Just a video I put together showing how to install the Ubuntu touch dev preview on the Nexus 7. This is not a daily driver, but pretty cool to check out for yourself. I will get a review video up later.

Can anybody tell me if its possible to port Ur-Quan Masters (Star Control 2) to the Android platform??
Linux packages and source code are available here:
http://sc2.sourceforge.net/downloads.php
I absolutely loved this game way back when, it would be a blast to play on my ADP1!!!
that would be awesome
+1 Ur Quan Masters on Android would be the bomb!
I would absolutely LOVE to see this!! Specially with the 3DO Video support options, and PC menu options!
Oooh... would be wonderful...

This would probably be where you would see some kind of information about the project starting. I'd already be working on this if I had the programming experience required.
I just worked out a tablet version of the Nexus Prime boot animation for Viewsonic G Tablet
Have look at my post in the Android Themes section for more details & instructions.
For G Tablet use the WSVGA (1024Ć600) version.
Here is the link. Tell your suggestions...........
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1294970
Has anyone tried it on Viewsonic G Tablet???? Howz it????
I'll try it tonite when i get off..thanks
It looks cool!! It runs a little choppy but it works. Instead of showing the colors the whole time it will go to a black screen about every 3 secs then play the animation and repeat until it boots up.
Wow, that file size is HUGE (11.4MB). I have a feeling that there is a LOT of optimization that could be done with that file. The original Galaxy Nexus bootanimation file that I'm using on my HTC Sensation (960x540) is only 1.5MB and it is super smooth.
Rom Crawler is a new way to be sure your kept up to date with your favorite roms and mods.
Tired of Rom Manager not being up to date? Tired of checking daily to see if your rom finally got that update with those cool new toggles you've seen in the teasers? Well this is the app for you.
Rom Crawler will automatically parse out all .zip URLs from OPs in your devices development sub forum making it easy to download your roms without digging through cluttered OPs, etc.
Downloads are placed on your sdcard in the /t3hh4xx0r/romCrawler/ directory!
-If no zips are displayed under the thread you select, don't bug me, bug your rom dev! Rom Crawler can only parse direct links to URLs. If your dev links to a folder, theres no way that Rom Crawler can parse out the links. Ask your dev to instead post direct links to their builds in their OP. If dev-host.org. Its a free hosting service that provides direct links.
-If your dev links to a php redirect, you will see the zip listed as blahblahblah/download.php?id=blahblahblah.zip. You can still download the file, though it will appear on your SD as download.php?=blahblahblah.zip. This will be fixed in future versions.
-If your device is not supported, I personally don't care. Mine is. If you would like to see your device added though, it's INCREDIBLY simple to add. Just visit github.com/t3hh4xx0r/RomCrawler and follow the instructions in the README. All thats needed is to add a single line. I will try to release an update as soon as new devices are added.
If you have issues with the app, please don't just give bad ratings and negative comments. Contact me and we will see if we can work it out.

This is similar to the free version, but with more features.
-Ad free!
-Long press on thread title will open link in browser. (Tapatalk doesn't currently have any intent to allow link to be launched in their app. According to their forums, it will be added soon. When they support this feature, I will happily add it.)
-Empty OPs display a message about no links being found, rather than returning an empty list.
-False links - sentences that end in .zip that would return on the free version - are no longer displayed.
-Updated UI.
-Screenshot viewer! *Note* Only works if thread author wrapped screenshots in the Rootzwiki priovided BB code.
Updates coming soon...

First of all, thanks for your contribution. I just wanted to say, I think the two bolded features, especially the second one, should be included in the Free version as well. It's a reflection on the reliability of the app itself, and not really inciting me to pay for the Premium version. Other than that, good work.
ya, those will be in the update on monday ill release for the free version. those are things ive only recently fixed. the premium verison gets priority for bug fixes.
nice! good stuff.
Nice app too bat LG optimus2x is not supported

I've also managed to update most of the features/details for existing ROMs. As well as adding new tags, correcting old tags, updating the Featured Development Slider on the Main Page and fixing some broken/derp'd links.
All's well in the world.
Hey, this looks pretty cool, and useful! I've always wanted a straight-forward, condensed list of ROM and kernel options, so I can easily decide which ROM I want to flash next. It's also nice to just have a Nexus 4 wiki. Consider it bookmarked.

I'm glad you find it useful. If you haven't done so already, you could also check out: [Directory] Mako: ROMs & Kernels. It's definitely a less extensive, although it is straight to the point.
Thanks for passing by & for bookmarking. :good:

Hi!
This is not N4 specific, but Android general. But it's such an AMAZING good quality sound mod, and works marvellously in N4, that I thought you could add it to your wiki.
Nice idea your wiki, BTW

Many thanks!
Now that I'm finally through with listing and detailing all the ROMs and Kernels, I can finally show the MODs and Tools a little love. I'll surely add this MOD to the roster. :good:
Personally I am using ElementaryOS Freya right now (built it myself) and was looking for other things to use. the only issue is that i need to make sure that it doesn't have weird performance issues during compiling. I enjoy eOS' nice modern (OS X-inspired) UI
Best way of finding out other options is finding out what other users and devs are running!
