[Q] Sim/ Network unlocking Xperia T - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

I know a few people have posted questions on this before but there are no suggestions/ recommendations on a 3rd party unlock code provider.
I was wondering if someone has used an independent sim unlock code provider and can recommend the same. Google gives too many results and there is no way of getting comfort on which might be genuine. (My Xperia T is locked to T-mobile UK running official 4.1.2 (build no. 9.1.A.0.489)
Thanks

[Q] Which SIM Un-Locking Services for the Z

Hi all,
I just brought a Xperia Z on eBay locked to Orange UK network.
Does anyone know where I can get an un-lock code for the phone?
I don't mind paying, just want to find a fast and reliable un-locking service.
Many thanks
P.S. Orange UK needs the phone to be registered for at lest 6 months before they will unlock it. So its no go there.
Has any one used HtcCode.com?
It seems they can unlock the Xperia Z between 1 to 3 days for around £25.
I'd be grateful for any feedback on HtcCode.com.
I'd like to know that as well...
I got the unlock code but don't know where to put the code.. Any ideas?
when you insert another sim card ( other than the one from the carrier you bought the device from) it will ask you to put the unlock code
Is it possible to have free sim unlock?

[Q] Xperia Z SIM unlock options

About to buy a Sony Xperia Z on O2 in the UK. From what I've been reading, it'll be SIM-locked. Just wondering what my options are for unlocking the phone? Has nyaone used HTC Codes before?

Depends how you get it on o2.
If you get it via CarphoneWarehouse, then chances are the phone will be sim unlocked and also bootloader unlockable......However..
Like me if you get this directly from o2 then the device will be locked on both counts...BUT anyone who is on a monthly O2 contract can request to have their phone sim unlocked at anytime during their contract period. Basically just ring them and tell them and within a few days they'll email you your sim unlock code.
It worked for me, and have even tested with a vodafone sim.
OP, I will ask you to read the Forum Rules,

Simcard restriction unlock

Hi,
I own a Sony Xperia Z, i wanted to trade my Z with my friends Htc One, but his phone is sim locked at a company which i don't use, so i wanted to know if it if possible to Sim unlock it safely ?
Of course you can safely SIM Carrier unlock your device. I called my carrier and was provided with the SIM Carrier unlock code for my device. If the carrier won't provide it there are sites online that sell the codes. Here is. Thread that list out a few http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2242473. This is in the AT&T specific forum, but is not specific to any carrier. Hope this helps.

[Q] "Prize" Sim Unlock Issues

Hello all,
I'm quite aware that sim-unlocking questions are generally frowned upon, however the phone is not under any sort of contract or commitment, and I do live in Canada, so hopefully that should cover the legality of this inquiry.
The issue I'm having is that I won an Xperia Z1 at a Telus press event (hosted for mobile resellers locally). However I am a Rogers customer, and do not wish to switch providers to switch phones. After calling in Telus and requesting an unlock code (traditionally $35), I was told that the phone is not eligible to be unlocked by Telus, since their unlocking policy doesn't include "Prize" phones, or promotional phones of any sort. Apparently it is blacklisted in their unlock code database and there is no unlock code to be purchased from them as a result.
I've attempted two different online unlock code sites, the first of which immediately issued me a refund saying they couldn't locate an unlock code. The other has said they couldn't find the code and are now looking under an international Database but it would take a few days to *possibly* locate the unlock code.
My question to the experts is: Can this phone be unlocked? If there is no code via Telus does that mean that there is no other code elsewhere online that can be generated? Is there other solutions (via rooting, online, elsewhere), or do I have to sell this phone and buy an unlocked one.
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thank you

Thank you! I managed to get it unlocked (using an international code? according to the sim unlocker) but I definitely appreciate the help! Cheers!

Sim Unlocking T-mobile USA C6606 Sony Xperia Z

So many may be wondering the same as me. What is the best place online to get a sim unlock code for the T-mobile USA Sony Xperia Z Model ID (C6606)? Meaning what is the best third party site that any of you have attempted to get a sim unlock code from and have been successful. T-mobile will not give me the code. Sony will not give me the code. How much did you pay? What is the URL? How long did it take to get the code?
Shokouhi
you can try cellunlocker.net they took about a week tho, i got mine unlocked from there
There has to be a free way. Can If flash some international radios and call it a day?
There's no free way to sim unlock. The sim lock status is stored in a protected area (the TA partition) and cannot be unofficially altered.

Call T-Mobile US if you are a customer. They will do it for free.
unlocking
I don't mind paying for the service, but I don't want to get ripped off either.
I think that is what poster is asking, whats a reputable site for acquiring SIM unlock codes?
