Dev, I am facing problem after buying a used Galaxy i9000 .
1.I charged my battery fully [100%] , then using after 5/6hr when battery goes down to 34%-35% , the Cell phone suddenly got shut down , When I plug it in , then it says battery was empty . Then I have to charge it again .
2.When battery is 66%-67% , I tun off my phone and started after 5min , I saw it's only 17% !!!
What is the remedy/ solution for this problem .
[Don't say to change ROM/kernel/ clean delvik cache , I have already done them]
Do this problem will be solved by Changing battery ?

No cwm , only two screens

plug in the charger with the phone switched OFF and it will charge
note is off , baterry is inside , but no charging.

It is charging just the Note dont have a charging led (one of the few things I dislike about the note)
8 hours in charger , but i can switch on my note .
Ok my note is in service , my friend me with home made JIG reset binary counter.
I hope it will guarantee repair.
what happened? I had oficial rom ICS germany, and I wanted a HYBRID ROM data. After flash through my CMW ran rom but only splash screen, then I switched back to CMW and tried to reset WIPE DATA. I think this is so you can not do that ICS may be a factor just flashing through Odin.
I then tried via PC Odin cast about three different ROM but still recording the end of it stuck.
So i was on FDE kernel trying to install FDE +2 ROM
and it didnt work so i flashed it to alfs8a GDX kernel and after that i turned it on but nothing stuck on alfs8 boot image....so i took the battery out ,put it back in and nothing....cant turn it on....can't flash...cant connect phone
(battery is near end....)
anyway Is there a possibility for my phone to be hard bricked?
I have 11W19
PCC(repair phone) is unable to procced with ......

Firstly , whenever you flash any ROM or any kernel , you should ALWAYS make sure battery is more than 50%
Since you can see the boot animation , so you have a soft brick and NOT a hard brick.
First , you need to charge your battery.
I'm not sure , but maybe connect to your charger and turn on your phone till the green LED lights up.
Leave it like that for 2 hours so that the battery charges
Then try to fix it using flash tool/PCC/SEUS

3.I tried with all kinds of repair programs....(flashtool,PCC,SEUS....)
4.No led light,no vibrate no nothing
5.Today,in school i will ask my friends to borrow me charger so i will try that
but few hours ago i accidently safetly removed ADB sony ericcson drive....or something like that

Might be because of low battery.
As I said , charge your phone and then after two hours , repair with the above mentioned tools

I have gingerdx v29 with nAa & my battery drains in a day without even touching the phone... (on stock rom it lasted few days longer)
I tried with changing recomended settings to save battery & cleaning battery stats in recovery mode but it doesn't help...
is there any fix or some other custom rom that I can flash to improve my battery life to a descent level ?

I'm not an expert on this, but I think it would be a good idea to download both CPUSpy and GSam Battery Monitor to find out what exactly drains your battery so much.
CPUSpy is to see if the sleep states activate normally as they usually would. (mine is at >80%)
GSam is to see if there are any rogue apps or system processes that eat the battery up.
Then report back here
EDIT: Also, I heard that it is recommended to calibrate your battery after you flash a new ROM. I think this can be done via recovery by wiping the battery stats.

i gt da same problem once, so i re flash the rom, & wipe everything, after that i used " battery calibration" tool from market & used it, now everything is fine. . . .

try fresh re installation.... and before installing wipe data/ factory reset, wipe cache partiotion
For save battery in lock mode try a app called juice defender.
It's really worth so......:thumbdown:

I was using my n7000 normally without any isseu. I dont have root or nothing , all I remember is that one time since I bought it I flashed official JB using odin and thats it.
I was using and the battery was 20% , I connect it to charge and It was charging normally.
then I went back to use it and It was stock on boot screen Note N7000 and its very hot.
I pulled the battery out and try to start it but it didnt start! , I tried to accses download mode or recovery mode but I cant reach them! I let the device to cool down .. and till now I cant start it !
please help me
First thing to try is charge the battery externally or use a battery are sure it's charged and try to power on, or get into once of the factory modes.
I tried another battery which is fully charged .. It didn't work ..
Hello everyone .
This morning I was working as normal on my Note n7000 with official stock rom JB 4.1.2 UAE , I was taking some photos , the battery was low , and then he just stopped working , I plug it into charger until 100 % then tried to start it but stays on the Samsung's logo !
I tried to pass the official rom again using odin but the same problem it stays on the Samsung's logo .
only download mode is working , recovery mode shows the green android logo and after that restart to the 1st situation again.
I felt tired and just removed the battery from the phone and let it like that ( did not mean to do that ) and after about 1 hour I turned on the phone and the problem was solved by itself ! But how ?
and what that means ? is that going to happen again ?
what should I do ?
