[Q] Install new Baseband 313 with CM7

Hi all! i wanna ask if it's possible to install a new baseband with CM7. I think not beacuse i've tried via smartflash but the phone doesn't boot in S/W update! Should i do a nandroid backup and then install it? Thanks for help!

Yes, do a nandroid backup before flashing the bb, cause the flashing will cause a fullwipe. so u can rollback after the flashing and everything will be fine again.
The only thing is that you have to use a different RIL when you use cm7, cause it cannot run the x20 RILs.
What do you mean the phone wont boot in S/W ?
pull the battery, hold vol-down key and plug in the usb cable without putting battery back in, then you can use smartflash.

..when the flashing process is finished you can pull the cable and put the battery back in, to boot for nandroid restore. (wipe cache/dalvik additionally)

What i mean is that when you plug device in while holding volume down – you should see a software update message on screen.. but the screen remains black and the phone goes into a bootloop

i see. that could mean that the device is not getting enough power from the cable to keep on. do you use a usb port of a usb-hub or any other kind of lengthening?
what you also can try is holding the vol-down key when you plug in the battery, that should also boot into S/W mode.

[Q] HELP: Stuck on the X screen & broken power button

Hi all.
I have a Nexus one , rooted and unlocked. with broken power button
While i was going through an update using ROM MANAGER, the phone restarted then halted on the X screen, I can get in the fastboot screen (recovery) but without the power button i can't select any option and go further than that. and if the phone starts normally it stucks on the X screen.
I tried removing the sim card and SD , and tried the command "C:\android-sdk-windows\tools>fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-2.5.1.4-
passion.img" it succeeds flashing the file .. but what shall i do next???
the google driver (ADB) is installed on the device manager on my PC, and recognized while stuck on the X screen. BUT if connect the device while on the recovery it is recognized as "ANDROID BOOTLOADER INTERFACE"
I also tried using SUPERONECLICK v2.3.3. but didn't work as well.
PLEASE HELP ME

How did you manage to fix your phone with a broken power button? I'm in the same situation; I have copied the PASSIMG.zip to the SD card as well.. how do I run it with a broken power button in bootloader?

Were you having a backup already present (Backed up using an App?) . If yes, then you can restore. But i don't think the other way around is possible.

Did you try to remove the battery while the nexus are conected to de charger? It must start on bootloader or recovery i didn't remember.

I did. I can get into the bootloader with the battery trick. but I need the power button to flash the PASSIMG file. anyway around this?

If you plug/unplug 4 or 5 times phone boot itself (with an USB plugged in). Repaired a neighbour's N1 last month this way.
When phone boots, restart to bootloader and flash Blackrose, it uses trackball and volume keys to navigate, then what you want. You doesn't need the power button with this configuration (trackball could unlock the screen and to lock you can install some app or widget).
Anyway, I unassembled N1 several times (to clean it and to reconect the upper chip that it's been disconnected in a fall to the ground), maybe with a little care and seeing some youtube videos you can repair your button!

when i press the button for power on my phone turns on and stops in th lg screen
when i press vol + and power on my phone enter in normal recovery (no cmw,or other) and when i connect whith pc install a divice but no folder
when i press vol + and power on my phone enter in normal recovery (no cmw,or other) without battery i coonect whith pc phone begins to vibrate and screen is pink or violet i don't remember

You need to press the VOL "--" and the button switch on the phone, and hold up to vibration. Thus enter into a mode of CWM. If this does not help, then update the firmware through KDZ, the data is stored.

Did u installed a new busybox. If yes, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2036757
If u want to start from stock recovery in CWM-Recovery u can use adb, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2006168

No need to wipe or do a factory reset...just reflash firmware through KDZ. And you should be good. Then just re root after.

Looks like your file system is corrupted, making impossible to re-install the factory settings
Just re-flash the phone...
Downgrade to V10A, factory reset and upgrade to V10H "web upgrade".

Your problem is solved very simply. You just need to make the output of KDZ when iParam stop at 204 , then insert the battery, to come again in mode S/W Upgrade and re-install the firmware . Run KDZ and re-install the firmware. Believe me helped. Sorry for my bad English. My skype: Feodorus1972.

i tried vol up + power , and got nothing
i will try this thing!!

i think its unlock BL problem!
when i start unlocking BL , after enter my key , it says " to many links " !!
i reconnect the phone to PC and try to Unlock it again , it says " your bootloader already unlocked!!

I have very big problem. I flash stock JB but i was idiot. I downloaded jb for 9070 not for 9070P so now i cant turn my phone online. power button dont respond. I need all your help for try repair it

looks hard bricked (dont know really).. I havnt any experience about unbricking google it

I can't turn phone on so recovery or download mode don't work. I try this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1120880 but dont work. Only heart sound for plug usb and after 3 sec is sound for unplug usb
