I went to use my "abandoned" e680i for a small project, and felling nostalgic, tryed to go to motorolafans, but the site was dead. Fortunately, google found this thread . My e680i was really useful up to 2009 when 3G was something I could not ignore anymore; I have fixed it about 2 times(changing small mosfets/broken display etc) and it still works.
Well, I am the guy who ported libsdl, quake, doom, scummvm and some others for the ezx family, a long time ago(7+ years?), but, as I am off cellphone dev scene because of time constraints, I too just registered just to say hi!

I didn't realize they put the power button on the top left. That's a weird spot to put it...I do like that they put the proximity sensors on the left side of the front. That is a major design flaw on my s3 at the moment (every time I'm on a phone call and I try to swipe down notifications, screen will turn off since it registers my thumb.)

Haven't even tried them yet. I have set of Skullcandy 50/50's that I used today, but I'll probably take the included headset to the gym tonight to give them a shot. I'll let you know.

This was the same problem with the EVO 4G LTE. I'd always end up tripping the proximity sensor when I swiped down the notification bar during calls and what not. I like the new position, and it adds a little more industrial aspect to the overall look of the handset.

I have the s3 but really considering in buying this phone... All I want is good battery life... Good unboxing ill be sure to keep an eye out for other hands on videos and your review

There's no registration for it that I'm aware of. To be honest, I don't even remember how I got involved with it, it was so long ago. Sorry.

explicit, how is that battery holding up?
Also, it might be a network issue, but my LTE would have trouble with incoming texts that are more than 160 chars. So I would receive the 2nd text first, then the initial text would come in second. (When one long text gets broken down into 2). I was wondering if the One did this too.

Im in the same boat. Im in Fairfield, Ct and Ive the exact same status....its 5pm now. I can deal with a day or two after given the $70 discount I got but if no email confirmation saying that they at least have it in stock does not come in by end of tomorrow, well, I may start acting childish

lol, I'm with you. I wouldn't mind as much if I had a working phone....digitizer has been acting up for about a month, phone is barely usable.

Just got off the phone with newegg....Was told if they do receive the phone over the weekend it's possible we will receive it by Monday, definitely maybe .....I am being sent a $25 prepaid credit card for the inconvenience...didn't have to ask or anything.

Thank you for sharing this information. Honestly we do care and are very greatful for it, its just we needed that little bit more info on the source, as you may have seen its very easy for people to just claim they know things and post them publically and with tensions running so high as we are very happy about the device I feel many of us jumped to conclusions.

I work for a big media company which has got more than 15 apps in Play Store. Most of the apps are in Top recommendations from Play Store.
Our business works closely with Google and we had issues when 4.3 was released. So Google gave us a heads up. Some people from our office are going to Google as well for testing on new device and Android OS.
I cant go into names.
If people don't like it i would suggest don't reply.

RMA Thread

This is for those that have to RMA their device like me and got an expected 3-4 week delivery schedule. Post the date here that you RMA'd, then post again when shipped, to give an actual expected timeframe of when to expect a shipment. Please quote your original when posting "shipped" to make it easier to track. This will undoubtedly fluctuate around now and the next couple weeks. So, let's keep this thread going, so people 3 weeks from now still have a realistic idea of when to receive a shipping confirmation.
We all hate to RMA a device we just received, so this isn't a whining thread. This is just a way to form some sort of objective information.

I start first. I RMA'd today November the 6th at 11 AM eastern time. Expected delivery shows 3-4 weeks.

I have both, and the G2 battery is a monster. But my N5 is doing 1000 times better today than yesterday.

Mine came 11/5 with a dead vibrator doa. Called last night and they're sending me a new one with info/label /box on how to send this one back. I had to give them the imei # and that's it.

That can be found in defects section. This is for RMA information on date filed and date shipped. Everyone has their reasons. This is information only to provide objective data. This is not a thread to judge for their reasons. I hope everyone can respect that, and keep this thread to its purpose.

Because as I stated this is to form objective data. Just facts on estimation of RMA process. There are those that ridicule people for their reasons to RMA. This will not become a thread of judgment. You can go to defects and say what's wrong and you're doing an RMA.
