Hello,
Q) Is there anyone who is using ICS on the galaxy note that is using PDroid successfully?
I know that this is mainly gb roms at the moment but i see some people have managed to port it onto android 4.0
Now im interested is people can/have ported it to the note handset
What mod are you using?
What rom are you using?
Is this possible for stock rooted ics roms?
Very interested to switch over to pdroid from LBE Privacy and would appreciate any help,
Thanks in advance
PDroid
Or can someone point me to a "Note Compatible" gingerbread rom with a suitable PDroid patch, thanks
srsly
Ahh this is ridiculus. I am searching since days for a solution. And I can't get pdroid running on my note. So I too would love to hear an answer to this question.
Hi,
which is the best Jelly Bean Rom for the i9000?
I am just on Helly Bean but it has some lags.
What about Slim Bean and CM10?
What are the differences? Which one is the most stable? Which one runs smooth?
Thanks
There's nothing really fully stable atm, you'll have to wait some time.

I think the best is Elite JB RC12 (4.1.1) / JRO03L with the mod from S3

Please just wait for CyanogenMod 10, I promise it will be worth it
These threads are unneeded and a little stupid. A mod should close it

Yes the answers were not that good so far.
But I hoped this could be a real discussion about the pros and cons of the different roms.

latest v13 build ... jelly bean very smooth/stable /and the lag problems... no problem . I have tried most Jelly Bean roms & it is in my top 2 picks
Works Beautifully
Hi Mate
If you're going to use Jelly Bean, this would be my recommendation
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1820578
It's fast as hell, no bugs/lags or anything that I could pick up in the last 3 days that Im using it. Simply put, one incredible rom from a guy in Turkey. From the look of it, this guy knows what he is doing. It even has OTA, which is an updater that updates your rom without having to format your phone and re-install. I chop and change allot when it comes to operating systems, there's always something new out there, but this one has bowled me over, simply put, one amazing rom.
the best one
tried lots of roms, but combination of magic bean + semaphore 206s kernel works perfectly
I am also wondering the same thing, but I want to know which is the most stable and bug-free ROM.
I want to install it on my girlfriend's phone, but she knows nothing about flashing and she will be away for a few months, so I need something that she won't have to mess around with.
I now have Helly Bean in the latest version on my phone.
It is realy good so far and more or less stable..
But for someone with no experience in this kind of stuff I perhaps would recommend a Gingerbread Rom. I once had MIUI. It is a good experience.
Have you guys get any bugs lately with JB? I seem to install CM10 but I can't access my old photos in my gallery...tried RemIcsJB too.
ive been using elitemovil rc12.1 4.1.1 JRO03L and its been great, no lags, everything has worked for me, no gallery or media issues so far
SlimBean 2.2 is fast smooth and stable for everyday use. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed!

Hello dear xdacom.
I want to ask, if it is possible to port the all stock-apps (settings, camera, new notificationbar and statusbar (systemui?)) from the new XXLSZ to XXLRT (ICS generally)? Because i find XXLSZ very unstable, and it is freezing all the time for me, but XXLRT isnt, and i like the new theme very much.
Best regards
No
with correct flashing procedure official JB is stable. even leak JB was very stable.
so the problem is not JB.
search and learn.
good luck

Ok guys, i'm not new to xda, and flashing phones, unlocking, rooting, and everything, but i just got this phone few days ago and it has stock 4.0.4 rom and i heard that JB 4.2 has better performance than 4.0.4 and i see a lot of JB roms out here but i can't decide which one is better??? So my question is what JB rom to try??? I need everything working as on stock 4.0.4 but i need your opinion which one to try??? Every comment is appreciated and everyone will get a thanx... My goal is to have everything working without major problems as on stock 4.0.4 but if possible with better performance in games and multitasking... Just give any comments and links on what you think it is the best.... Thanx in advance!!!! :good:
First of all, if you're looking for a stable release, don't go for JB 4.2.x yet. It's still buggy (take a look at the threads)
If you're looking for a stable, smooth and fast Jelly Bean ROM, go for CM10 based ones. My preferate ones are (for now):
CyanGalOp : minimalistic CM10 ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=40337909
and
ParanoidAndroid CM10 : Full featured CM10 ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2097807
If you realy look for Jelly Bean 4.2.2, then the following one should be considered:
Avatar ROM : Verry interresting one
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2167192
It's my actual own choice until other ROMs pass behind (life is like that).
BUT : Don't forget that till now, if you go for JB you will loose your ICS features like : FM Radio and correct HDMI output.
Paranoid Android!
Hi,
I've just updated to Ultimate N7000 XXLT4 JellyBean 4.1.2 v6 (many thanks to joosh3 again, the videos are so clear about the update, and the ROM seems to be nice even though I haven't tested it for a long time yet).
Yet, I have a question: right after the flash, I had a Samsung's notification about a firmware update (ntg to do with OTA UltimateN7000 update). Am I supposed to do this one? Or should I just ignore it?
Thanks in advance for your answer!
Please provide a screenshot, if possible.. cause I guess this seems a lot unclear
