Hi guys, i have a very big problem. I think i may have bricked my smartphone.
I've installed the Cyanogenmod 10 by ivendor from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2000828
I already searched the whole net but i never found the exact same "symtoms", here they are:
If i start the Handy it stops at the Samsung Galaxy s plus/Cyanogenmod Screen, but after a few Minutes the screen get's dark and nothing else happens.
Also if i push the menu or return button the light get's on and doesn't off anymore.
It's impossible to get into recovery mode. If i try the screen get's black and again after pushing the menu button it lights on.
I also already tried to flash it again to a stock rom, because the download mode still works.
But after the flashing it won't reboot and if i reset, the bootscreen hasn't changed a bit the cyanogenmod logo is still there.
So i believe, that the flashing didn't work.
Another thing is, that i installed several clockworkmods to get my smarthphone back.
If you have a solution please help me, going to school without music is very bad :crying:
I forgot to mention, that if i load the phone while it's off. The normal shown batterie only shows an stuck loading circle.

Flash BroodROM RC5 with odin http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1396837
That should get your phone working again
Make sure to stick with the instructions.
Next time when flashing a new rom make sure to use the correct recovery and that you have downloaded the new ROM fully
---------- Post added at 02:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:05 PM ----------
Further more - I would flash the alpha 7 version of ivendors rom which seems to be more stable.

I tried the BroodRom but there is this error on the download screen that says: MCC Boot: MBR read failed
So, i just tried factory flash by "recovery --wipe_data" with adb but it just says: "/sbin/postrecoveryboot.sh not found"

Hey guys,
i get a big problem.
Today the official Galaxy Note ICS update comes out.
I flashed a stock Gingerbread-Rom, but i could not update to the ICS upgrade OTA.
So i wanted to flash an older Stock-Rom, but i flashed a ROM from my Galaxy S i9000 accidently with Odin.
The Process stopped at "Set partition" and nothing more happened. The Phone wasn't reacting either. So i took off the USB-cable and the battery.
Now my Galaxy Note don't ract on anything.
I tried to get into Download-Mode with 3-Button-Combo.
Nothing happened.
I tried it with a USB-Jig.
Nothing happened.
After that i tried the 3-Button-Combo, because i've read that maybe the Phone was on, but the screen doesnt works.
Odin doesnt recognized the Phone.
So i place the Phone in the Package and put it away.
Some Minutes ago i took it off the Package and it was very warm.
I dont take the battery out when i put it away.
Is it possible that the Phone is online and that there is a possibility that i can restore my Phone without sending it to Samsung?
Greetings
XStormX12
sounds like you have bricked it and will need to get samsung to repair it

The correct link to force your phone into download mode
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1257434
Hi
Firstly, I'm sorry about my incorrect english.
I have a big problem with my rooted Galaxy Note Stock ICS 4.0.4.
After a phone restore (done in the Options menu) I encountered a boot problem.
When I turn the phone on, I see the white Galaxy Note GT-7000 writing and then
the Samsung Galaxy boot logo which continues flashing all the time but the
OS isn't booting. There isn't a boot loop which restarts the phone, only the blinking
Samsung animation.
I do really not know much about Android, rooting, flashing etc so I don't know what
is the problem and what I can do to fix it.
Recently I did a data/factory reset and cache partition wipe in the recovery mode,
hoping that this could help, but that didn't change anything.
After that I flashed another stock rom (ICS 4.0.4 Switzerland (Swisscom)) with
Odin in download mode, but there's still the endless boot problem.
I read about brick and that its not recommended to wipe anyting.
What could be my problem and how could I resolve it?
I'm sorry if theres just another thread which speaks about the same problem, but I
didn't find anyone with the identical situation as mine.
I'm very grateful for any answers.
hmm.. it could be because of data partition corruption..
download this http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ukk00n20dahxxkp
place it on external SD.. boot into recovery and choose apply update from ext storage
once done. boot into recovery again.. now ... in the new CWM. do
factory reset., wipe cache partition
advanced menu> wipe dalvik cache
reboot
Hi,
thank you for your answer. But perhaps as I turned the phone on the first time
since yesterday (i didn't do anything since), I'm not anymore able to go into recovery mode
and the boot process ends just at the white Galaxy Note writing (without bootloop, there's
only the static text)
Only the download mode works fine, but obviously I cant install your file from there...
If you can get into download mode, better flash a stock ics rom first. After the flash is successful you can try to do the procedure as in my previous post.
I tried to flash different roms (also stock ones) but the download of the "factoryfs.img" doesn't finish.
The only thing I could do is to interrupt the downloading and restart from the beginning.
I read that this problem happens sometimes and that it could be resolved rebooting the phone and
the pc, but I didn't got it working
Do you know why it doesn't work? The first time I flashed successfully, but that was the first and the last time.
I don't even get an error or a fail notification...

If Odin stops at "factoryfs.img" you bricked your device.
(I wrote this and the following lines a few times now in the last days, but the different OP are consequently ignoring the message and try other intelligent approaches, in the end they will not succeed, because their Note is still bricked).
Solution: Samsung replaces your motherboard (that is the only real repair).
Workaround: eMMC scanner and repartition trick in hg42's threads.
Nothing else will help if your device is bricked.

i know what you are getting to but till one is completely satisfied that the phone is bricked, they wouldnt go about repartitioned the memory and loose 3 GB... at least i wouldnt and i am sure no one will till all possible scenarios are exhausted, So try to be a little positive..

