I'm having major issues with my exhibit. I had it rooted, and when I downloaded something, it rebooted my phone. Now its stuck on the samsung logo and wont go any farther. I've downloaed Odin and Kies. I've tried to do a reset on it but it says the system files are not found. I don't know what else to do. The phone is not under warranty anymore. Any one have any ideas on how I can get it restored?
Do you have a custom recovery?

Ok here is an update. I've installed the latest version of odin, and the correct image for my phone. Odin detects the phone but now it just says "setup connection". How long should all this take?

So I'm stuck in bootloop in ICS stuck for some reason, and trying to flash stock GB.
For some reason my PC cant recognize my phone after the boot loop happened..
If I have tried reinstalling KIES and everything but nothing seems to work. It has something to do with the samsung mpt driver that doesnt install correctly..
How am I supposed to flash kernel and firmware if I cant get the phone to connect?

Well It came up with an update about ICS, so I updated the phone and rooted. After a couple of weeks it just froze, and when I tried to turn it on again it hangs on the samsung logo..
I have tried pulling out the battery and restarting from cwm, but it doesnt work.
Smells like bricking...

Try reflashing stock gb via pc odin. If it works, do a factory reset / wipe on gb. Never do that on ics. Its got the eMMC brick bug. Once done that, flash any other rom that you like.
If the flashing fails at factoryfs writing in pc odin, your phone is affected by the ics brick bug.
If ur phone is still under warranty and your binary count is zero, go to the service center and tell them that your phone wont start after updating. Dont tell them that you had updated a week ago and that you rooted. Claim warranty.
Else you can repartition the internal sdcard using forest's guide or the pit method. Youll loose about 3 gb of the internal space and your brick bug will still haunt.
Claim warranty would be better.

Do you have abyss or custom rom in your phone?
So I just updated the kies windows app and it notified me about the firmware upgrade for my note. After starting the process it properly downloaded the update to the pc and like the normal process, it automatically restarted the phone and started downloading data onto the phone with the 'Downloading..' screen on the phone. The problem is it is stuck at 13% fr the last 1 hour. What to do now?
is it still stuck?
what upgrade was it? do you know the name of the new firmware?

Download it from samfirmware. Com and install it via pc odin. better for now.

if you want to feel lucky, at own risk, disconnect phone, observe failed message and follow instructions on screen to do a special recovery throught Kies.

Did just that, it gave me a recovery code and I followed the steps for emergency recovery. The recovery started properly but now the recovery itself is stuck at 6% for the last 15 mins ;( I am the unluckiest guy in the world. What to do now?
the process has been running in the background the whole time and I did not interfere in any way, didnt remove the usb or put anything else.
Download it from samfirmware. Com and install it via pc odin. better for now.
Ics ota updates or through Kies are notorious for failing half way. Stock with pc Odin as nokiamodeln91 says.

Problem Solved
thanks guys for all the replies but I just solved the problem by basically connecting the phone to another pc.
I installed kies on another pc, and connected the device. On this kies emergency firmware recovery dialog box I entered the recovery code that the earlier pc had shown. The second kies then downloaded a recovery firmware and was successfully able to fully restore the device without any loss of config or data.

I'm a newbie on XDA so pardon anything that I might do "wrong"
So I was using safestrap recovery to play around with some custom roms, and I was going to switch to a new rom so I thought I was going to delete everything from Rom-Slot 1, but actually ended up going to the section where you can check off everything you want to delete from the the rom. I ended up checking all except micro SD card, and ended up deleting all the data from the stock rom by accident. I tried restarting the phone but all I see now is a stuck "Galaxy Note 3" on boot-up.
I've tried using Odin (with the BL AP CP CSC and PIT files ) to flash back and Oneclickbin.exe, but none work. They all give me a fail message shortly (or a couple minutes) after I press start
Additional notes:
Rooted with kingo root
I got the OTA update on the stock rom (The one with the black stock keyboard)
Please Help!!!
How do I fix this?!?!
UPDATE: Problem not fixed, but when I try to turn on the device, it now says:
"Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again"
I plugged my phone in the computer and kies can't connect to the device....

