working. It seems like its an issue with the app that must be fixed.

I installed it, ut is asking for activation code. Plz someone tell activation code. I put the above activation code" MFYGBX86"
It says invalid.

There is no 4.1 for our phone still, have you read the forum? There is no 1000 threads, so it would be difficult. We are expecting JB this month.
So nice that people open new thread, for question that was asked allready... There is even a thred with name "Jelly Bean comming soon"...

[Q] my cell is not turning on after i install a small update

i got a little update yestarday on my galaxy s advance i was not aware what was it size was 8 mb , today i instal that update after insatlling update my cell turned off now its not not turning on plz help me

Download mode, recovery? (Power it on with volume down + Home + Power) If you get download mode, search topic How to use odin in our dev section. And reflash your stock, downloaded from sammobile.com.

How can a official update brick your phone?
As far as i know this only happens when you are using custom Rom or Kernel right?

You didn't tell us did you have stock or custom system bofore. If custom, this problem is caused by that I think. If nothing shows up probably you will have to go to service.

If a phone is not entering recovery or download then Using usb jig is it possible to enter download mode ??

Hey, you fixed it? How much did you pay in your country?

My friend had a similar problem with s2.. Samsung service center people fixed it for free..

which is the best stock firmware?

I'd say the Indian, German and the Poland firmwares are so far the best ones....
Then comes the Russian (LQ4) and Serbian (LQB) firmwares... (Hope I got the code numbers correct )

Stock with custom kernel or wait until cm10 gets finished. Thats personal, but there is much placebo going around.
The only problem i had with stock rom was the camera app freezin.

Indian firmware I hear is good, but I heard that sends a message to install or something. I heard German firmware has no options on the lockscreen and Poland .. I do not know what to say.

Indian firmware is good, it sends only one message, to register the device.. otherwise you can use LQ4 or LQB...am still on lq4 with custom kernel.. hasn't given me any problems yet.. working beautifully..

Ok, I think Jelly Bean Update will not come, see the last GB Build " June 4" they are only working with GB.
Now we can post here any news about the JB update and dont spam another thread...

Making GB builds in 2013 should be illegal in Samsung...but the carriers knows better.

i completey agree....its gonna b used 2 sell more sgm2's when the sells slow down while running gingerbread...all about marketing

Beam got JB

Actually it said that official samsung update will be out around the end of next month, so probably jena will get updated around there, IF it get JB..

Nice news, its build date is from June 1st.
But Beam has the same hardware as Ace 2, sans the projector. And Ace 2 got JB some time ago.

That update for the Beam was leaked by Sammobile, so it didn't receive the update officialy yet.
That means that probably Beam will be the next device to get JB. Then will be the Galaxy S Duos and finally the Mini 2. Or maybe the mini 2 first and then the S Duos...
So I think we will see the update at the middle of summer.
If there will be an update, of course.
