Hi guys,
I just got one problem which I didn't have in the past, during my last 50 flashes
When I have USB debugging on and I plug in the USB it activates the USB storage by default.
I checked if by any chance in the USB settings Mass Storage is not ticked and it wasn't. I know it has no connection with USB debugging but it worth a try.
Is there a way to fix this?
Im running JPM + OCLF (it was doing the same before lagfix)
Before, I am 100% sure it didn't happen. Still cant understand what caused this behavior.
Thanks a lot!
no one??

Nope, it's doing it to me also.
Immensely annoying because I'm using an old HTC charger with a mini->micro USB adapter, and whenever I plug it in the phone thinks I've connected a USB cable and enters USB debugging mode. This bug then kills whatever music I'm listening to at the time by mounting the SD cards as USB drives, which I can only restart by disabling USB Mass Storage, waiting for the media scanner to finish and then re-opening the media player!
Anyone else seen or found a way around this?
Hi there,
I have a GoPro digital camera and a Samsung Galaxy S2.
I also have an USB on-the-go adapter.
When I connect an USB stick (mass storage device), it is recognized by the phone and I can browse the contents of the stick using any file explorer.
When I connect the GoPro camera, the camera goes automatically to USB mode a couple of seconds later. And because of this delay, the camera is not recognized by the phone.
The phone seems to "read" only the initial state of the device. If the state changes later, this is not recognized by the phone. An USB stick is a mass storage device by default, therefore there are no problems.
I am running the official ICS 4.0.3 on the Galaxy S2.
The SD card of the GoPro is formatted as FAT32.
So, the question is: how do I get to read the contents of the digital camera on the phone using USB on-the-go?
unable to get USB storage mode when I connect my USB data cable it just keep on charging my device rather than giving option to connect to mass storage while I am using CM10.1 Beta 4 rom by davidteri91 help me out of this and getting really low voice in headset while calling
Try enabling debugging mode from setting/developer option/android debugging
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
Do you have fast charging in that ROM? If so, if it is enabled simply turn it off.
Is there a way to mount the SD in mass storage when connected to pc? transferring lots of files normal way takes a vary long time
Yes, with the USB not plugged in go to Settings/Xperia/USB connectivity and the options will be there. You can only mount the external SD card as MTP though.
Thanks :good:
USB options doesn't work. Only charges phone while connected to USB. Using pixel experience rom.
Go to dev options and change default USB config to Media Transfer