You said something about loosing 3 GB repartitioning the memory. Its possible to revive the phone by this way?
Does anyone know approximately how much it will cost me to replace the motherboard of the Note?
download this PIT file http://d-h.st/FVh
now put the phone in download mode again, open odin and select the PIT file in the PIT tab. also make sure repartition is checked.
select the rom in PDA (if more that one file for rom, choose appropriate options)
connect the phone .. when the port is shows in odin flash again,,, check if this also stops at the same factoryfs

if you have warranty thats the first one to do. if not then there is a way by repartitioning the memory to skip the bad blocks, not a guaranteed method but works most of the time. cost of motherboard is high about 350-400$
One final try. If you are able to go recovery mode, pressing volume up, home, power buttons, flash abyss kernel 4.2, do all wipes and formats and flash a custom rom such as kingdroid.

Thank you for your attempt helping me. Perhaps the flashing still fails (factoryfs.img could not be downloaded entirely).
Damn, 350-400$ only for the motherboard is a lot, considering that I bought this almost new phone for around 340$...
Isn't there any other way to get rid of the "brick"? I would accept any loss of memory just to get the phone working...
By the way is it a soft- or a hardbrick?

I have N-7000. Its doesn't start anymore. Only "Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000" sign with yellow sign.
What did I do?
1. Changed with cyanogenmod installer my system to: cm 10.2 - it was working well. (still had full internal-card with thing i dont need)
2. Wanted Sweet Rom V 11.1
2.1. installed over recovery mod the newest philz cernel (from 08.06.2014, if i remember right)
2.2. installed the rom over recovery after wipings (all how decribed, did no mistakes)
2.3 restarted system, setup-wizard stoped (to full internal-sd-card)
2.4 so i went to recovery and wiped again things, like described in thread of sweet rom + i wiped additionally partion
2.5 restart system: everything was good and runnig well (but bit laggy) ! my sd-card was still full
3. i decided to delete everything from my internal: went to settings and choosed option: "save and recover" and then said: delete all.
Now my phone dont start anymore!
Connected to windows, it makes a sound, like somethng was conected but nothing appears there. (i think it recognise, there are 2 storages, but i can not go in or do something from windows.)
Also: if i put phone on charge: there is this battery-icon but not green! even its full and the picture dont move.
i tried to remove battery and start again: same! just this writing "samsung galaxxy note gt-n7000" but nothing happening
if i try to go to recovery again (volume up + button ü button" screen wents black and then charging icon appears or this other writings ...
sorry for my english! please help me somehow!
i am not sure how it call in english, but maybe it was "factory reset" in settings, which i did ... i was with cm on 4.3.1 and with sweet rom on 4.1.2
Sounds like you bricked your phone. That's all I can say. Might be possible to reflash with Odin. Sorry to say this, but you should have read more *before* messing with your phones brain... [emoji15]

there are two versions: 3.07 and 3.09 which is good?
what am i doing withit now? dont wanna make again some mistake.
install odin and conect phone? and then?
If the download mode works, it is not bricked.
Why not flash CM:
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_n7000
---------- Post added at 06:41 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:36 PM ----------
After reading the webpage I decided to flash a nightly build of CM, and it works without a problem.
https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=n7000
PS: Unplug the USB cable from the phone when trying to get into download/recovery mode. The battery display often gets in the way otherwise.
Use Odin 3.09, either flash a stock 4.1.2 JB rom (if u still want sweet rom) or follow the advice above mine. Search for triangle away to remove the yellow exclamation mark.
Hello, everyone. Recently I acquired a Samsung Galaxy S5830D, the thing is that I wanted to change it's ROM so I decided to search over internet and in the forum I followed, they said that I had to install CWM (a custom Recovery) so I did it from the sd card. (In the stock recovery --> Apply update from sd card) Everything went fine. But then when I want to access to the recovery It always happens that instead of the recovery interface it appears a blue screen. The thing is that I have tried EVERY SINGLE DAMN THING... and nothing
What can I do? Is there any way to use options with adb or anything?
Please help me :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
**I installed CWM 6.0.4.6**
** Sometimes happens that in the middle of the night (around 10pm) magically when I reboot int recovery mode it shows the real interface but only like twice, but then it always shows the blue screen**
I wanted to attach a video but, xda doesn't let me, anyway. Please help me.
Hope you help this little poor soul :crying:
Thank you all.

Raakib Zargar thanks, but finally I gained access to the Recovery, I tried and I tried and I get inside. And then I took advantage of that and installed the ROM I wanted and for my surprise the ROM installed in the phone CWM 5.0.2.6 and after that I could do anything.
But recently, I did something wrong I guess and I think I hard brick my phone. It´s not my real real phone but it was my tester phone, just for practicing and learn. But I guess I won't have any fun and any learning.
Do you know any way to unhard brick my phone? :crying:

My phone has no OS . It was using a TWRP recovery and when i tried installing new OSs , it would simply reboot to TWRP after restarting phone.
Problem is now , even TWRP won't open .
Also , phone keeps restarting every 15-20 seconds if i plug it into charging or pc , with a blackish screen(meaning i know it is switched on).
I can't access anything anymore.
