I've installed JB(4.1.2) , Russia , for a while now ... you know
Yesterday I tried to install Cyanogenmod 10 and it got stuck on the boot image of Cyanogenmod in a running circle , and it kept that way for more than 30 mins .
figured out i could re-install JB the same way I did before (Odin3.07)
and it got right ..
but after about five minutes the device doesn't recognize usb when connected ( treats as a charger ) and of course neither does the PC , and The device doesn't recognize the sim card
( have in mind that it had recognized it very good before , and after the installing ... stopped only five mins after re-installing )
So please help me

Turn off - turn on phone and see if USB is working. Do you get that USB icon on top left part of screen?

Cyanogenmod is in alpha phase. It is not for use. RIL is not working, so you do not have signal. Wait for final.

Did you try a other computer? Sometimes the computer fails to identify you device, happend to me 1 time.
Or try Blazr rom, fast stable and very long battery life!
Just put the zip file on your sdcard and copy it to your phone (since your computer doesnt let you connect via usb)
Then go into recovery mode en update via zip file.
See this link for the rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1628639
Everything you need is posted there.

yep, the cable is likely the common cause and problem but not all cables are compatible, best to get original or bring phone and test data mode before buying as charging mode works on all
on the other hand, just examine your usb slot too..a slight misalignment can also cause this problem

What happened with the phone? Have you tried any new thing (kernel, bootloader etc)? Or it just powered off itself? Don't you drobbed the phone (maybe into water etc)?
Sorry for the dumb questions but we should now how things went bad before we recommend a solution.

I was running pungus cm 10 rom in ICS bootloader, the night before the inident(when my phone does not power on../boot ) i flashed the MIUI 4 3.1.11 on ICS Bootloader by rugglez, played with it for few hours....but didnt like the speed and stebility of the rom...then tried to flash..JellyBam 4.1.0 by iGio90 ...but installation got aborted (reason 7 ...i guss), then I flashed back to Pengus CM 10 rom on ICS bootloader. the phone had a clean installation....i installed all my apps and synced the phone......all ready....in the morning I received one phone call too...then i went to sleep ...when i woke up ...found the phone hanged at the start of the camera app with screen bricked...i thought the phone somehow got activated with lockscreen camera shortcut and froze there for some reason.....I pulled out the battery ...and after putting the battery again ...i CAN'T TURN ON my phone.......and when i try to nvflash the phone ..it stucks at "waiting for bootloader to initialize" ...i tried different cables/ usb ports in my laptp and even changed laptop also...but same problem. Just don't understand what went wrong.
**ps, the phone was NOT heated when i found it freezed.
I hope i have explained my situation...thanks for hearing me out.
Even if you have tried I would suggest that you should use the all in one tool kit.....the amazing tool by my friend spyrosk...
Just try it one more time....with another usb port and or cable.don't forget to charge the battery too

There is a CWM flashable stock ROM available.
You should ask some people here how you can use fastboot to flash recovery to your phone (i am more or less a n00b, but did something similar to my xperia once). Ideally I would recommend TWRP, from within TWRP you can mount your phone as USB storage, copy the flash zip and flash it using TWRP.

If you can't fix your device via odin you need JTAG

Have you got the Samsung's drivers installed on your computer? I assume you are using the corret Odin version, so let's go you can try it
Prepare you computer to use Odin and flash a new rom, remove battery and connect your galaxy ace to your computer. Then insert the battery holding VOLUME DOWN + POWER + HOME BUTTONS. Odin should detect your device, (Yellow rectangle) so you are ready ro START the process
