Someone have the logo_signed for Retail EU JB? I just want it to quit this message "Warning Unlocked"

Yup
Only thing I can think of is downgrading the boot loader... But Motorola stated the radio and boot loader cannot be flashed away from the current required signature, this would include secure version checks I'd assume. Which explains why people bricked trying to RSD back to ICS after doing the full ota update.

So.. I have to live with this horrible message? its sad...
AW: [Q] Help Unlocked Bootloader Message
We can downgrade with RSD if the Bootloader is unlocked. But we have to delete the line gpt.bin and motoboot.
I had to do it by myself today, because my i won't boot into the System or recovery anymore. I tried some stuff today. Switching between the full OTA's.
I was able to switch from EU JB OTA to O2 JB with the Homemades. But after i tried to revert back to EU JB with the same method the OTA aborted by setting simlinks and permissions. No Recovery was working (CWM or Stock) and it stucked @ the warning Logo.
RSD saved my ass and i did an Backup of my Retail EU JB before i started to mess around. So i'm back on track

So, with JB, who used homemade fastboot AND DON'T USED OTA (capital to alert others), can still change the logo the same way?

So Matt there's no way to change the logo on devices unlocked with OTA JB Retail.EU that have the Unlock Warning Message?
It shows that message coming from a particular sector of the kernel? The BMP code is embedded?
Thx in advance

I need to get my XT890 back to a stock unrooted condition so that I can install my company's corporate email app which cannot be installed on rooted phone.
I purchased the phone used. It came with unlocked bootloader but didn't seem to be rooted. It was a Retail GB version of ICS when I got it and it got OTA Jelly Bean update about a month ago.
I had some help from my company's IT department and now have a somewhat-bricked XT890. I am able to use the volume down-power combination to get to the recovery menu but nothing works. Getting to the recovery or normal boot options results just in hanging (the power down option does work)
I can also access the device via fastboot but can't seem to flash it back to good state. I downloaded a Retail GB group of images and attempted to flash using fastboot as well as using RSDLite 6.1.4.
With fastboot, I got as far as flashing the system, but it failed with comments about block size being too big (or something like that). RSDLite fails on the first step of flashing the GPT.
Is it possible to get this phone back to stock condition (including locked bootloader)? If so, can someone help a relative noob with detailed descriptions?
TIA.

Flash this one. Your Bootloader seems to be locked. If it where unlocked, the gpt. bin would have been passed and you would have an hard bricked Device.
DON'T USE ICS FILES AFTER UPDATING TO JB!

When I enter "fastboot oem unlock" with the code I got from Moto, i get an error that the boot loader is already unlocked.
RSDLite fails at the first step when i use the download you provided.
If I enter "fastboot flash gpt gpt_signed", then I get a message "target reported max download size of 104857600 bytes"
"sending gpt (32kb)"
"Battery low"
FAILED (remote failure)
Connect your Wall Charger while you're booted into AP. Let it charge for an hour to get it back to Battery OK.
You can't flash anything with Battery Low.

We are in agreement about ICS/JB downgrading I see! If you ever allow PM I'll tell you what I've been up to!
As for the OP, apparently versions of RSD lite before 6.0 didn't accept blocks larger than 100mb I was told. 6.1 should be good.

Yes it will wipe clean everything. Just like the day you bought it from VZW. You will need to root again as well.

This is a time where I wish android had a stable backup option not requiring root. Normally I use titanium backup however I'm keeping this stock. iOS has nailed this with iCloud.

One thing that I forgot to add is you need to remove the getvar line in the .xml file.
I can only say this works for VZW. Not sure about other carriers.
so can someone post that they have returned to 4.2.2 from 4.4 on a locked bootloader vzw device please. I know people said you can, or it worked or whatever. But i just want to make sure that you are on a locked device and didn't misread the thread title or something.
yeah, post screen shots of kernel, etc.
I have personally done this on my LOCKED VZW Moto X.
Works like a charm. The RSD Lite, will flash it back to factory unrooted 4.2.2. You will have to use http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2509590 to reroot if you want.

