Does everyone know if all the added features of the dock works with the Atrix HD? I'm wondering if the video out works from it...
I thought the Lapdock 500 was not compatible
You have to have the stock rom installed for hdmi output and the extra features do work but it is just a mirror experience

What's the difference compared to the standard Youtube that has HQ support already? Can't imagine the quality getting any better since in HQ things look great on the G tablet.
Since gtablet has 720p support, I would like to take advantage of that. Also, 480p<720p

the gtabs screen isnt 720p so what is the point of viewing 720p on it? the 720p support is more for viewing video via hdmi out.
I think you are confusing the 1024x600 10.1" display with the actual output resolution like Maxdamage said.
Are there any other kernels (or ways) to achieve this other than ElementalX/Bulletproof? I'm keeping my eyes on his threads here and it looks like the dev's last comments indicated he'd build it again, but we can't be sure and it's certainly understandable since he doesn't even own the Sprint version.
So, anyone figure another way out to do it? Any other kernels or tricks? I've combed the internet seeing if there was the possibility that an older MHL to HDMI adapter that was only designed for 720p could trick the phone into outputting 720p, but they always seem to offer at least 1080i.
Thoughts?
I recently purchase the At&t S4 active and a pairs of Sennheiser MM-550X,
Those of you who don't know apt-x is codec for bluetooth to keep the sound quality as the original (really close to) source sound files,
in compare to normal Bluetooth which downgrade sound quality to near 120Kbps.
SGS4 active supposed to support this but on the web there's so little information about it,
So.. I want to know how can i confirm Mine got the Apt-x? from what I heard some android version Not support this..
Does Acid audio engine support this?
Is anyone tried?
Thanks!

Also interested, how to make sure that APT-X is working on new 4.4 Kitkat stock ROM? Thx!
Sorry for bumping this thread.
I would also like to know if there is a possible way of seeing if APT-x is active.
From my experience, I don't seem to hear any difference in quality between my S4 and iPad, but the iPad does not support APT-x.
The quality sounds terrible compared to a wired connection, loosing fine detail present in a 320kbps track. It also sounds compressed as well.
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is there any way to improve the actual output resolution when mirroring the screen?
I bought a HDMI cable and the mirroring works great on CM11, but it is being upscaled from the low-res screen of the Droid4 to my 47" 1080p TV.
I tried the SecondScreen app but all it does for me is change the dpi and by that make stuff even worse on the tv.

Im on NIGHTLY from about a week ago.
I recently installed limelight and was able to stream games on my nook HD plus. However, I don't have any controllers to play with. Could anyone suggest a good compatible controller, if possible with links ?

The best way is to get a Bluetooth controller like the PS3 controller. I have used my 360 wired controller with success using a female to female USB adapter and downloading an app but its not the most efficient way. Like I said, any good Bluetooth controller should work great.

How do you like limelight? What kind of lag, if any, do you experience? Just read about the software the other day.

Well I faced a small amount of lag, but not enough to effect gameplay; atleast for Shadow of Mordor. Btw, turning off Wi-Fi on other devices helped reduce lag greatly. Overall, limelight seems to be better than both Splashtop and Kainy with the only requirement being that you have an nvidia graphics card.
