[MIUI v4 THEME][VA themes](1.23.)

Hi guys,
Here is my first theme for MIUI v4, ICS based. I didn't change much because I like the stock theme, so I only modified icons, status bar icons, lockscreen and some other things.
Lockscreen is a new one, I used Iphone3_w_wh_T lockscreen by tianyu as a base and added some cool stuff. Works with 9s weather advanced from market.
Thanks to authors which work I have used, all the proper credits are in my other thread (miui themes for ginger).

Here's what I encountered.
Music controls overlap.
(maybe they're supposed to?)
And when you reach the bottom, it shows Next alarm and two "nulls."
Edit: I think these are meant to be here. 'cause I drag down where the weather is supposed to be and it shows weather info, drag down on the date and it shows the alarm and I'm assuming the nulls are for calendar events, etc.
I don't use weather on Miui lockscreens, but I wanted to see how this worked. I might modify it a little bit. :B

Yeah, music should overlap, it is like that in the original theme and I left it that way. That two nulls are for the calendar events (you don't have any I guess ). Also, if you click on the bottom in the middle of the screen you will get a 3 day forecast (you will need 9s weather for this) and on the bottom left there is some other info about current weather.

im assuming you need to be running miui v4 or will this work on any type of miui? dumb question i think as i'm on the dx and haven't heard much about v4 for it yet.

Well mostly it should work, but maybe some of the icons won't change because of new names in v4. Lockscreen will work (tested only on 480x800, not sure about other resolution).

Same here, one like zuned25 made for MIUI GB roms. Not an expert on these things but logically, white background for menus etc has a negative impact on battery life due higher consumption of power to generate the white background/light? Black/orange or black/blue theme is perfect for my eyes. Stock theme hurts my eys, the white being so bright.

Extract folder from this zip file (MinimalisticTextPreferences) and place it on your sd card. Then go to minimalistic text app and go to restore (select 3x1 file).

Don't worry about a thanks.
For a dark theme it will take a lot of time, and problem is I can not start soon because of my private work, so don't expect it soon. But I will make it one day for sure.

Will this theme be supporting V4 V2.2? It wont install because its and older version. Cool theme though, I love the charger bar on the lockscreen drag down!

Just some stuff and apps from the Xperia T ftf file.
I extracted some stuff (21 apps) from the Xperia T firmware but I haven't tried them all yet.
But new Email.apk is nice now with a nice widget (see picture above) and works well with Aeonworlds lockscreen notification mod (I tried it already), and some new clock widget I think is new(binar). ETc
You can try the other apps and see if it is any different from Xperia S.

I'll compare each apk version with the ones I got from last XS versions to see the updated one and will list them when done.
I do find the XT Home completely laggy whereas XGX Home is great... And the dark background is too uniform for me...
Will test the email app asap, the one I use is pathetic ;D.

Can somebody explain what the tv launcher does and what the tv out is....I can't see any app in the draw or shortcuts.

TV launcher is a bit heavier than the one found in the GX (i made a port of it some days ago)
weather widget now has a use my location option, useful when traveling i guess

The system dump includes many new wallpapers and even son 007 ringtones and notifications
I didn't try the music app or widget because i didn't know how to port them to the 2011 line, I tried this week but only gave force close

* Theme is inproperly compiled error. Solution: Set system theme, reboot your phone, set Sony UXP theme
* Trebuchet force closes.
Solution:
- Go to recovery and select factory reset
- Download the theme but do NOT set it
- Go to Settings --> Apps --> Trebuchet and remove all possible data
- Now enjoy the theme!

The latest update with white dialer and messages is awesome, this is how it should be as xperia z has white dialer. Keep up the good work.

I just buy the XPERIA Z version and do refund. Too bad the dock bar was not support in landscape mode. I need it for running in my Nexus 10.
Hopefully landscape mode will be added in shortly. Then I will buy it again.