Are you using Kies 3 or just the regular Kies?
Try putting the phone in download mode yourself, then plug into kies 3
Still no

I'm using Kies 3 and tried emergency recovery. It didn't work. Kies 3 actually doesn't even recognize my note 3 as a supported device, but I attempted the recovery anyway. I can get to step in the recovery where the recovery window on my computer says, "Do Not disconnect your device from the PC" but the loading bar never goes past 0%, then after a while it'll give me another fail message...
Try this

Hello,
I have a Verizon S6 Edge, that I need help with. My phone was working fine and yesterday, all of a sudden it turned on, and is now stuck on the "Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Powered by android" screen. It does not go past that. I can't even turn the phone off. I just have to wait for it to die. The phone has never been rooted and I've always just done OTA updates on it. I went to a local Best Buy to get it reflashed with the latest firmware but that still hasn't fixed it. I cannot access the recovery menu, only the download mode. I can also access maintenance mode which gives the option for Normal Boot, factory reset, safe mode, and USB Debugging. I have tried all those options but nothing different happens. I have downloaded the latest firmware from XDA and tried to flash it with ODIN and nothing happened there either. Any help is appreciated, I just don't want to throw my phone away. (I bought it last August)
Thanks!
I have the same problem, but i live in Mx and i can't find the stock rom anywhere. I hope someone can help us.
Hey, sorry to hear you're having issues.
Have you tried contacting Verizon or Samsung support yet?
Galaxy s6 verizon

did you by chance use a pit file for odin as well as a full tar?
you could have messed up the partitions..
try to repartition it using odin or you can always try samsung smart switch emergency repair option etc.

I didn't use any PIT files or anything. I just downloaded the stock OK7 firmware and put that in AP on odin, plugged my phone in under download mode and the update seems to go through fine but it still just boot loops. Doesn't go past the Galaxy S6 Edge screen. However, when I did that, there is now a padlock on my screen when it boots up and it also says custom under it and system status also says custom.

something is not right then.. check the download md5 and what odin version you running?
custom padlock should go away after fresh install of a full odin tar which should be ~1.9gb zip before extracting it

I downloaded the stock one and installed it. Ithe was 1.86 GB. I put the md5 in the AP and that's it. Ithe downloads fine and installs fine on the phone but it just won't go past the boot screen and still has the custom padlock
I have a Tmobile Note 4. I had it rooted and had towel root installed on it. I bought a new phone and removed SD card & installed it in new phone and wiped the card. This was my first mistake. I decided I did not want to keep new phone and tried to go back to my note 4. I tried a factory reset but it only booted into the towel root boot load. I tried using its setting and deleted things there and tried reset. This was my 2nd mistake. Now when you reboot the phone it flashes in blue and says TEAMWIN and goes blank. I can get phone into download mode. So I tried KIES but it says cannot use device. I have tried odin but nothing has worked every thing I try fails. Is there anyone out there that can point me in the right direction? I need to get this phone working. The big problem is I cannot remember what OS version I was running. No backups available either.
Any advice?

Explain why Odin doesn't work? What does it say?
Do you have Samsung drivers installed? Are you using original USB cord? Did you download correct firmware for your device?

Explain why Odin doesn't work?
I do not know why it doesn't work. I used it when I rooted device 2 years ago. I have tried every tmobile rom I could dl.
What does it say? FAIL
Do you have Samsung drivers installed?
YES
Are you using original USB cord?
YES
Did you download correct firmware for your device? I dl every version for my phone.
I booted in towel and in one of the menus i tried to wipe phone. I know all is not lost because I can get into dl mode. Just super frustrated after three days of trying. There has to be a way to completely reformat and clear towel off phone.
