And can I delete them?
No one? Anyone?
You can delete whatever you want. You don't need our permission to delete stuff from YOUR CARD.
Note: the "LOST.DIR" directory will come back if you delete it. It is basically the same as the lost+found directory that is conventional to unix filesystems -- the android implementation of fat32 uses the "LOST.DIR" for the same purpose even though this type of file checking is not standard for MS-trash filesystems.

I meant if it was safe to delete the diskcache items.
Thank you for the side note I learn a little more everyday.

opps, let me add, leave LOST.DIR and svox. they will just be recreated, so there's no point.
I did thank you.
I am replacing my EFS folder using ES File explorer with root permissions, but when I paste it to overwrite the EFS folder, I get an error:
"No enough space!
Required space:2.00MB
Available space:0.00B"
Not sure what the problem is. Hopefully someone can help me out.:good:

It may create lots problems to you.. As it contains imei info..

Because I flashed CM10 and need to restore my IMEI.
Anway I fixed it on my own. I just pasted the contents of the EFS Folder and it worked!
Also I did have more than enough space, which is why I was confused
Hope this helps others who have the same problem.
Why is it i cannot delete those 2 folders in any explorer in my internal? It it something to do in permision or something else? Need you help here tia
Which error you have from the explorer?
However, if you will erase all your sd, do a full wipe when you're flashing a new rom

Good. You could also have deleted them by using a root explorer and looking for them in /data/media/0 instead of /sdcard.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post. Correct me if it isn't.
My question is if anybody here has used the Kitchen on our device? Is it safe to use?
I have tried to cook a rom with it, but there are some points I'm a little confused about. One of them are the csc code that the kitchen makes a flashable zip out of.
Has someone here been through this?
Are there some things I should be especially aware of?

AK safe yes if instructions are followed
Does it work in I9305 sorry not a clue if it says I9305 is supported then yes .
CSC see csc/ modems thread .
This is where i am stuck:
"You can unzip this file and copy the contents of the 'system'
folder to your ROM's system folder."
In my ROM/system/app folder there already are some apk's with those names. Voicetalk.apk, VideoHub.apk, and MusicHub.apk are already there. The only difference is that the files i copy has a exec. picture on them, and that they are renamed with a "copy" at the end of the file name. The size is also different.
Don't know if i should keep both apk files or if i should delete one of them? In that case, which one of them should i delete?
It would be safer to rename them old...

wouldnt rename them old, just move the copys to another folder and then test the rom, if all seems good leave them out due to taking up space!

Could try it, but there is also an apk in there that doesn't have a copy but with the exec. picture in it. Is it safe to have exec. files in that folder?
EDIT: A little quote problems there lol..

Yeah, i'll look into that. Will have to install superuser later then. But all these apk's are apps? So ROM will work good without them?

Been thinking about buying a cheap one on ebay and try different stuff myself. One without imei or something.
I think i have 5 different backups of imei, one on my phone, one in dropbox, and on some different harddrives..lol.. Backed it up with qpst when i bought it. I've never had any use for it, but i've flashed my phone some hundred times i think. Been in bootloop a couple of times but that's all.
Yeah.. maybe i should go for it and give it a try. The only reason i use this method is because it's pretty hard to find a tool that will deodex on mac.

Hi guys,
This for reporting a thing that is happening to me with my OnePlus3T.
I noticed this issue only for the specific file shown in the screenshots.
The file affected is the only one stored in the "ModdingRen" folder.
I am able to delete the entire "ModdingRen" folder from my PC but the file and the folder are not effectively deleted as I can see from any file explorer app.
More than this, I am not able to delete the file or the folder directly from the smartphone; doing this the operations fails as you can see from the error screenshot.
Have anyone never experienced an issue like this one?
is there an app associated with this folder? kill that app
or try to delete it from /data/media/0/

I was able to successfully delete the file and the folder from the " /data/media/0/" path! Really thanks mate!
Any reason for this?

I know multirom does some trickery to prevent apps from messing with your roms whilst still keeping them available.
