Hi everyone
My GNote was supplied with a network provided sim, the number of which was subsequently replaced by my existing mobile number (migrated officially via Orange UK).
The About Phone menu still reads the original number and I can't find any files (have tried .props etc) from which this data is read.
Id like to change the number. Any ideas?
Thanks

I have flashed the Darky's v7.0 Gingerbread Edition onto my Telstra branded Galaxy S i9000T.
I can't seem to access my account on the Telstra website anymore as in doesn't recognise my phone number.
Not sure if this is related but on facebook it recognises my phone as a LS670 now where it used to say Galaxy S.
I have changed the Band that the phone uses so it is now using there NextG network.
Any ideas??
Have you changed your apn?

Hi everyone. I installed and ran the recording mode for galaxy gt-7000. I want to ask only one question. Phone calls coming from King Zhou of Shang, the last king of the Chinese Shang Dynasty is the names. Do you have a virus or add-in? Did anyone else pay attention to this situation?
I opened a new topic for that matter the right to send you a reply. sorry.
Go to call setting and disable phone number location
This may be some area of China which may matches to your incoming call number
Recording Mod basically ported front Chinese model i9220 which have such facility

thank you ketan. solved problem.
My son, bought a GT-N7000 off a friend and after rooting the phone and installing CM10.2 rom on it, he cannot make calls on it. Each time you try to make a call, it prompts you that, "mobile network not available" (please see the screenshots). He has tried flashing a stock rom (twice), toggling on & off airplane mode, tried manually configuring the APN, and also choosing the network manually. He has also tried using different sim cards, all to no avail.
Another thing of note is, he can use the mobile network to browse the internet & use apps (you can see evidence of the data signal in the photo), and his IMEI & phone numbers are visible and available. But the phone's serial number doesn't show.
Please any fixes or suggestions would be highly welcomed & appreciated. Thank you.

What are the first 4 digits of the IMEI and how many numbers in all? The note has a tendency to default to a developer imei at times which would cause this issue. If I remember correctly developer imei starts 0049.
If that's OK, may be worth having a look at the pins on the SIM slot, sometimes they can snap, just make sure they're there.

The first four digits are: 3595, and it has 15 digits in all. Next, I'll check the pins on the slim slot. Thank you so much for your input, I highly appreciate it :good:
Need some help. I saw a used i9305 yesterday. On the sticker behind the battery it said i9305. On the startup screen it said i9305. On 'about device' it said i9305. On the (IMEI matched) box though, there was a sticker of T Mobile attached to close the box (obviously ripped now, cause the phone was 2nd hand). Also I think the back had T-Mobile written on it as well.
So is the phone i9305 or T999 (T-Mobiles Variant of the S3)? -
Download from Play Store an app called Genuine Galaxy S3 or something like this and run. It will tell you what model is.

Not enough details to guess the answer .
Settings about phone may help .
Why would you think its not a I9305 does anything say T999 or are you confusing network operator / phone vendor with phone model ???
Probably an I9305 from T-Mobile Germany (or another European branch). Only T-Mobile USA sells the T999.

The top listing in contacts is your own number. I now have a new number from att, but this still shows my old number. How do I change it so my new number is there instead? I've updated my Google account with the new number(at least I think I did it correctly), but it still shows the old number.
Thanks

The number is listed under "my local profile" and I don't have the option to change it.
Does this mean it's because I changed my number but still have the old Sim card?

Adding my new number to my google+ account did the trick.
This was really bugging me.
