My galaxy ace was from Dubai having an arabian firmware, I went through a wrong root but nothing happened to the phone, Later while installing my backup(stock) rom and factory resetting, the phone would not switch on but restarted every time it reached samsung logo preview....
While trying to fix it, It got worse as my phone would switch on having a small Mobile logo and a computer logo with a cross sign in yellow b/w them! It does not go into recovery but just in download mode.....however i tried flashing it but the flashing stucks at Setup connection in ODIN.....!?
Also my download mode is without any yellow picture but just written DOWNLOADING
I dont have that much money to give it to service centre! HELP!!!
.....!???
Check your drivers first...If you dont have Kies, install it...Then try to flash stock via Odin, but you must turn off Kies..
re-download firmware ... make sure ace is recognized ... flash the firmware the correct way
one packace and right ops ... and you're out!
and by the way ... you were in a simple fix bootloop ... next time just erase data ... and you'll be out of it!
Something still confuses me!

But what does this sign means when i turn on my ace Mobile and a computer having a yellow cross b/w them!
and whats the reason for odin to stuck at Setup Connection, is kies responsible for this!?

@ OP : This might happen when you have unplugged your device when in the midst of flashing via Odin. A fresh flash via Odin should fix everything.

Ok, so I Flash rocket rom on my note and when i rebooted the phone it stucks on the screen of samsung galaxy note, i can not enter to CMW mode so i can do anything...What do i do? i think i just screw up my cellphone please help me
Probably get a usb jig. Take your battery off.. Insert battery and connect jig. Your phone will boot into download mode. Then remove jig and connect your data cable and flash any stock Rom via odin

Go to this site http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3 and you will find Odin 1.85. Firmware for your country/region and flashguide. Register first, it`s free
It`s not so hard: download Odin 1.85, download the right firmware.
Put the firmware in PDA in Odin, close Kies and kies trayagent and PDLR in your windows toolbar (rightclick and go to taskmanager), put your phone in downloadmode, connect with computer and when you see ADDED in the left corner window of Odin and the the ID.com left upper window turns yellow press start and flash and let it boot. Done

Hence, i was told to use odin1.85 to flash back the stock rom.... during the progress... it stuck on factoryfs.img
have did some battery pull for 5-10mins, use different pc, different usb cable... also no use.
Does that means i need to pay samsung to restore back for me?
Hello guys, even I am stuck factoryfs.img when trying to flash stock ROM.
I bricked my phone trying to install rocket ROM ICS.
I am using PC ODIN and LA5 firmware, I tired KL3 too, but no luck. I am just stuck at around 95% with odin saying flashing factoryfs.img.
PLEASE HELP
If you are able to enter recover, wipe cache, wipe delvic cache, wipe off data
then reflash
I am not able to enter into recovery. Only download mode is working, but when trying to flash the stock rom, it is stuck at factoryfs.img.
You may try different ROM

Not specific, you select any different, n as balok said connect directly to usb port, n close if antivirus running. Better download rom without antivirus, some time antivirus can cause problem, if any component of rom falsely consider as trojan.

After i used odin and it took forever and did not start at all, i removed the usb cable and now when i start up its always an icon of a fone n a triangle wif a ! in it and a computer bside it HELP PLS!!!! HOW COULD I FIX THIS?!?!
did you flash the correct firmware.check your device model and download the suitsble version and try flashing again.if you go to boot screen then remove your battery and goto stock recovery and wipe data and cache.dont panic just search and read you may get a solution.
Restore it then flash it again. That's why you always back up. If you didn't back up download the official firmware then root it again

Hello! S3 Lte (i9305) of my friend is bricked and gave me to solve this problem.. I have never been this stage and I have no idea .. Flashing offical rom with odion is stucked at hidden for so long and reflashed the rom several time but still stuck at Hidden, so I reflashed the offical rom with checking Auto reboot, Nand-erase , and F.Rest.. After checking Nand-erase, rom is flashed successfully but there was no partition .. So I reflash with pit file and repartition but still stuck at Get PIT for mapping.. in flashing .... How i can solve this! Plz help me! I only add PDA and PIT ..
Need other file like CSC,etc (I don't know excatly what are they) This is my 1st experience with bricked Samsung...
Sry for my bad english..
Screen shoot of odion
Before reading, the steps I used is to completely reformat the phone leaving nothing behind.
I have bricked my phone before. What I did is:
1. Download the stock firmware of your phone on sammobile (depends on your country and service provider)
2. Put your phone into download mode (off and on your phone. When it goes to Samsung title screen, press home, off and volume down button at the same time.)
3. Connect your pc to your phone and open odin.
4. Check and see if the message shows pass.
5. Under bootloader, open the md5 file that you downloaded before.
6. Start and wait till it finish.
7. Check your phone and reconfigure as if you have a new phone.
Hope this helps

Hi
What version of s3 mini you have?
What you have checked on Odin when you first time flash rom?
Try to go to recovery mode, then clean cache and dalvik, then restore to factory in download and wait. System start after few minutes. If now pull out the battery over few minutes, put it back and go to download mode and try again install latest official rom for your model of phone by Odin. Then it restart and take ~3 to 5min before you see first configuration screen.
