Has anyone tried using the k700 with their nexus 10? It works with my galaxy nexus, but I get no response on my nexus 10. Its one of those Logitech wireless keyboards that works with its unifying USB receiver. I have that plugged into a otg cable.

This is amazing, I can use my Apple Bluetooth keyboard on my nexus 7. I'll add a video later.

Yes, any keyboard should work. The special keys won't be there obviously, but any keyboard should just work.
No need for a video. Why is it amazing? Bluetooth is a standard...

My Apple Bluetooth Keyboard does not work on my Xperia Tablet S.
It was suggested to use BlueInput Demo or the expensive full version

Apple Keyboard and Apple Magic Mouse works!
I've tried it with my N7.

I also use my apple Bluetooth keyboard and mouse on my N7. Wife got them with her iMac, then doesn't use them. So why not?
Was so happy to find they both work!

Do the F1 to F12 keys work as expected? I'm thinking about getting one of these keyboards to use both on a mac and also on a Nexus for SSH, so being able to send function keys is crucial for my use case.
Thanks for posting, I found this post searching exactly this question, and you've already answered it for me, I appreciate it.

I am trying to find a working OTG cable for my Nexus 7 2013. If anybody knows of one please provide a link to Amazon. I am planning to hook up a ps3 controller to it.

Hey do you have that rooted? I have the 1st Gen Nexus 7 16gb wifi, & I was wondering is that all u need to get that setup? & is the OTG cable the same for yours as it is for mine?

You need an OTG which are cheap on amazon. You don't need to be rooted. If u are planning on a ps3 controller you need to have another cable that came with the ps3.

Thanks, actually I just did a quick search for myself so I would know exactly which one to get & which one not to get! Apparently there's a few pages about the OTG cable in regard to basically what you want to know as well as me! I seen ppl saying not to get the $2 cheap ass Chinese one.

The G2 is SlimPort. I'm not sure if the N7 is or not, but if so, they should be the same. I use the SlimPort SP1002 but they seem to be harder to locate these days. It has USB in so I can charge while using it as well.
If you're using the older Nexus7, they do not support video out.
If you're using the new Nexus7 2013, then it supports the same slimport standard.
Yes I have 2013 version. Any links via Amazon? ?

So what is everyone using to connect your TF701T to HDMI devices?
A cable.
It has a micro HDMI slot so you just need a cable to plug into it and your TV.

most likely not going to work
it may sit there and charge but with the latest OS Sammy removed the dock feature. i have a car dock i love and i installed Jasmine Rom 2.3 etc.. which is a full OS port of the S5 and its totally gone as far as dock recognition. i would bet good money that N4 will be same as the S5 when it comes to this.
Hmm.
Will there be any way to connect it to tv via hdmi? Also what about external keyboard, mouse and external hard drive. I enjoy it on my Note 2.

not sure and maybe an HDMI dock will work but i would bet against it. i have a very nice dock that has HDMI and 2 USB ports and it works on N3 but not on Tab S or N3 with the S5 Rom.
sad

The note 3 was compatible so I think the 4 will too.

Someone that already has the Note 4 said that the settings options for the dock sound, output, and desk home display are there, so it "should" work. I just bought an OEM Note 2 Multimedia Desktop Charging Dock on eBay that was very cheap, just in case.
I wish they would bring back the two separate docking modes for desk and car mode that the Note 2 had, but I doubt that will happen.
