[Q] Compatibility rom i9305 with shv-e210s - Galaxy S III I9305 (4G LTE + 2GB RAM) Q&A, Help &

Hi,
I have a Galaxy S3 shv-e210s, korean version, which is very similar to the i9305, so my question is:
can I flash a i9305 rom into my e210s? If it's possible, how can I do this? thanks

I do not think it is possible. The hardware (Korean version has T-DMB, for example) and band frequencies are different between the two. You will brick your phone. Sorry.

But the only different frequency is the lte, is this a problem?

Is there any way to flash the i9305 rom in my phone? Thanks

I have a similar inquiry.
I mean, theoretically, the kernel should be the component taking care of the software-hardware interface.
So can it be possible to flash a cyanogen OR AOSP OR AOKP based ROM with a custom compatible SHV-E210S kernel?
I'll admit, I do not have the guts to try this out without a nod from the pros.

I'm in the same boat.
I really want to do this. Has anybody tried?

Absolutely. The only difference between a T and a standard international i9000 is the hardware for the 850 band.

[Q] Official 4.1.2..?

Is there any announcement from Samsung, for official 4.1.2?
When we will expect it..?
"in december ..."
Can't wait..!!!:fingers-crossed:
6. Dezember..."in your boots"
Hope so, cuz Samsung is releasing the 4.1.2 to the I9300 now. Not sure if it will give it to us too or just some updates to make those people ( with I9300 ) happier as they don't have 4G.
Doubt it. I've just checked software update... nothing =(
I hope this come soon to our phones. There are those things that will make this phone better.
can't wait anymore
I just installed ausdims ported version and love it
Screw waiting lol

Why not? They're always like this.
Samsung have released 4.1.2 for the Korean SGS3 which I believe is Exynos Quad Core / 2GB RAM / 4G
Hopefully the i9305 should get the official update soon.

Thanks
Don't forget that it is up to your carriers to push it out to you guys so you may not ever get it (not all that likely though).
Just install a custom ROM and get 4.1.2 now

Official JB update for SGII wil be 03.03.2013, and I wanted to ask a question.I have a rooted phone with Siyah v5.0.1 kernel, with orginal ROM. Can I update my phone to official 4.1.2 with a rooted phone with Siyah kernel ? Or I must unroot my phone and get my stock kernel.

You do not have the N7000 but the korean one with different hardware. You won't find custom roms here.
Search in the
AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717
forum. There you'll find infos about this devices. Please search for threads with "SHV-E160K".

Well i mean the hardware of mine and hardware of N7000 is exactly same
Only difference is i have TV tuner antenna which is common in samsung devices in south korea
As I said: when you checked that the hardware is exactly the same, you can do what you want. No need to ask here if you do not want to listen.
You were directed to where to find roms for your device. If you think its exactly the same then do as you please.