Buddy its a great theme and you wouldn't believe how much trouble I went through to make it work my explorer but that's the theme manager bug. The problem I have is that, on AOKP, the dialer is white and so is every digit you type so I can not see what I entered I know I entered something when I see suggestions from dialer but can you please change the font of what you type on dialer to black ? Just that one problem... I am really looking forward to an update fixing this... Please do consider.. Rest all is just amazing ! The theme even changed my Go Sms icon from launcher to Xperia Messenger and for all THIS IS A MUST BUY THEME IF YOU ARE XPERIA LOVER !!!! :victory:

Problem with camera Icon
Nice theme I love it, nevertheless I have a problem, for some reason the camera icon on my nexus 4 is not getting themed, i am running ParanoidAndroid 3+ and no more, i have tried this theme only on this rom because its the only one i like the most, any help will be very much apreciated, thanks in advance :good:

I will revert the white dialer on CM9 devices, CM10 and CM10.1 will keep the white one.

Go to /system/app/ and remove GalleryGoogle.apk
Now reflash your ROM, without the gapps.
That should do the job!

Great theme can you add 'last app' icon in the notification bar for akop. Only thing that's missing for me.
I made one my self but it's just a image which I override.

An introduction:
This theme is made to be an extension and improvement over the current MIUI V5 icon set. I'm trying to achieve a clean look for the MIUI V5 icons by removing shadows and re-doing certain icons. When I make a new icon for an app which doesn't have a clean looking icon I will re-do the whole icon in order to get the look I want. I've also included a lockscreen on which I'm working and a set of wallpapers which are photographs of mine.
I've currently made a lot of icons for dutch apps and have fulfilled a lot of requests. Though most icons made for now are for dutch apps, there are a lot of international included as well. By publishing it on XDA next I'm looking to recieve feedback and suggestions for new icons which you would like to see. I will add these to my list and will do them if I get the time and feel like doing a certain icon.
Theme notes:
If I get the chance to make a few new icons or other additions to the theme I will upload the build to Goo.im. Themes and previews are named according to the uploaded date, like so "yyyymmdd_miCOV5.mtz". The preview jpeg will show you the icons included in that build.
Lockscreen notes:
The lockscreen is a scratch build lockscreen with 720P and 480P support Coding the lockscreen is a tedious task with lot's of trial and error so I will work on this whenever I feel confident enough that I won't throw my mouse through the window.
That's pretty much the hang of it now, please let me know what you like and dislike and if you want a certain icon added let me know and I will see what I can do!

I was cleaning up some code in the lockscreen files and forgot to account for 480P screens, excuse me. I don't have a 480P device to test on. I've made some adjustments and uploaded a new version especially for you. Go try it and let me know if it's fixed!
BTW, how are the music controls working on your display?

I'm sorry but I'm using mihome and music controls don't work on any lockscreen so I can't test it :-\ but I'm downloading right away and tell you if it's good again.

Thank you all. I am planning to implement the missed call and text preview in the lockscreen if I find out how. I will probably move on to theming the whole of MIUI when I feel that most icons are covered and the lockscreen is the way we want it to be.
So if you have any requests on which apps you'll want an icon for, let me know!

Paul just little bug in lockscreen for 480x800 device. The notification and charging bar is about half centimeter above the locker.

Most 'normal' ones like phone, mail, etc. are available on the net (after some extensive searching), however i've never seen those dutch ones (nu.nl, ING) and i would love to be able to use them !

You can extract them from the mtz file (it's a zip file). Inside is a file called icons and if you extract that one you will find the icons as png files. Good luck and enjoy!

Why is it such an odd resolution? What's up with the aspect ratio? The typography between the make.believe an Xperia is weird. It looks oddly blurred. This is after looking at the raw image. As i understand of what you saying you want a 1000% perfect image right? As everyone saying this is a home made image:fingers-crossed: no that image i copied a part from an other image and posted it here.

New version of the wallpaper is released hope you like it...

I love the black and im ok with making it brighter... BUT removing SONY XPERIA Z? It will be very ugly! My whole image is just the SONY XPERIA Z.
Maybe you want to replace it with something else?

Come on guys, don't you know the golden rule of XDA about posting? "If you don't have something nice/useful to say, don't say anything at all".
If you don't like the wallpaper, no problem, everyone's got another idea of beauty. But then you either should be quiet, or make some suggestions to the OP on how to "improve" the wallpaper to your likes. Maybe he'll like the idea, too, but never ever insult someone's work. He/she did it for free and was friendly enough to share it, always keep that in mind.
So, all in all, thread cleaned and also closed as requested by OP.
