Drop box connectivity

Has anyone been able to connect after flashing HSUPA or Cognition? I am getting errors over 3g when it comes to connecting to the dropbox network.

I just noticed that too.

Had the same problem after the OTA update.

havent had any of those issues with either....network has been excellent

I JUST flashed Cog 2.1 and can't get to Dropbox either thru 3G or WiFi. Got great connections to other sites, email, market, web and so on. This could be a pain
*Edit* P.S. I did not install HSUPA

I just uninstalled dropbox and tried reinstalling it and now I can't even log into it. also noticed my wifi isn't working at all so there must be another problem. might try flashing cognition tomorrow and see what that does.

Any closer to connecting?
I set up the account on my laptop but I can't get connected the android app using HSPA+ or WiFi. It says there's a connecting problem but all my other stuff is working fine (internet, tweetdeck etc). I put in a ticket with dropbox.

Confirming that I can see folders/files, but cannot download anything. Bummer.

I have cognition on mine, non huspa, and dropbox works just fine on 3G and wifi.

Cognition v2.1 - cannot log in to dropbox at all.

tried that after installing cognition. also tried from marketplace and neither worked. any other ideas guys?

I have the same problem after cognition 2.1.1. Also I restore my app + data with titanium after the flash. I unistalled and intall again and now i cant even log in. Before that at least i can view my folders.
ANY suggstions?? THIS is a BIG concern! Thanks

I wish I had a suggestion. On 2,1,2 it would let me log in and view but all downloads failed. I switched to 2.1.4 and now I can't log in at all. I even did all of the clearing of user data and cache.

I had the same problem yesterday night, but after this it worked:
Use Titanium Backup to wipe data
Use Titanium backup to uninstall
Restart the phone
Reinstall from Market
Login (worked on 3G & Wifi Both)

[Q] my wifi stuck in a loop

after i have applied unrevoked forever for s-off/psfservicemod/enable ps fix, for jailbreaking my ps3 my wifi will scan for signals try to connect to my internet says is obtaining an ip but then disconnects all the time and stays in that loop.
i tried applying the unrevoked forever s-on patch but i get an error
e: your device is not supported at this time
with i clearly see in unrevoked forum it is supported.
im running.

I had that problem once, obtaining IP, disconnected....over and over. Thought maybe it was a temporary problem with the CM nightlies, but after a week or so I was so frustrated with it and finally tried to flash back to the old CM 6.0 stable when I knew wifi was working. Well that didn't fix it. I ran the RUU and it still wouldn't work. So, since I was un-rooted, I took it to Sprint. Go figure, it connects to their wifi. But it still won't connect at home, where I've never had a problem, and there are several laptops and phones in this house, and they all connect with no problem. Anyway, not sure what my problem was, but here was my solution:
I reset my router, and as soon as it rebooted, my phone connected.

This not just with my wireless at home this happens with what ever wireless I try to connect to
Obtaing IP...
Unsuccessful.
Disconnected.
Wireless ssid disabled
Samething over and over.

Try Decad3nce #43 from his thread in the development section,download then put it on the root of your sd card boot into recovery and wipe the dalvik cache(what I do) then flash the kernel zip and reboot c if that helps

Try reflashing your old recovery and nandroid back to your last rom that had it working I think I recall reading that its something to do with that recovery or flash Darch 1.7 recovery good luck

i tried reflashing the recovery with AR and still no luck

ok flash AR recovery wiped all data then rebooted and wipe again and then flashed rom, then another wipe and flashed rom again and finally working

try deleting you wireless network from the phone and set it up again. if you have security (wep wpa/psk etc.) on your wifi then disable it and see if you can connect. if it works without the security, try putting the security back and setup the connection on the phone again. sounds to me like the wifi settings for your wireless have become corrupt.

Help please

I need some help. I have a verizon galaxy tab thats rooted and i upgraded to the sprint gb rooted update. Only reason i was using it was for the netflix. Now netflix is working on 2.2 for us so i used heimdall to stock. Success. But now my tab says i have 3g but when i go to the market or web it goes away. I looked in settings and under network it says unknown. Isnt it suppose to verizon there?? Can anyone tell me how to get data back working??

i would try flashing all the way back to the dj11 firmware. then, see if you can get the OTA update to ec02. that might fix it. otherwise, i'm guessing you need to wipe wipe wipe, and reflash stock, then wipe a few more times. sometimes you get artifacts from past installs. especially if you still have a CWM recovery, and other install packages on your sd card.
you could also try flashing to one of boushh's or oldmacnut's kernels, and then go from there to stock. see if that resets the radio/modem issue.