Steps that I took to downgrade from KitKat. VZW Moto X Consumer (non-dev) (LOCKED)
1) download and install RSDlite and Motorola Drivers (I used RSDlite 6.1.5)
2) Download http://sbfdownload.droid-developers...2-13.9.0Q2.X-116-MX-17-57-X-1_CFC_1FF.xml.zip
3) Unzip the file
4) Open the .xml file and delete the line that has "getvar"
5) Reboot your phone to "bootloader/fastboot" mode
6) Open RSDlite and load the unzipped edited download from above
7) Make sure your phone shows up
8) Start the flash
9) Once complete the phone should reboot and start up like normal.
I have not had any issues. I have rerooted with RockMyMoto.
Hey, i would like to update from ics to jb but what is the difference between using an ota and flashing a firmware from the sbf droid developers site or even here?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2239706
I have bootloader unlocked and ics rooted already if that makes any difference.
I recomend a lot install the jb firmware and not usibg the ota service, for avoid phone bricks, also, if you install the jb firmware with rsd lite, you have the posibility to return to ics without brick (i dont know why you will return but its a extra)

That's not entirely true that u cant go back when u have installed it by OTA update. With rsd and with ota update u will upgrade some files exactly the same way with both methods, that must not be downgraded. Those files are the bootloader and partition files aka motoboot, gpt, dns, ifwi and (bos?).
I recommend if u ever want to downgrade, flash all things manually. Flash the boot, recovery and system partitions only when going from JB to ICS and erase the cache/data partition or u will get a software-brick. Is fixable though.
But to go from ICS to JB (upgrade), I go with Marco for the rsd flash. Especially when rooted i think. There is a small change that u will relock the bootloader, but i don't know that for sure. However it should work with OTA in theory if u have stock recovery...
Thanks alot guys I updated with rsd lite and it worked my bootloader is still unlocked, but i noticed the when i boot up, the initial screen changed from the motorola logo with "bootloader unlocked" written, to a sort of warning notification about the bootloader being unlocked.
Hazou thats exactly what i wanted to know actually because i was confused about the downgrading process, seeing that many have hard-bricked. One more question, you say i must flash those files individually, but what about restoring a nandroid backup i made when on ics?

No problem, as long as u don't touch any of those bootloader files there is almost no chance that things can go wrong.

I'd like to return to stock directly to 4.4.2, and found this, but apparently the link for AHD is down. Anyone know if there's a mirror for it?
I currently have Blisspop installed. No ADB detection (adb turned on, phone says connected but PC doesn't see it), and fastboot isn't being detected. Anyone able to help?

I did after a bit of re-learning. Was on LGG2 for a while but it broke so I'm back on the HD. Turns out there is no official KitKat for the HD, that page is misleading and I've been spamming "System updates" on stock for half an hour.
Back on stock now (obviously) and can't manage to get CWM or PhilZ working, manually or through Myth. Just the stupid broken android. It's midnight here, so that's probably playing a factor in it. More tinkering tomorrow...

Okay, well I done did it this time. Got up to stock ATT 4.1.1, then when I learned 4.4.2 isn't actually available yet, flashed Blisspop, which ran terribly, trying to go back to stock again with same fxz, trying to update to 4.1.1, the update gives me invalid GPT, stuck in fastboot, and apparently my bootloader got re-locked.
Any attempt to flash anything through fastboot returns a remote failure. Think I may be ****ed here.

Your bootloader is not re-locked, just your gpt partition has been made invalid by gpt downgrade done by OTA (and because of that, the lock status can't be correctly determined by bootloader anymore).
All you have to do to fix it is to extract the gpt partition from the latest att OTA update and flash it via fastboot.
(I assume that you've been on the second aka latest 4.1.1 update from att [98.5.38], then downgraded to 4.0.4 by fxz while skipping gpt and tz flash, then took ota to the first 4.1.1 att update [98.4.20], resulting in downgraded gpt, because the actual gpt on your device before you took the ota was the newer one from the second 4.1.1 att ota [98.5.38].)
EDIT:
The latest att ota is attached to this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52657363&postcount=13
Extract gpt_main0.bin from the zip and flash it:
Code:
fastboot flash partition gpt_main0.bin

Thank you, you're a life saver! Re-learning everything about the AHD, got it for another 2 years.
So, as the title says, I had a Moto X XT1058 from AT&T.
I updated a long time ago to Lollipop and the phone worked perfectly fine until yesterday, when suddenly shutted down and when I restarted, got stuck on M logo.
I restarted to bootloader(?) pressing power off and vol down buttons.
The version that shows me is 30.BE
The device wasn't unlocked or rooted, because I was happy with the stock ROM, so it says Device is LOCKED ans Status Code 0.
I tried every option on this menu and everyone says (in red):
"No valid PIV block in SP for system
piv validation failed (system)
Boot up failed"
I tryed with abd, fastboot, mfastboot and RSDLite to flash gpt.bin and motoboot.img and every time I do it I get a error, and the operation fails.
For what I've read in tooooooo many posts, it's probably death, but I resist to this idea, so I came here to ask for advice.
THE PHONE IS NOT IN WARRANTY ANY MORE.
Thanks in advance and sorry for my english (not my native language).
