I've been thinking of puting ICS on my thrill. But before I do I'd like to get some feedback from others here on how it compares to GB. Does everything work right, and how is the performance compared between the two?

I have a thrill I use as a backup. I've done both versions of ics. I like berni's pac man rom. But if you absolutely must have 3d then I'd go with the one from xbsa or one of the derivatives built off of it. Make sure you read the install instructions. I like jb or ics much better than gb.
Good luck.

Thank you for your input, I don't really use the 3d that much but I do use the HDMI output quite a bit. Do both of them support the HDMI plug?

JB doesn't support 3d nor HDMI as for ICS I think so

It appears that in the "Development" Section that there are a couple new ROMs available, still waiting on my personal favorite Cyanogenmod to become available for the Optimus 3D (which is the sister phone for the Thrill)
What rom would anyone suggest I use
I mainly want 3d converter tethering mms and 4g
If I could post in the development section I would ask the starters of the threads if they are still working on them

Well you will be hard pressed to get all that, you want converter you will have to install o3d rom but, you will lose 4g and have to setup apn for mms, someone is working on getting all that fixed up right now. Converter only works with I think v10j and v10k based roms, all thriller are v10e. J and K versions are O3D only. All custom roms come with tethering
We're putting together a team Armageddon style to work on Dev. But instead of roughneck experts, it's mostly adventurous rookies. Gah I need a jacket patch for this!!!

+1
I think it would be awesome, because the hardware would take it.
Im not that sure about the hardware really..
Sent from my GT-P7300 using xda premium
Would be great
But I think it could be hard for our 1gh dual core cpu to handle it and maybe would be needed to use proprietary software from Samsung.
That would be awesome!! Is the multiview function working on newer android tabs then?

So i finished the port, but something is wrong with device specifics. Since the build isn't really functional, unless you are an app developer, I'm not going to invest more time into the port. Sorry guys, ill pick it up again when there is a more... useful build available to port.

I actually have a decently functioning d2att port. How to install if interested:
First make a backup
Then wipe data. You can dirty flash if you're already running cm10.1 but don't dirty flashes are a no-no.
Then flash this:
http://db.tt/p4FgJsnN
Then flash this:
http://db.tt/KoRbVtrT
But WiFi/cell service doesn't work at all yet so just understand that before you flash. Also the screen doesn't really shut off. Sort of a pain in the butt but still, its for developers haha.
Oh and also MAKE A BACKUP.
This actually isn't all my work, i just simply modified a few text files. Here is the original thread:

Cm10.1

Unfortunately CM10 doesn't work with HDMI, so in my case it wouldn't suit my needs. I want to use Ubuntu with my lapdock. Does anyone else have any suggestions? I really value the opinion of othe XDA'ers

I would give myfishbear's Eclipse ROM a try. It's stock based so HDMI should still work but it's debloated so shouldn't be as much of a resource hog.