I called them(verizon) and they said somehow they computer wouldn't activate my data connection so that's why it was doing that and he fixed it for me....weird lol

Reboots and FCs with any rom

Hey guys, I've been having those issues since flashing trickdroid mods. Before that i was using cm 10.1 and everything was fine. Later on i tryed PA, PAC, ARHD and a newer CM Version and i still have reboots while accessing the play store installing an app or just turning my phone to landscape mode. Also there are many fcs and heating issues now and then. I did so many full wipes and tried not restoring anything via titanium and still my phone won't be stable at all.
Anyone know what to do? Heeeeelp

It's a problem about some apps.
I'm running trickdroid without any prob.

Haven't had issues for a while but then, again reboots!
Installed Unified Remote via play store (dont think it matters which app I want to install at all), after download completed and install progress began, reboot. Just bootet, received notification from xda app, tapped notification and again reboot.
It's really annoying. Any idea? Maybe switching back to stock or wiping my virtual SD card next time i flash? What might cause this problem and what might help me solve this?

i9305 - No Data Connection after Flashing ROMs

Bit of a puzzler, I can't work out or find anywhere or suggestions why this is happening
Running CM10.1 on a Samsung S3 i9305 LTE since I got it about 6 weeks go. Rooted and running CWM recovery with zero issues, runs CM10.1 perfectly
I thought I'd give other ROMs a try that offer more customization than CM10.1 and supports overclock kernels and JKay frameworks
Tried the following so far, all with the same results. They are all i9305 ROMs, with i9305 kernels. So no mis-flashing
LiquidSmooth
Ripper ROM
rXtreme
The Galaxy Project
Pandorium
Installed Pandorium first and very impressed with all its customization and installed perseus with jkay framework. Spent a while reinstalling my apps, contacts, sms backups, etc, etc while connected via the house wi-fi ... not a single issue
Disconnected the wifi, no data connection. hmmmm, tried everything, reinstalling APN settings, flashing different modems, nothing worked. So spent a2-3 hours stressing I had lost my IMEI and killed my data connection
Reinstalled CM10.1, everything back as normal. Data connection woring as before .... weird
Spent sometime flashing the above ROMs, each and every one exhibit the same issue. All flash perfectly and run from wifi quite happily. Not a single issue, disconnect wifi .... bang, no data connection. In fact totally lost it, no apn data, nothing
Reinstall CM10.1 between each flash, everything working perfectly. data connection back
Between each flash, factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik cache
Each ROM installed perfectly and booted perfectly, BUT I lost my data connection each and everytime ..... until I reflash CM10.1 ad then it all works perfectly normally
Any suggestion would be gratefully appreciated why I lose my data connection when flashing anything BUT CM10.1

You are in the same boat with me. I also have done just like what you did, tried everything. Even worse for me, I have no mobile data on CM10.1. So I'm stuck with stock rom

I've had the same problem for quite some time and thought it was because of the roms i flashed, though through searching for a while i found that it was a simple setting.
There is an app called Twekker that provides you with the APN settings you need and how to apply them to your phone. Install it and follow the instructions. The same instant i pressed save settings i got a stable 4g data connection.
I know it's and old thread, but it showed as top result for me on google. I hope this is helpful for someone.

I found a solution on youtube. You just boot into recovery and flash 2 modem zipped files. It will restore your imei and you will get your data connection back. Im not at home to give you the link but email me at missing shotgun @hotmail.com and ill send you the link.

Hi, could you please help me I have the same issue, no data connection but 2G is working fine, I was looking everywhere for thouse files and have no idea how to where to find tham.
YouTube checked no answer, email to shoutgun send but no answer.

Same Problem here. All KitKat Roms and all Lollipop 5.0 Roms work fine. Every lollipop 5.1 roms fail with mobile data connection
